Thks. I guess I like wet eggs mostly/usually…..but a tasty frittata like yours usually goes over…..very well beautifully at my house. I freeze frittata slivers….for the future, of course. We eat lots of farm fresh eggs. Thks….and we are gladly subscribed!!! Ahna
I love making frittatas and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how well they turn out since I don't cook a lot, but I'm always looking to make it easier and better. I've never added milk or half and half to the egg mixture; I will definitely give that a try. God bless!
Yes it is an enameled Staub cast iron. They both are very similar as far as cooking is concerned. I chose to get an enameled cast iron for low maintenance because I didnt want to deal with keeping it seasoned, etc.
Thanks! Actually I recently found out that Avocado oil has a higher smoke point than olive oil. So it depends on what you’re cooking. If you are sautéing veggies or pan-frying meat at higher temps and your oil tends to burn easily after a few minutes, then yes Avocado oil works much better! Or if you have to cook something in batches and you don’t want that 2nd batch to have a bunch of browned/burnt oil, then use Avocado oil. But I still love the flavor that olive oil gives to food. And olive oil is cheaper lol. So I switch it up depending on the meal😊
Frittata's are now my new favorite breakfast food! Have you ever made a frittata?

Is that an enameled cast iron skillet? If so, does it cook like regular cast iron?
