Ummm... So, paint the 2020 Ferrari red then?...lol.
Look closely at the '91 "livery".... It's just a red car, with some exposed CF on the sides of the nose. Add black wing, black wheels, and throw random sponsors here and there and you have it.
I mean, I love the car. It's gorgeous, but It seems like a strange choice for the #1 of a list of top liveries, when it really doesn't have a "livery".

For whatever reason, I love the Stewart GP livery. My personal favorites are the Rothmans/Winfield Williams and the Benettons from 94-99.

Dude love this, for me the Goat is the late 70's (76, 77, 78) JPS Lotus. Black and gold baby, you could do a whole vid of this. It looked like a driverable fighter jet, and ushered in ground effect. Stationary it looked angry, but on track it moved with grace, perfect...
Respect is earned by breadth and depth of knowledge. That lil purple shout out to Tiametmarduk was choice. Not over played or underplayed. Tommo knows his F1 and his TH-cam. Doff of cap and chef's kiss sir....

@Felipe Ibarburu I would *love* to see those videos.
Personal fave is the Benetton B193 - banging Camel yellow with vibrant green, and look at the navy Ford swoop! Better than the B192 for better car numbers (5 and 6 rather than 19 and 20) and a cleaner front wing.
I can't disagree with the 1991 love but that year's gorgeous Braun Tyrrell Honda deserves a spot.

I think the 94 Rothmans Williams deserves to be on this list. It was absolutely iconic. The Benetton B194 was a looker as well. In fact, the entire 94 grid was pretty special.
Looking forward to the top 10 liveries of the 80'S :D Onyx F1 should be in there :D

I love the 90s Tobacco brandings. So iconic regardless of what they are.

This list is amazing. One car that I think should be an honourable mention is the ‘97 Arrows A18 with the blue, red and white. Thought that looked quite nice 👌

Oh man, u just forgot the fabulous black Andrea Moda black livery! And I absolutely in love with 93's Lotus 107B Livery (not such great as Camel Lotus, but so great too).

I really like the Jordan 199, even though it only won 2 times during the 1999 season, the yellow/black theme, with the black stripes on top and red B&H sponsor it really looks great in my opinion

Tommo, make a top 10 list for the best testing liveries of all time (preferably from 2000s onwards) which never raced.
My personal favourite after the 2000s is when McLaren-Merc put orange instead of the iconic silver on the MP4-21 in 2006. It looked _peeeeerrfect_. I am duly sad that they never raced with it.

The Jordan 191 was originally called the Jordan 911 (Eddie got Porsche to pay him to change the name). A bit ironic considering that it had Osama as a sponsor
The early 1990’s March/Layton House were beautiful cars. The AGS was a surprise. I’ve watched a few of the 1991 Grand Prix. In those days the cameras only followed the leaders. I think Eurosport used to cover qualifying where you might see other cars but that was it.

It´s amazing to see, that only Ferrari stuck to their color pattern. All other teams changed it up since then ore just disappeared.
I really like the 1990 Onyx, it had Marlboro, blue, and white with a little bit of neon green. It was great!
Hey Tommo, i have a sugestion of video: What is Magneti Mareli? (I think its spelled like this), its a sponsor that i saw on the nose of a lot of cars on the 00s and the 90s, i wanna know more about it, cos i never heard about it

Ferrari: Wish granted!
I was expecting the '90 Ferrari, but that '91 I was not familiar with, looks awesome and is helped immensely with Alesi's helmet matching perfectly with it. (90's also had AMAZING helmets)
My personal favorite is the '98 Benson & Hedges Jordan, with the wasp nose. Bit biased because it is one of my earliest memories of F1, seeing Damon win Spa in it.
I agree the most beautiful decade - here's my top 10 not in any order, but I've done this before watching your video so I can see how we compare!
1999 Jordan (prob no.1), 1997 Arrows, 1996 Williams, 1995 Benetton, 1992 Williams, 1997-1999 McLaren (pretty much the same), 1997 Sauber, 1993 McLaren, 1997 Stewart, 1996 Tyrell
I was waiting for the ferrari liveries but once i saw the mclaren and jordan i thought it was left out as maybe its not consider as a liveries. Glad to see it on the top. Also my fav looking F1 cars from the 90s
Nice list. At the very least, I’d give an honorable mention to the 1990 Lola LC90 raced by Larousse, the 1991 Lambo 291 and the 1995 Forti FG01. Maybe not the Larousse and the Forti so much, but the Lambo was an absolutely gorgeous livery on a gorgeous body imo. Also, and I’m not saying I would have also included one of these liveries, but no Rothmans Williams? I always hear from other fans how much they love that particular livery.
Tommo do the liveries of the 1950’s, 60s and 70s. Maybe do car designs as well because the cars were easily distinguishable because of the free regs, dont focus on paint but which car looks the coolest. That’s another 3 videos sorted 😂

By far and away the best F1 90's livery has to be the BAR supertec. Absolutely loved the zip in the middle that seperated the different sponsors lmao 😂 seriously though this list is pretty much spot on

The 94-96 Rothmans Williams are banging, 95 Benetton is a good shout and any of the B&H Jordan's would fit in nicely too. But that's just me. The Ferrari though, sensational

I think the 1998 Jordan Mugen Honda 198 has a really underrated livery, but that might just be me because it's my favorite V10 of all.
My favorite is the 1997 Rothmans Williams car, and with Villeneuves helmet its perfect also a fan of the 94 Jordan car/livery (drove it a lot in Grand Prix 2 ) and much later in the Rfactor 1994 mod) and the 1998 Benetton, the car is very simple, sidepods which are further back then the other cars, also totally different design (no real bardge boards, but more of a wing element to guide the air under the car )

Despite not agreeing with the posittion of some of the liveries, can't argue with any for being on the list itself. The only one that I might remove is the Symtek. Too plain for my liking. Great video anyway Tommo.

By the middle of the 90s, MTV was already a juggernaut.
The 1993 Benetton was beautiful. Surprised it isn't on here. The 1994 Benetton was brilliant too.
The Lucky Strike version of the 1999 BAR was pretty decent too (idk if it counts as it was never fully raced).
Agree you on the top pick, love the black accents on ferrari... We gotta get Mission Winnow back to get those black accents back onto the wings. A flat black wouldn't be modern, but figure a marlboro triangle inspired weave pattern?
