If I win this bike I’ll lose my f**king mind
I've been daydreaming about this bike. This is my perfect starter bike. Hope I win 🫡😎
Link not working for me 😞
@@blakecrawford1584no one ever wins 😂😂
Thank you for this Yammie. My daughter has picked this particular bike as her first. She will be taking her MSF at the end of this year. I have shared this video with her to keep her excited. And yes, I am entering the contest in hopes of winning the bike for her.

Aww!! That's so sweet!! My mother is absolutely terrified of me riding, but helps me find gear and a comfortable motorcycle regardless. Mothers like you are gems.✨💞
She made the right choice. The 300 and 400 aren't aggressive style bikes. They're so smooth and great bikes for everyone, not just beginners. The bike is VERY forgiving. You shouldn't slam the breaks but if she does on this bike she won't get into trouble or flip her over the handlebars because of the ABS. Great bike. I have the 300 and I'm happy. I don't feel a need to get a bigger 600 bike. 300 or 400 is all I would need.
Yammie I just wanna say you inspired me to get my first bike.
Did u get a turbo busa 🤨

@@hyjnx what bike did u get then bro
What bike?
Just picked up a cbr600rr for my first bike... it's between me and jesus now...
Amen, pray and ask him to teach you!
Are you still alive? 😂
you good bro??
Lol this made me laugh. It’s exactly how I feel because I’m getting on this bike!!!!!
This made laugh 😂! You got this!
Who else is watching this a hundred million times in a row? 😂
Me because of this guys I bought my first bike 👌🏼
Right here😭
At 54 years old, I'm getting my first bike tomorrow!! On paper, I know how to ride but I don't have ANY experience actually doing it. I can ride a bicycle (LOL) and I've driven many stick-shift cars and trucks so I know the basic mechanics of the whole process. Seems to me that finding (and using) the sweet spot on the clutch is very important. I've watched several of your videos and found them very useful and informative. Now, I'm a subscriber. Thanks!!
How did it go? I'm buying my first bike next week and it's a Harley Davidson 883. I'm nervous because I've never rode either.
It went pretty well, maybe even easier than I expected. For me, it was mostly about getting my timing down with the clutch throttle and gear shifter. I get better every time I take it out.
Congratulations. I got my first bike at 40, hardly EVER rode it before selling the old ninja 250. Got my license last year at 48 & have a Ninja 300. Just starting to really ride now. Love it. Enjoy ma man!
@@mitchell3877How did it go?
Hi... Im 54 too and I bought my first bike last year four months ago. This is 125ccm and Ive got now 330 kilometers on it. Still learning on the streets in the traffic. Lots of fun and sweat 😁Drive safe. Best regards from Poland 🙂🤘🏻
I swear this is the perfect timing. I just got my first bike yesterday and will soon be riding it, I've been binging just about everything and this is just the video I needed! Thanks Yam 👍
What bike and how’s it going?
How is it going so far?
How’d it go bro?
Sorry for the late reply, time really flies! It sure hasn't felt like five months.
Due to living in Europe, I had to start off on a 125cc motorcycle. I lucked out and got one for super cheap and rode the thing every single day. There were good times, bad times and amazing times but with it I've now got enough skills to move onto a bigger bike! I bought a 2009 Yamaha FZ-6, which is just awaiting insurance before I can go and ride it. It's been quite the journey!
How is the process to learn? I wanna learn how to drive it so bad !
Just went through all that 2-3 weeks ago. The main thing the class told me was that I need to practice, particularly tight u-turns. I have a deposit down on a motorcycle that after I have a couple of parts installed, I'll have delivered to me so I don't go on the highway/interstate right away. I'll be practicing in my neighborhood and local park parking lot and then advance to commuting to work once I feel comfortable enough. That Ninja 400 would be a great complimentary bike to the one I have on hold.
That’s why I want my first bike I want something to commute to work to save on some fuel
@@XxSniperFiendxXI just want to look cool 😎
As someone who wants a sick bike some day, I found this video EXTREMELY helpful and simple to understand. Def gonna be rewatching to make sure I remember all the bike controls and the tips to get used to these badass machines 💯🙏🏽
Same I've been wanting one for a while I'm gonna start practising soon so this video was helpful for me too I think it helped everyone pretty much😂
As someone who's never drove a motorcycle this has been the best intro video I've seen so far.
Started learning a month ago on my friends bike, two weeks later I bought a 2013 Ninja 300 for 2500, new tires, sprocket, chain, and a lot of other things later. I am riding and “chilling”. I haven’t taken my msf course mostly because they don’t have any classes, but I have great friends letting me use there bikes and teaching me all the good habits of a safe rider!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial breakdown for beginners like me. I just bought my first bike. (‘07 Yamaha 650) and learning to ride. This was much needed for me.😌
Perfect video for beginners, all basic steps included and simple. Thank you for the awesome content!
BEST instructional video yet ! you guys did such a great job explaining exactly what you guys where doing. 💯
This is so detailed man, thank you so much
I'm having such a blast with my Iron 883. Setup perfectly for me and has perfectly balanced power and is such a raw ride and you can feel everything you're doing. I appreciate that alot more than I thought I would. At the same time it's not rough at all or too buzzy and vibratey it's just right and super enjoyable. I'm alot better than I was when I started a month ago but still have weaknesses I need to practice more on and other skills I wanna really hone. I will be practicing in the parking lot every weekend on my slow speed skills.
Thank you for this!! I started my new rider course and experience the ride yesterday and have my classes in a couple weeks! This is literally my dream!!
Great video!! A follow up with changing gears/downshifting into corners would be nice.
I've been watching you for years. I've been thinking of getting a bike soon but most likely next year and you were the first stop to really learn how to legitimately ride.
Thank you for this introduction to motorcycle controls and basic to riding. It was very informative.
So grateful for this video!!! I've been wanting to get a bike but overwhelmed with how much there is to learn. This makes every step easier to digest! I'm so happy to jump in 💖
Absolutely fantastic video!! Makes me much more ready to learn on my own bike. Thank you
Oh my goodness thank you guys so much I've been trying to find a video to help me understand more and I finally did. THANK YOU! ❤❤❤
Great video. Shifting from first to second and what one does with ones feet in that situation was not covered but other than that, loved it.
Can we get a video on how to properly wash a motorcycle?
Just bought a bike yesterday. Love this video! Can't wait to start learning!
This bike color looks absolutely amazing,
My MSF course is literally tomorrow this is so perfectly timed
Love how you guys explains everything in detail
Looking forward to riding man can’t wait wait
thank you yammie , i just practiced for a few . as a first time rider all of your instructions really helped me a ton . my first bike is a 1200cc harley (i know its alot for a first timer). i really appreciate the tutorial and it has helped me greatly, not as scared to be behind a set of bars anymore
Thank you so much! This is the best video I have ever seen. I have been wanting to get me a bike. Again, thanks again.
Getting my first bike because of you next week. Thanks for all the epic content. 👊
Omg do you have it now?
Which one did ya got?
I found this channel because I wanted to learn more, while I'm working on my drivers license. still learning, and I can really tell this video barely covers how to get started as a complete newbie, with no background on MC at all
I grew up with with at least 1 MC owned within my family all the time, now there's 4 working (incl. my bike) and 2 very rare veterans in parts in the garage at my moms house 😂 also, I tried trial MC a few times when I was 8 y/o
This helps a lot, me and my friend are currently looking to both get bikes to ride together in the future shortly. So I’m happy I came across this!
I'm so happy you made a video like this i needed this thank you so much can you please make another one but alittle longer
Yammie, you and your selection of videos catered to beginners are without a doubt the largest factor for my Squidlife crisis. Couldn't live with the Daytona ergonomics, but the new Street Triple was perfect, best financial reckoning I've ever committed to.
Glad y'all did this tutorial with this exact bike I just looked at it in the Killeen motorsports on Wednesday.
*step 1 waddleing doesn't work for us short guys bro so we'll skip step 1*
I was thinking that would be hard for me, 5’1” life rip
Tough
yea im 5'5 need to waddle on my toes
The best video I’ve ever watched . Super confident now
Dude just bought my first bike and this is beyond helpful before my MSF course! Thank you.
Thanks for the knowledge!
Because of your channel I came back to riding a motorcycle...thanks Yammie!
Thank u my friend just got my bike and your video really really helped me throughout my first day✌️🤙
This was really informative, i'm feeling really confident now. I taught myself manual on a car and would like to avoid that again. It was really rewarding but i'd rather just start with knowledge this time haha
It’s been almost a year since I took my MSF course and I’m getting a bike tomorrow for my test so I’m just making sure I am refreshed on it. Thank you!!
Yay, Papa Yam teaching us his wisdom. :)
I loved the part about *Power Walking*. I'm completely a newbie so this really helped. Seen many other videos so far but just loved it here.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to help newbies like me. I'm going to take my class this weekend and was pretty nervous, but after watching this video, I feel really good. thanks again
How did it go bro ?
@issue2816 it went well. I passed, and now I've been learning and riding.
Thank you for the video.I learned a lot now I need to go and purchase a bike and apply the new skills .
Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏
Thank you!! Very informative 😊
i just got my shadow 750 and this is very helpful. thank you
Found this super helpful as I wanna learn to ride a bike
This is such a useful video, thank you very much!! 💛
Thnx for the refresher Yam, today is my 1st ride to work (1st ride ever).
Plan on getting the BMW r19 cafe racer as my first bike,
Fast enough to have fun with and I've heard that it's pretty good handling,
Thanks for the inspiring video.
so calming dude...woah...and they say yammie is a hyped person...but here he is just calm and brandon calm...
Glad to have found this channel! I ve been interested in learning how to ride for quite awhile and I’ve recently decided now is the time. I plan to do the beginner and safety course this summer and hope to be comfortable and competent enough to buy my first bike which will b a ninja 400. I’ve located quite a few in the used market place in the area which is awesome. Lookin forward to following you
UK here. Started at age 12 in 1977, a Honda C50 in farmers fields, small roads between fields and the village i lived in. then a bike with gears and clutch, by the time i was 16 (road legal in UK), i had many thousands of hours riding bikes on and off road. i found road legal riding really bloody easy and passed my test 1st time. lots of fun for us kids when we was teens.
V similar here, 1974-77 went from FS1E to CB250K4 then CB750/4 K2. Totally natural back then, full of confidence, Now getting back onto it and zero confidence BUT the tip to practice for at least 2 days is great ie doesnt make me feel like that is abnormal so will be doing that. Years of driving cars takes all the natural balance/skill sets away, though the one thing that remains is to watch the road surface all the time and treat every other road user and pedestrian as a complete idiot.
I just used TH-cam to learn how to ride and practiced for a while then went to the dmv on my bike passed the skills test easily and had my endorsement since and that was 3 years ago, helped that I started on a Kawasaki z400 great learning bike
thank you yammie this video helped me buy a 17 r6 from the dealership and make me look like i know what i was doing even tho i have never rode a bike like this ever
Thank you for teaching us how to use a motorcycle. I'm looking at getting a Suzuki gsx 250 to learn on but I have no idea how to ride, nor do I have people to teach me. I'm only looking at motorcycles because I'd love to ride, but the gas prices are horrendous nowadays so I'm hoping to get a motorcycle to learn on soon.
This has answered a few of my questions on how to get started to fingers crossed I now have a better time learning when I get there.
Welcomw and Thank you very much for Making this video Tom!!
Thanks for this video👍🏼
thank you guys
Amazing video for first timers! You guys are the bomb!
I would love it if these beginner videos explained the difference between a car clutch and a bike clutch…. Coming from a manual car I’m used to getting off the clutch ASAP instead of slipping it to get going like you can on the bike.
Thank you soooo muchhh so informative ❤❤
Thanks a lot for this video. Now I've learnt a lot from you. Thank you ❤❤
I wish I could feel that special excitement getting on a motorcycle for the first time again. Ride safe eveyone
Thank you so much. You guys made it simple.
perfect beginners video ❤❤❤
Awesome video, well done mate - from Brisbane, Australia.🇦🇺👍
Best instructors & guide...!!!
This is a great video I’m in the market for a bike and I didn’t want to get one without knowing something this was super helpful
I've always wanted to start riding and learn so this will be a big help for it❤
I just bought a drz400sm as my 1st bike! I'm so happy
🎉you guys are awesome im definitely saving this one .
Great stuff yammie
Nice introduction into riding 👌
I’m getting my first sport bike tomorrow, cant wait!
Yammie you really born for this I’m just want to say I bought a 2023 Ninja 400 and don’t have it yet because is coming in a couple of days! But men this video is going to help me a lot! 👍 thanks!
Can you make a part two about counter steering, taking turns, downhill, uphill type situation?
Thank you so much for this! Im starting my BRS next month and im so scared/nervous of dropping my bike and making a fool of myself because I know next to nothing about how it operates. So again, thanks!
Mini little update! Passed the course perfectly, and I now am the owner of a cbr 600rr!
Right on Yammster and friends
Those Revit shoes the rider has on are 🔥
Brother!!! Im a little squid!! Picking up my first bike today.. 2020 MT-07! Watching your videos definitely motivated me and helped me feel a bit more comfortable! Lets hope everything goes well!! You're the man!!
Yammie you inspired me to buy my first turbo busa ❤
When I was a boy machines like this were classed as being mid-sized.We learned the basics off road on 100 cc two strokes. We learned a lot.
I am actually going to be taking the msf class in October and the rider's course at the end of October. I didn't know what to expect, and I like that this video was available. Now, I'm not so anxious about what we'll be doing when we actually mount. I just pray they have a small bike for me cause I am short, 5ft. I have sat on honda rebel, and kawasaki Vulcan and those two bikes were the only ones I could comfortably get on and into riding position. I haven't seen any 400's.. maybe I will look around and see if I can touch the ground on that. Thanks for your video.
A honda grom might fit you
Did you pass??
Great job Brandon and yammie
