    I have an 22' MT-07. I have been traveling the western US riding all over. I've put 18k miles on the bike in less than 1.5 years. This bike is bullet proof. I've road dirt, sand, mud and street. I'm just about to get my 3rd set of tires. Nothing but regular maintenance. So much fun and sounds amazing with an aftermarket pipe.

    I just traded in my 2021 MT07 for a ZX4RR. Oh what a difference. I rode it on the same country twisty's that I rode my 2021 MT07 on and what a surprise. I have 2 cruisers, one being a 2022 Heritage and the other a 2018 1200 Iron Sportster. I wanted something for a little more excitement so I bought an MT07. It was a fine bike but I just didn't think the parallel twins were all that sporty. They didn't sound like a bike that I liked. The torque comes on like a hammer and I'm not into wheelies. I like carving in the country and I have several roads around me, close that I carve. The ZX4RR is perfect for that. The difference between the 2 was amazing. I'm a very young 69 year old with over 50 years of riding experience. I owned a Ninja 600 E in my 40's and 50's. Beautiful bike and I loved it. But then I got a touring bike for me and the wife so I had to sell it. I've also owned an 09 Triumph Street Triple. I still have a big picture of it on the wall in my garage. I loved it but it was starting to leak oil so I traded it in on an M8 Street Glide. I digress. I wasn't getting the excitement out of the MT07 that I wanted but this ZX4RR seems to have been made just for me. I've only had one good day of riding besides riding it back 40 miles from the dealer. So this is the next morning and I couldn't sleep very well last night thinking about which road I was going to ride on the following day. I'm still excited to play with my new toy. I'm learning more and more about the KQS and riding mods. The Sport is really good but the Road mod seems better suited for around town for stop and go traffic. It seems the influencers are working with the motorcycle industries to promote parallel twins so they can save some production costs and make more money. I enjoy bikes that stirs the soul like the sound of a Harley and 4 and 3 cylinders. I also owned 2012 Bonnie. I still think the 360 degree sounds better then the 270 cranks. Especially with Predator exhaust British Custom. Maybe I should write a book. I'm just a rambling old man with lots of experience. My videos shows what a very young man I really am. Follow me on TH-cam. Yammy if you are ever in Kentucky let me know an we can do some riding together.

      @@prometheus9038 nice seeing you here again man! Thankyou for your suggestions on that video too. After watching this, I think I'll still go with the ZX4, as he mentioned at the end, it's the perfect bike for someone who wants the supersport style and sound but doesn't want the drawbacks like the ergonomics and the way too fast engines for the street, and I am a Kawasaki fan since childhood, my first love was a Ninja when I saw one when I was around 10 or 11, now that I'm turning 18 next year, I think this is the perfect choice for me.

    • @maxwesterdijkmw
      @maxwesterdijkmw ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@saigaikwad415 I personally also think that yammie completely misses the mark in this vid regarding the zx4. Its certainly not a beginner bike, at least not any less than most 600s from the 90s are. Its a full fletched supersport with less power so you can use more of the bike on the street

    Doing my UK motorcycle tests tomorrow and the day after. After training on the MT-07, I've found it very stable at low speed, a very smooth throttle and clutch, with oodles of torque. It will be my first big bike. It feels like a great beginner's bike, as long as you're sensible. The only quirks are the clunk getting into 1st and the tiny indicator switch.

    • @350zKiller

    But don't forget that you can do small simple upgrades to the mt-07 to make it better for instance bit a little thicker fork oil in the forks that will take away sponginess in the front and then put a smaller rear sprocket and that will take some of the torque away and add a little speed 😁 that's what I did to my bike and it works 😁

      Can you give some examples? Also, what is an acceptable mileage? I'd hate to immediately have the valves checked and potentially pay for a valve job. Also, beginners don't really know how a bike should run or sound... you'd think it would be impossible to test ride a used bike with 15k miles and immediately tell if the oil has never been changed right?

    $12K out the door for a starter bike......NOPE!!!!! Buy the ZX-6R instead for the $1K more.

    Passed my msf course today and I’m thinking about getting an mt07 . I’m 5”11 so I feel it it’ll be a very beginner friendly bike for me.

      Kinda sorta is.....with all the rider aids it's very beginner friendly, even for 15 year olds like me!!

      @@bihbrosgaming The MT07 has rider aids?

      @bihbrosgaming ปีที่แล้ว +26

      @liamcraven4936 sure does!
      Like TCS,ABS and lean sensitive ABS! Although I don't know if it has wheelie control

      @@bihbrosgaming It has basic ABS, but that's about it. Mine is an older model though, so I don't know if the newer ones do.

    Terrible comparison..🤨
    MT-07 vs Ninja400r would be a far better comparison match.

    i would have bought a new MT07 if it werent for the IMO retarded color scheme. i hate it. give me one in Yamaha blue and im a buyer. dunno why Yamaha felt the need to go cyan. i hope Yamaha sees this. note likely but hopeful.

    • @BrewProof

      FYI i went with a Kawasaki z900 in blue instead. far more attractive (and far more powerful) bike

    I can't believe anyone would waste $12,000 on a 400cc Shitbike.

    • @vengefulancient
      @vengefulancient ปีที่แล้ว

      Not 12K, but I'll gladly pay a premium for a ZX4R or a similar bike in the future over a 400cc twin. Sounds better, rides more fun, and it will be cheaper to register, insure, and most likely fuel than a 600+ cc.

    MT 07 is as boring as the twins from the past! ZX4RR is a bad ass motorcycle for the individual that loves advancement.
