That's what we were doing on the good stretches. On really bad roads it's difficult to ride more than an hour and a half or two. But that goes for all bikes. Won't talk about km in India since the same distance on different days can take different times @pramit541 We got an overall average of around 30-35 km/l, which included a large chunk in the mountains. We'd say that's pretty good.

did you rejet the bike to make the air fuel mix leaner? or is it the fuel injected version? I have the one without FI. any significant loss of acceleration at those heights?
yes sf is very capable. but you need to maintain your oil level and chain lub and engine heating in this bike so do it carefully. this bike iis very comfortable best of luck for your journey :-)
