I’m totally WFPB, as well as SOS free, however hubby is definitely not and I have to keep him out of it when it’s done. Stuffed peppers topped with Javant’s “spicy cheese” sauce? Mmmmmmmmm! This one looks like a winner as well, looking forward to trying it. I agree with a previous comment about how you get right down to it, no fuss, no muss. Just dang good cooking! Going to consider making this soon, for my n'bors (older lady & her handicapped son)... she's in her 90's & can't stand & cook anymore. They're from Tobago and eat spicy foods like this. I made the veggie ground first time 2 days ago bc someone gave me "shrooms, bc we don't buy/eat them usually. I left a comment ystdy while browsing your vanilla cake comments. I made my first DahlPuri for them last week. It was very tasty, & fun eating (I made a veggie curry for us to eat with it...they eat animal products). Also, they use a different kind of sweet potato. When I made a stew for them a few yrs ago, she laughed at me using "American Boniato". Same way they laughed when I made them carrot dogs with coleslaw, & homemade buns😄. I need what's called a tawa to cook the puri (she has one). It's all time-consuming when I don't usually cook those items for us. It's just an irregular gift. Thx for giving us inspiring ideas. I recently made a spaghetti sauce using a simple oil free marinara from the grocery store and your veggie ground and it was such a comforting dish. It was so well received that I noticed my elderly aunt (who is a generally picky eater) removing the sauce from spaghetti leftovers and excitedly putting it on a bun to make a “delightful meatball sub” as she put it. :) And last night made your tzatziki sauce in preparation for the meatball gyro we are so looking forward to trying. This looks really delicious. Don't have a food processor yet to make the veggie ground but I'll definitely make the lentils! Weight uodate: 26 1/2 lbs. 206 to 179.5. I'm so glad I saw your green smoothie back in October. That changed everything in an instant. I went cold turkey that same second on sweets, junk, flour and sugar. What a difference it makes just eliminating the foods that cause intense cravings!

This looks yummy! I noticed in the recipe ingredient list you had 1 jalapeno but I didn't see it in your video. I don't like things too spicy hot so I will leave it out. How spicy is this dish?
I opted out of adding jalapeno this time because I forgot to get it, but I usually add it to this dish. Without the jalapeno, the level of spiciness will depend on what brand of curry powder you use, some are spicier than others.
It's a very nutritious grain. My concern would be arsenic, so I would make sure it's sourced from an area where the levels are documented to be low. Personally, I just eat millet and quinoa instead.

I'm wondering if the flax isn't working for you because you put it in dry ,rather than putting in a tiny bit of water to get an egg like consistency?
The flax works for me just fine. The flax combines with the moisture from the veggie ground and comes together.
How long can i keep my veggie ground refregirated b4 making another batch ?
I suggest portioning it out and freezing it. That way you can thaw it for various meals
