@@jamesgamblin3488 It is true. It was said about the famous physicist Julian Schwinger that he publishes to show you that he is the only one who can do it. Not a good idea.(Although he was very approachable apparently on a one-on-one basis).
I suppose that Chef Jean-Pierre must have experimented in simplifying some recipes for his channel. It seems like he did although he is not too explicit about it.

I didn't have parsley and it got stuck on the bottom of my pan (even though I did the sign of the cross, very important), but I can taste every ingredient and it's magical. For me, I like to see 'mistakes' especially since Chef JP doesn't edit out what he calls 'mistakes'. I see this as a learning opportunity and honestly, I'd be quite happy to see more of how to correct various mistakes because we all know we WILL make them! For instance, I made the delicious French onion soup recipe, cutting it in half. However, I did Not cut the amount of flour/butter for the roux in half. I tell you, somehow I had enough blonde roux to make a few gallons of soup, lol. I didn't know if I should just remove some of the roux before adding the stock (didn't seem like a good idea because too many ingredients were in it), or just add more liquid (which is what i did). Fortunately, I had just enough stock in my freezer to make it work, although my onion to 'soup' ratio was off - but it was very good anyway by some miracle. I now have French onion soup in my freezer to last the winter, lol. Anyway, I am never disappointed to see a mistake and learn how to fix it. TY as always chef for another amazing recipe!

Chef JP, I absolutely love your videos! I've tried many, all wonderful...including your "old" broccoli & goat cheese frittata. I've made it 3-4 times, always a HUGE hit. Can't wait to try this one. Thanks for all you do and keep the vids coming!! You make Mondays and Thursdays much more fun :)

    Thanks again, my friend. 😘🙋🙋

Like the irreverent Sam the Cooking Guy says... If I got to pick my last meal it would be something with eggs. This is high on my list. Wouldn't be mad if this was the end😊
I absolutely love frittatas. I watched the older video earlier tonight. This is finally getting me soon. Yum! 😋

I just had to watch this video today as we had frittata for dinner yesterday. Mine was made with breakfast sausage, onion, green bell pepper, mushrooms and a blend of cheeses. Delicious. My family loves frittata.

Bonjour from Paris, excellent idea for what I call, quick dinner after a movie. You come home late after watching a film, you take out of the fridge
Prepare a tomato or green salad and your evening is more better. Love your dishes that can be prepared before hand. Thank you 🙏

Fantastic JP! I’m so sick of seeing these frittata recipes that use scorching hot pans and then they say that the burnt edges are beautiful. No way!! This is the only way to make a frittata. Bravo!

I did not forget to cook the mushrooms before the potatoes, good tip, also I had no broccoli so I added jalapeños instead it was amazing I promise you.

Oh I love a fritata! Sometimes we pour them into metal muffin trays and we call them egg cups. Absolutely perfect meal prep for busy family that still wants a good breakfast all week long.
