The Samsung GalaxyA51 is one of the midrange devices that delivers on the experiences it promises but it's not all great too. You forgot to mention that the front camera aren't that good with low light. I preferred my j7pro front camera with low light than my current A51 front camera. The j7pro had the regular flash while the A51 had just the screen flash which wasn't too good in low light plus it doesn't have rich colors on the front camera like the J7pro. Aside that, the front camera aren't that bad though and the back camera is great too with rich colours.

Looks like Samsung finally listened to Eric and brought out the Samsung galaxy a52 running on Snapdragon 720G. The price tag of the a52 looks competitive. It should do better than the a51.
I have used the a51 for close to 11 months now and I can say without a doubt that the archilles heel of the phone is the weak exynos chipset. It made the entire phone perform very badly in many areas. It literally slowed down my life.

great review of the Galaxy A51.... i actually own that phone. I've been enjoying it a lot. I guess im used to having crappy or mediocre cameras on my cellphones but, this has actually been the best one I've had (no complaints at all).

Very good review, I don't experience over heating at all or notice abnormalities temperature wise after falling asleep with my Phone playing TH-cam on Battery power.
I love this thing. Just bought the 128GB 6GB RAM version selling for $200 off - just on sale because the backing is blue.
Cheaper and better specs then a Pixel 4a. If you looking at a mid range good spec phones get it while you can!
I ordered a Spigen Tough Armor case for it - which is another underrated product that I'd put up there next to an Otterbox in durability.
How I wish I bought it at the initially, I would have be among the people enjoying the phone now

I think I prefer a50 better, I don't like the design on the back of the a51 giving that I like to use my phones without a case/pouch. Nice review tho, keep it coming!

Thanks! Unfortunately I haven’t used the P40 Lite but from specs the A51 seems to have a “slightly” better display and camera while the P40 Lite is better at battery life and charging speed with a slightly better processor. The rest are somewhat similar

Get the A50 there's isn't much difference and the A50 also gets Android 10 update and it's cheaper
A50, only real difference between these is the design
In terms of the phone hitting up when using a mobile hot-spot, I believe it all get down to the type of network carrier you are using. Example I have noticed that Glo network tend to make my phone hot when surfing or even sharing hot-spot, I believe it is struggling with spectrum wave or signal while when I slot in my 9mobile , I don't experience such. My thoughts thou
