I had my Gixxer for 4 years now, it now has a total of 97,000 kms in the odometer now, it still runs as good as when i got it new. Special thanks to this video that was one of those videos which convinced me to get Gixxer against the yamaha FZS. which launched in my country around the same year. Greetings from the Philippines. Now the new version of gixxer 150/250 are on the road, it was a compliment to their predecessor.
5 years & 50k kms completed with this beast and always I found something new. I have ride this in heavy rain, and what a grip & confidence it gives..just awesome..love this bike so much...

I was soo confused of the choices i had like hornet , fz, pulsar, gixxer and only after watching all the reviews of the above bikes in power drift i chose gixxer. after watching this video i made up my mind and went ahead to buy a gixxer and it is just fantastic and lives up to its name . only issue of the bike was rear drum brake and now v have a rear disc brake variant and i just went for it . thank u power drift

bike is overall good but pillion seat is really uncomfortable and slippery . especially while breaking hard pillion rider slides forward on the front rider.

Well there is one thing about this motorcycle..IT IS FAST!! It builds up speed like anything and in the 5th gear it can happily clock 85 at 7000 rpm. It is well ahead of the curve. I've just had a test drive of this awesomely built motorcycle and I'm honestly impressed by the bike. Cutting through traffic is a breeze and braking is extremely good. The back drum does prove inadequate but still the Brybre on the front more than compensates for that ( I almost did a stoppie!!). It is safe to say the GIXXER is now the reigning king of 150cc (Fun Factor alone). Kudos to PD for the review and Suzuki for the awesome bike.

Yes FZ is ruling the road from the previous times and also in present time but not more if you own a gixxer, there is just one issue FZ have a large customers from previous year and suzuki introduce gixxer at present time. IT will be same for suzuki if fz came after gixxer than many people go with suzuki rather than yamaha . Both the Bikes are awesome and ready to takeaway , it's your decision to take what you want go with fz as always and take a long test ride (not just 1/2 km) and decide PS:For language mistakes

when I see your videos it feels like an action movie or something, you definitely take great shoots but its kind of unrealistic if you will, at the end the main objective of a video review is to know the bikes characteristics and specs. (at least that what I am looking for on a video review of a bike) but no the show that comes along with your videos.

Hello... i have gixxer 155 BS3 version. I bought it in year 2015. Now I have completed 148000 km running. The bike is absolutely fantastic comfort, pickup and mileage is also good. Still I am getting mileage of 50 kmpl in city and 55 kmpl on highway. I am completely satisfy with gixxer. Only one drawback is the back seat is not that comfortable for ladies.

Same here.bought gsxr150 in 2016 i guess.bs3 model dual disc variant.still have it today.25k only on odo.just basic oil and filter changing..i love the reliability of the bike.And u have ridden 150k kms wow.

Hey guys... great review. My friend bought this bike yesterday from Suzuki Lajpat Nagar (New delhi),..its an awesome bike. That showroom has a huge LED tv dedicated only to play this Powerdrift review of Gixxer non stop from morning till the closing hours.

Gixxer is the bike which is well tuned and built regarding ride no other bike in this segment come close this bike till than gixxer has to be the king that throttle response is just mind blowing.This bike can be explained in one word FREEDOM
I bought gixxer 4 years back, ran on the highway, mountain, city, and countryside more than 45K. It corners well, pick up is nice and pulls really well, driving comfort for a rider is good and for pillion is it average (due to seat). The fuel economy is also decent. Overall It is a good bike, I liked it. There are some issues like hard gear shifts and instrument cluster, engine ignition restarts while driving in the rainy season. As per the service center, the key slot or key slot assembly has an issue but it didn't resolve after replacing it. And service center dudes have no idea how to fix this issue now. Service is not great as compared to rivals and maintenance, replacement of the part is costlier than Honda, Yamah. I have heard hard gearing issues with a few other owners as well. They have replaced some gear parts from the engine and chain-sprocket as well, but still, it is on the harder side.
The only channel I trust for reviews in india. Now, since you did the gixxer review, as I was waiting for it since its launch, I also am very confused b/w gixxer and fz fi. Going to purchase one of them this month. A Fz-Fi review and its comparison by gixxer is highly appreciated.
Firstly, like always - A very good review. I love the music you guys use and the camera angles. Would love to see the Camera Angles being explored a bit more especially the slow mo. Glad to see the way the 150cc market has come up. Suzuki can be leader with these innovatibe machines. A decade ago, when I had to choose a bike, I had nothing more than the P150 UG3 to choose from. Bajaj does make some good engines but the bikes overall are experimental. Parts - Suck! I've moved on from the 150cc to the P220 dts-i 5 years ago and desperately want to upgrade to a better bike, not just in terms of power but more importantly in terms of handling. Eagerly, impatiently waiting for the 250cc bike reviews. A humble request to review all the quarter litre bikes. My personal fav, is the Yamaha r25 and will be tuned in to see what you guys have to say about it. Also waiting to see if you guys can make videos regarding small mods that can enhance the experience of a bike from turning monotonous. Love PowerDrift... You guys have me hooked! :) Cheers! Hello... i have gixxer 155 BS3 version. I bought it in year 2015. Now I have completed 148000 km running. The bike is absolutely fantastic comfort, pickup and mileage is also good. Still I am getting mileage of 50 kmpl in city and 55 kmpl on highway. I am completely satisfy with gixxer. Only one drawback is the back seat is not that comfortable for ladies.

@@powerdriftofficial thank you.... also I had not done any big work during this 6 years... just regular servicing and changed chain wheel kit once at 60000 km and changed clutch plates at 1 lakh km.
Same here.bought gsxr150 in 2016 i guess.bs3 model dual disc variant.still have it today.25k only on odo.just basic oil and filter changing..i love the reliability of the bike.And u have ridden 150k kms wow.

I bought gixxer 4 years back, ran on the highway, mountain, city, and countryside more than 45K. It corners well, pick up is nice and pulls really well, driving comfort for a rider is good and for pillion is it average (due to seat). The fuel economy is also decent. Overall It is a good bike, I liked it. There are some issues like hard gear shifts and instrument cluster, engine ignition restarts while driving in the rainy season. As per the service center, the key slot or key slot assembly has an issue but it didn't resolve after replacing it. And service center dudes have no idea how to fix this issue now. Service is not great as compared to rivals and maintenance, replacement of the part is costlier than Honda, Yamah. I have heard hard gearing issues with a few other owners as well. They have replaced some gear parts from the engine and chain-sprocket as well, but still, it is on the harder side.
The only channel I trust for reviews in india. Now, since you did the gixxer review, as I was waiting for it since its launch, I also am very confused b/w gixxer and fz fi. Going to purchase one of them this month. A Fz-Fi review and its comparison by gixxer is highly appreciated.

Firstly, like always - A very good review.
I love the music you guys use and the camera angles. Would love to see the Camera Angles being explored a bit more especially the slow mo.
Glad to see the way the 150cc market has come up. Suzuki can be leader with these innovatibe machines. A decade ago, when I had to choose a bike, I had nothing more than the P150 UG3 to choose from. Bajaj does make some good engines but the bikes overall are experimental. Parts - Suck!
I've moved on from the 150cc to the P220 dts-i 5 years ago and desperately want to upgrade to a better bike, not just in terms of power but more importantly in terms of handling.
Eagerly, impatiently waiting for the 250cc bike reviews. A humble request to review all the quarter litre bikes. My personal fav, is the Yamaha r25 and will be tuned in to see what you guys have to say about it.
Also waiting to see if you guys can make videos regarding small mods that can enhance the experience of a bike from turning monotonous.
