Adrian Gutierrez u serious the game is horrible. Enemy’s glitch and servers get disconnected multiple times. The game is an unfinished mess. Don’t try to defend it. Expect more from Bethesda
Mark Bonikowsky started playing the trial they have this week, and it’s probably one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time. It is SO boring, and the AI is horrendous, which makes quests that do have combat 10x worse. I wish I could delete this game off of the Microsoft store.
You are right to be scared. It has already been confirmed that they are once again using the exact same engine from Skyrim, meaning shitty graphics, bugs, and terrible performance issues. And judging from the laziness they showed with making this game, I'm sure there won't be any improvements to the engine. The fact that the community put more effort into fixing their games than Bethesda themselves is a joke.

Yeah but also in this game there is a big ass map with so many places to explore...do you have the game? If so see u just going straight into the missions or are u going solo a bit? Have u been in deathclaw valley? Have u seen the flat woods monster? Scorched queen?
Well actually everyone is saying this since, or after Oblivion. Everyone except Bethesda. FO3, FONV, and Skyrim also had their weird bugs and gamebreaking moments due too an extremely old and poor engine. But guess what! Nothing will change. TESVI will also be in the same but "upgraded" engine.

I would honestly consider buying it, if it were on Steam. However, it is definitely not worth any extra effort on my behalf. No fancy alternate launchers, no Playstation Plus... I would consider buying the game for PC on Steam, almost exclusively for the environmental storytelling.
@@spartandelta2756 I hope you mean ''turning valves on with no animation or cool events whatsoever'' when you say environmental storytelling. Because not even nukes are properly working to honor that fancy name.
+Dark Starr Oh no, I mostly just mean exploring. There is alot in Fallout 76 for me to dislike. Even in Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 I tend to avoid real questing. Becoming an unbeatable death machine also does not really appeal to me, nor does the grind. Mostly I would just want to check out locations and get a general feel for the world. There would probably be very little for me in terms of a focused goal to achieve. In any case, as mentioned previously, the game would have to be available on Steam to garner any potential interest for me. Even then, there would likely be an extensive amount of research put in and questioning of preferred builds being feasable. Failing too many preferences would indeed leave the game as nothing but an unnecessarily expensive tour of a fictional land. That can be summarized as "I hate the game, but exploring the Fallout universe in another medium might be interesting under the right circumstances". No endorsement intended
Major difference too is, Hello Games looked at their burning crash of failure, picked it up, created some fucking awesome shit out of it in the meanwhile. And yeah, no matter what, it was refundable. No Cash n Grab, no DLC's, no Micotransactions. 100% The game. Still adding major updates today. Really makes you question why some games get good names while others don't.
Hello Games had also only made three games before No Man's Sky, all Joe Danger platform games. Bethesda made great open-world games before, hell Skyrim still kicks the crap out of most games now and it was released in 2011... It's embarrassing that Hello Games has their shit together more than Bethesda; if anything Bethesda needs to keep it's fan-base for upcoming games, whereas Hello Games could have just taken the money and run.

@Grandslam Gaz Now, being serious, is quite trashy to use r/woosh with my comment, to be honest. See, people like you just pick a joke that is great sometimes, and completely destroy its original meaning. I'm not the smartest person ever, but if I'm not wrong, you can only woosh someone if they get offended with a sarcastic post. The problems begin when people like you just use that Reddit with posts that aren't really sarcastic in the first place. In this case, the person who made this post about Fallout may have been sarcastic. However, there's also a chance that they did it as a fanboy. If you read my first comment carefully, you may see that I don't discard the possibility that the post was made sarcastically. Another problem is that a lot of users are using the r/woosh so many times that they are very predictable. Next time you want to woosh someone, remember to make sure that the main post is obviously sarcastic, and please, don't make it so predictable. Things like that completely kill the joke.

Mark Bonikowsky started playing the trial they have this week, and it’s probably one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time. It is SO boring, and the AI is horrendous, which makes quests that do have combat 10x worse. I wish I could delete this game off of the Microsoft store.

Scared for Elder Scrolls 6 now..

What's funny is Joe was the first one to say the engine was too old when fallout 4 released. Looks like they didn't listen to him then.
Matt Loverso right!
The engine is still gamebryo, the very engine that has haunted Fallout 3 and New Vegas
The worse joke of it all is that they plan to use this same engine in their future games.
Why don't they get a new engine?
This 40 min review was more fun than the whole fallout 76 game

This should just be the ultimate proof that they clearly know when a game isn't ready to be delivered. They probably planned everything beforehand too like giveaways etc
+Dark Starr
Oh no, I mostly just mean exploring.
That's why Bethesda didn't put 76 on steam. No refunds unlike No Man's Sky
Exactly.
Major difference too is, Hello Games looked at their burning crash of failure, picked it up, created some fucking awesome shit out of it in the meanwhile. And yeah, no matter what, it was refundable. No Cash n Grab, no DLC's, no Micotransactions.

Fallout 1 and 2 look better than Fallout 76. Everything in those games look like they belong together. Fallout 76 looks like a collection of recycled assets.
