    Frittata is the most common food at home when I don't have much time but want something delicious and nutritional! It's actually a unique dish as you can experiment with whatever fillings you want and the result always will be scandalous 🤤

    I make frittatas frequently for brunch, and instead of fresh bell peppers I used roasted red peppers, which add a nice flavor and color, too.

    I made this today...took some license with the ingredients to use up some things I had in the fridge. Also added some Johnsonville Maple Sausage Strips (chopped and cooked) so it isn't all veggies. Really delicious. I really appreciate John's channel. Being a one-person household, you sometimes get in a rut with what you prepare for meals. With John's recipes, I think....hmmmm.....I haven't made that in a while....this has really brought more variety to my meals, the recipes are not hard, and everything can be split into portions for future meals. Love this channel, John! Thank you!!!

    If you have HBO you should watch the new series called Julia. It's about Julia Child and her efforts to get her show on PBS. it wasn't a foregone conclusion. I've watched the three episodes available, I highly recommend it.
    She was the trailblazer to all of this.

      Baking was the only time grandma measured. Sifted or timed for that matter! Lol! I remember asking her; How long do I cook it for gramma? She always answered; Till it's done! Thank you gram!

    I like to season my food so salt pepper red pepper or chili powder is what I would add. I also add oregano to my eggs. To top things off, I like shredded basil.

    If you are cutting back on dairy you can make frittatas with a little water instead of milk or cream, half or fewer than half as many eggs and a lot less cheese (or even no cheese at all). For more flavor, add dried herbs like basil, oregano, herbes de provence to the egg and water mixture and add butter to the onions and garlic. I cook mine longer on the stove with a lid covering the pan and move it to the oven for a few minutes set on broil to lightly brown the top.

PLEASE PLEASE make Medovik - Russian Honeycake. It is mildly complex and the most delicious cake I've ever had that needs more exposure. There is no way you won't enjoy making it and I would LOVE to see you put one together. PLEASE do this!

    That is a lot of veggies in that frittata. The Preppy Kitchen may turn into the Gassy Kitchen ( and we don't mean propane). But all those veggies must pack a lot of vitamins and be so healthful. It looked delicious!

    Beware of zucchini. Cook it wayyyyy down before the oven step or your frittata will be watery!
