I love seeing the love for the CB650R!! Have had mine for 2 summers now and I am still in love. It’s perfect for me. Don’t see selling it for a long time!
Tuono 660 is one of the nicest riding, fun, comfortable bikes I've ever ridden. Sits a little tall, but corners like a dream. Just took it to Eastern Tennessee for a weekend in the mountains & I don't think I could have had more fun on anything, bar none.
i bought a cb650R based upon your 2019 video ans still to this day think its one of the best nakeds ive ever ridden. absolute blast and for mild track/highway/city riding it seems to be one of the best can do it all bikes. granted the price is a bit spicy but it seems honda likes to be high on price but with the fit and finish you get from it ive never looked back so for that one i have poppa yam to thank.
I rode the 2021 890 Duke R and the 2021 MT09 SP back to back. MT 09 feels like a performance minivan and the Duke feels like a proper sports car. MT is big, fat and heavy, stable on the highway and is a straight line bike. Duke is comfy enough to daily but is a waaaaay more fun bike to rip on. Pretty different bikes. MT sound is superior but not really comparable performance wise.
I’m not sure if “way more reliable” is accurate. KTM’s of today do not have the reliability issues of the past and are approaching Japanese levels. When comparing the Mt09 sp there is an assumption that the owner would be concerned about performance. And in performance the MT is not comparable. It’s like putting fancy suspension on a Toyota Camry, at the end of the day a Camry is not a performance car. Wrong dimensions, geometry and is too heavy just like the MT. Still fun but not when compared to something designed to perform. Comfort was never the design intention, Duke is out of the box performer. Just ride the two back to back, it’s obvious.
I love my 2022 GSX-S750 Got it for $13000 NZD and I am currently getting a quickshifter installed as well as a flash for my full system. Can't beat the price, especially for a normal rider.
@@abhishektakhar7 not in the slightest. Has the horsepower of a 600 with more torque. Sounds amazing. Handles like a dream and makes me feel like a better rider than I am. I love it. I’ve put about 7500 miles on it now and have no plans to get rid of it any time soon
The Triumph Trident definitely should be higher on this list! I would take it over the MT 07 any day! The suspension is so much better on the Trident than the 07 and the triple is peppy and fun engine!
I LOVE my 50th anniversary Z900. After a fender eliminator, some bar end mirrors, and a new slip on....she looks gooooood. Btw...the stock pipe is heavy AF. Its a noticeable difference in performance just loosing the weight of the stock pipe. Went cheap and bought the amazon "iStunt" shorty slip-on. Bruh....it sounds REALLY good for a pretty good price. Sounds better than pipes for 3x+ the cost. I love my bike and wouldn't trade it!
The Stripple is not a good track bike. It's a performance roadster that isn't aerodynamic and makes it's power more similar to the MT09 albeit much smoother.
@@englishsteel-nz6im I don’t do sport bikes. I can’t deal with the ergonomics. The Street Triple is like the common ground where it’s close enough to aggressive, but spaced out enough for me to be comfortable pushing it to it’s limits. The fueling, brakes, suspension, and power band is why I’d choose it over my MT-09 for the track if I didn’t already own my bike. Also it’s really popular for the track so there’s a lot of kits to put aero on it. Basically it’s cheaper to turn into a track bike because it’s closer to a sport bike.
@@Love4boost The ergo's on sport bikes are actually not uncomfortable if you're in shape and know body positioning and how to balance the weight, but if not they're ruthlessly uncomfortable. Not the best street bikes for sure, but the Stripple isn't a track bike I don't care if people track them--- people track anything, it's not a track bike like an actual race replica is. The Stripple is a fabulous canyon carver tho and general street bike, corners very well unlike the MT09. I have a SuperSport and a Sport naked--- the SuperSport on track is next level to any upright bike and that's primarily what I use it for, but taking it out for a canyon rip is also not painful like people make it out to be see above.
The MT-09 stinks. It’s like sitting on grandmas old wooden rocking chair from the 1800s. The seat is terrible. The throttle is terrible. Fuel gauge is terrible. Ugh I will never ride one ever again.
I got my Z650 for $6k OTD (holdover), so I can't complain. I actually find it's more power than I need these days, and I may end up dropping down to the 400/500 class. I'm just waiting to see what happens with the ZX-4R. I still ride my Grom 4-5x more often than the Z. Coming from GSXR600 and GSXR1000 bikes nearly 20 years ago, I know how quickly the power can get someone like me into trouble!
@@ChrisW-fj8btHoldovers you can get for a STEAL. I got a 2020 ninja 400 with abs in 2021 for 4200 out the door *cash* while the 2021s were 5800 otd at the same dealership
The best if maintenance isn't a concern is the Tuono 660. All around.... the GSX-S750--- no way it's #13 with the limp noodle Z650 and Trident. Anybody that's ridden one(ride it before listing a review Yammie) knows how balanced it is and how well it shreds corners unlike a lot of competitors including the MT09.
Tuono 660 is expensive to repair just like most other European bikes to bad many of the bike I want look at like GSX-S750 Redel 1100 Non DCT and other were not available at the time in September 2022 so I endup with Z650 and i enjoy ride it
Yeah. As a gsxs750 owner. I defiantly think Yam needs to actually ride one. If I wasn't all the way up in Oregon I'd bring it to him to ride. xD Mine does have a full exhaust, upgraded intake and a moore mafia tune though.
Yeah but as a competitor... It's heavier than the rest of the big four. Plus the rest have an advantage in electronics, the S750 has a little "old" feeling with the LCD little Black and white screen and little electronic aids. I love the sound and the price but I also do understand why the S750 is below the SV650 and the MT-09. I still would sell one of my kidneys to own a gixxer S750 tho lol.
@@Mr_Phoskitos despite being the heaviest the group review I watched (Motorcyclist maybe?) said the GSXS 750 was the best in cornering against the Z900 and MT09, they said it felt more buttoned down. The GSXS may not be the fanciest but it’s a very good performance bargain. Still would get the new XSR900 over one though
Really solid list. Had the balls to put the Trident 660 and Mt07 where they belong, and showed some love to the hidden gem that is the CB650R. Love it! But…. The Tuona 660 is not a “Naked” bike.
@@martinpribanic683 I mean it's not fully faired like a actual supersport. But it has too much amount of fairings to be called naked middleweight. Fairings in bikes mean the outer plastics or fiber that is used to make the bike more aerodynamic.
Nvm, realizing how ridiculous this list is when the CF Moto paid plug is listed in between the badass GSXS750 and Z900 bikes and 2 below the legendary Street Triple LOL
I’ve had the mt09 but sold it for the Street triple RS. The Street triple is a much more defined bike with quality and much more soul and confidence. While the mt09 is more of a wheelie bike with much power down below.
You just have to ride the duke890r, the most fun I've ever ridden. Great assemblies, all the technology, just a really amazing tool. By the way I don't have one so I'm not biased lol
I did a flash on the Trident 660 and modified the throttle position so you dont have to twist it as far. Feels much more peppy than before and very enjoyable.
Just test-ridden both new z900 and MT09 recently (to replace my SV650). And the Z900 is SOOOO much better than the MT09 overrated bike. I honestly do not understand this video's ranking. The Z900 is much smoother, feels better in handling, build quality, sound. I Only prefered the MT09's riding position a bit more, but overall the Z900 was a clear win for me. Plus, the MT09's quickshifter is very, very bad.
“Yea”, you got it right all the way. So many totally fantastic bikes we have to choose from, means everyone should find something to fill their desires. The MT09 however is just a step ahead of all the others. I don’t even have a problem with the looks anymore. It just does everything well and spunky is its middle name. At 78 it will probably be my last motorcycle and I am OK with that as my last will have been my best.
I bought a new 2024 Z650 for my first bike and have been thrilled to death with it. Being the worst bike on his list, can't wait to see what I'm missing when it's time for an upgrade (not any time soon). If I'm this happy with the bottom of the barrel, the future looks good.
MT07 $8199, that's assuming you don't live in California. With all the crazy fees we have this bike is around $10800 out the door. Got some pricing on it a couple of weekends ago. I consider that to be a lot of money for a naked 600cc bike.
Honestly my Ninja 650 was perfect. (ER-6F). It was comfortable had that sporty look and since it’s practically the same as the ER-6N i’d argue it’s a naked bike that just got the fairing treatment. It’s sporty and confortable for a daily commute. And it’s incredibly great for touring as well wich is in my experience rare. There’s not just many bikes that let you tour that comfortably of that class. There just isn’t. But since the ER-6F has fairings i’ll give it to the ER-6N cause that is the true naked variant of it despite being literally the same exact bike with less fairings. It’s a highly underrated beast of a motorcycle that just works. I have never experienced a better all around type of bike wich simply makes it a brilliant choice no matter what category you’re looking at. As for the Yamaha MT series, that is easily amongst the worst bike i’ve ever ridden. I mean yes it performs better than the Honda CB series, but the quality and comfort is just non-existent. If you can’t ride confortably then enjoying the ride easily becomes a lot more difficult. It sucks, but it is the truth and it needed to be said. Either way i have now taken a step in a different direction and i’m now a happy owner of a GL 1800 GoldWing.
What happened to the MV Agusta 800 dragster. I was that guy and bought a liter bike right off and managed to total it. I purchased a MV Agusta dragster 800 after that and I have fallen in love with it. Yes, some aftermarket parts and work are done, but this is the most incredible bike I have ever been on. 148 hp 75 lbs of torque at right around 400lbs. This is a true middleweight naked and it is incredible, I can't believe it didn't even make your list. This is a way better bike than most of the ones you named in this video. Give MV some props, yes they are expensive, but they are fantastic bikes.
If you like a slim agile bike I think the Z series beats all the MT series bikes. I personally will give up some performance in the motor to gain performance in the ride. Just my personal preference.
Honestly, it's never easy to pick a "best of" anything as taste, wants and needs are always subjective. But if it's just based on the fun factor which I think it's all about, I'll take the Monster all day long.
I’m excited to see how much this list changes with the 2023 bikes coming out. Between Honda’s Hornet and CFMOTO putting out the KTM 790 Duke at a discount price, this list may be outdated a month after it’s released.
Bought a CB650R as my second bike thanks to Yam! Absolutely in love with it. Awesome looks, amazing soundtrack from that inline 4. Powerband is very forgiving too. Easy to live with down in the rev range for a more relaxed commute, but rev it up high and its a whole different animal for when its time to have some fun. Still can’t get over those 4 sweeping headers 😍
the z900 stock dynos 114-116hp to the wheel typically, and the z900rs dynos 97-99hp to the wheel. this is an objective number and can be researched on most tuning websites. i did a lot of research before buying my z900, and it came down to that and the mt09. after riding those two, i went with the z900 because it felt sportier and smoother. i know you do stuff like this to get more participation in the posts but giving people the wrong info isn't cool.

I can see how you come away thinking the Street Triple is too serious, especially given the price, but I certainly think it’s better than the 890 duke which is, yes arguably more fun, but is also a very serious bike. I appreciate your insight and measured opinion and not simply choosing the fastest machine as the “best”. I’d have to disagree as I’d put the mt09 below my Street Triple as I cross shopped them coming from am fz07 and didn’t love the motard seating position of the Yamaha. Given what I do with it, it didn’t make sense to be sitting up perfectly straight. Solid video though, hopefully I can ride a tuono one of these days!
Same here. Coming from FZ-07, I really lusted after Tuono 660. Then I test rode both the Street Triple RS and the Tuono 660 back to back and I am not in love with Tuono any more. Street Triple handles so much better, it's not even close. And I hate the fully upright position on MT-09 - the bars are set so high and due to the tank shape, its not clear if it could be fixed with clipons.
@@dr1143 Adding clip-ons to a naked bike doesn't always make sense because the seating position and rear-set placement becomes a point on contention. The low peg height makes for a relaxed seating position. On my STRS, the pegs are set somewhere in between a upright naked and a sport bike making it a bit of a compromise but still quite comfortable for me. And being leaned over enough to fight wind at 80mph on the freeway is nice. And the seat has a lot of room to choke up on the tank if I'm in town between stoplights. That along with the premium facets makes it a dream for daily rides and weekend rips alike. Coming from the budget fz/mt series of bikes, this feels like a more sophisticated machine which is what I was looking for without the Ducati price tag.
The problem with including the Ducatis and Triumph Speed Triples in the mix is that you are entering a completely different price bracket from the Japanese entrants....they had better be the best given the significant premium paid for them....of course this speaks well for the MT-09....I find that old guys like me value the linear aspects of bikes like the Z900 and F900R over the quirky hooligan aspects of the MT-09, however it is an awesome bike.
I've heard so much goodness about the Tuna 660 but I'm still hesitant to convert since all my biker friends who one owned or still own an Aprilia were spending more time in the shop and garage than on the street. They've had bad luck with costumer service and the whole package. So I'm very hesitant. Otherwise a great list.
I know it's more of the upper weight class (being a 1000cc boi), but the old yamaha FZ1 is an awesome bike as a naked bike. I know the terminology on what defines an FZ1 goes everywhere (especially in North America lacking the N variant), but I live in Canada and I have an FZ1 converted into the euro style naked bike, and I love it. I don't have alot of expierence on other bikes (it's my second bike), but my father does and he's ridden MT09s, Mt07s, Z900s and much more, and he thoroughly enjoys the bike too. Awesome inline 4 sound, 998ccs with 150hp stock, and can make significantly more simply by tuning and ditching that factory exhaust (saves like 20 pounds aswell lol). The seating position is slightly more aggressive, but very comfortable and easy to ride on. The seat definitely needs to be changed from factory for long distance riding, and you can't keep the stock generator because they yknow blow up. Other than that, really reliable genesis 5 valve (gen 2 bikes, 06-14) and really fun bike and I've loved every minute riding it. I love my gen 2 and I doubt I'll ever sell the bike
You have been unfair to the GSX-S750 and did admit you haven't ridden it yet . The motor is a beauty and the stock suspension although very basic handles the twisties with great control. Please ride it and I think you will see it doesn't deserve it's 13th place rating . Front brakes are strong and provide great feed-back also .
Hi i have a mt07 and yess, that price is a little too high but as a bike my only complain is the dangerous front suspencion and not having quickshifter, i just installed on and i love it so much!! In my opinion the best midweith bike is definitely the mt09 sp.
The problem with the SV650 is that it's underpowered. 70 something horsepower is not enough and taking it to the track is silly with that little power.
I have a 2022 mt07 and I love it. Got some mods on the way for it but yes I have to agree with your choice on the mt09. I haven’t ridden it but looking at specs and price I woulda been better off getting the 09. Just wasn’t available around me. Great list love the videos 👍
The mt09sp has kyb front suspension. But it is most def the best naked out there for the price, performance and tech. Cannot no have fun on it, no matter where u go(exept offroad, iknow, dont ask.)
The mt09 would sell a lot more if it wasn’t so ugly. The tuono not being so naked is my favorite part about it. There is no rule saying naked bikes have to look like robot bugs
Aches to see my Street Triple - that I love to bits - at #10, but I get the logic. For the sake of completeness, the list misses BMW F900R (IMO ranks between Suzuki GSXS 750 and Triumph Trident), Duke 790 (Somewhere between Street Triple and Streetfighter), MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR, MV Agusta Brutale. Guess 2023 will add GSX-8S and Honda Hornet 750. And you realize what a competitive field this is.
No way Yammie, no love for the real Italian biscottis. No mention of MV’s Brutale or Dragster’s. Y’all’s friends at Eurocycle can’t be happy with that lol.
Thank you. FinallyMT 09 gets recognition. I absolutely love my 2021 base model. I put the Puig sport screen on it, Akra exhaust, DNA high flow air filter and a tune. It is so much fun to ride. My step up is going to be the MT 10.
Middle weight has two categories, Upper and Lower middle weight. The tuono 660 factory is the king for the Lower middle weight and the Mt09SP is the king of the upper middle with the Duke in a close second for sure.
Alright. Now out of these what do you suggest for a first street bike? I’ve decided I want a middleweight naked bike and would prefer to stay below 8k for the price. Been eyeballing the mt07 but that Honda cb650r looks pretty clean too.
I loved my extremely nimble SV650 now I’m thinking the MT is the way to go. I am curious about the naked Indian scout with 111 hp liquid twin.what would you have scored it out of 1 of 10 if you don’t mind me asking?
It's difficult when you lump so many styles of bikes into one category. Some of these bikes like the STRS or Tuono 660 are really track bikes while others are more like overdone super motos... if you lean one way or the other then you will most likely disagree with yammies list. For the record, I have a 2020 RS and a deposit on a new RS Moto2... that's my choice of the current bunch of "naked" bikes.

I got the Duke 890 R 2022 EU as my first bike, and it is amazing.. so glad didn't get the Duke 390.
Same it’s a badass bike
Yammie: No Neo retro bikes on this list .
Also Yammie: Here's the CB650r right in the middle of the list.
That’s cause it’s a sport naked bike with neo cafe racer aesthetics. It’s not an actual neo cafe bike

Surprised it was so high on this list
That's just Honda's naked bike, as it's all they have

I got my Z650 for $6k OTD (holdover), so I can't complain. I actually find it's more power than I need these days, and I may end up dropping down to the 400/500 class. I'm just waiting to see what happens with the ZX-4R.
I still ride my Grom 4-5x more often than the Z. Coming from GSXR600 and GSXR1000 bikes nearly 20 years ago, I know how quickly the power can get someone like me into trouble!
Bought it recently for $6K?

My only complaint is I think the 890 R should be second. I rode one and it was an amazing bike.
Tuono 660 is expensive to repair just like most other European bikes to bad many of the bike I want look at like GSX-S750 Redel 1100 Non DCT and other were not available at the time in September 2022 so I endup with Z650 and i enjoy ride it
If I'm not mistaken, I think he said he never even rode the 750.
Why?
It's pixilated

Nvm, realizing how ridiculous this list is when the CF Moto paid plug is listed in between the badass GSXS750 and Z900 bikes and 2 below the legendary Street Triple LOL
I’ve had the mt09 but sold it for the Street triple RS. The Street triple is a much more defined bike with quality and much more soul and confidence. While the mt09 is more of a wheelie bike with much power down below.
Got a 890 Duke non R very happy with it. Puts a smile on my face everytime. Good to tour with aswell. Love the videos
I was looking at getting an Aprilia RS 660 for my next bike and the fact that you like the Tuono so much pretty much seals the deal.
Do it.
I’ve had three SV650. Loved every one of them, even more than my current Bonneville.
I switched from the 890R to the SFV2 and I'm so happy I did it, especially now that I got the akra installed :)
You just have to ride the duke890r, the most fun I've ever ridden. Great assemblies, all the technology, just a really amazing tool. By the way I don't have one so I'm not biased lol
I had an MT09. Just so light, upright, and comfortable (if you get the comfort seat). I'm old. Yes, but just so much fun for so few $$.
I did a flash on the Trident 660 and modified the throttle position so you dont have to twist it as far. Feels much more peppy than before and very enjoyable.
What did you use and how much did it cost? Asking for a friend
Yam, wtf bro. Only a 6/10 for the street triple, my simpafeelings are hurt right now. 6? Wtf?! Too serious? Man, you’re something else today sir.
I think the Gsx 8s deserve a place in the list...
Hypermotard. Not the best value but super fun, lots of safety and tech. Just stupid expensive. I love it.
Loving my MT09SP (2023), so much low down power, yet still flickable and light.
I love my KTM 890 Duke R. Best bike in this group.
MT 09 torque and fun factor is addictive..
I love the 890 r but I laughed at the fact that they used a old one and not the 2022 colors
Yammie you must ride the Gsx s750 an tell us what you really think !
Gen 2 Mt09 here. Couldn't be happier. Commute, hoon, whatever. Throw on the normal mods and she's perfect.
Video ends right after yam mentioned the first gsx750
I bought a new 2024 Z650 for my first bike and have been thrilled to death with it. Being the worst bike on his list, can't wait to see what I'm missing when it's time for an upgrade (not any time soon). If I'm this happy with the bottom of the barrel, the future looks good.
KTM 890R - The most fun you can have on a street bike and play the always fun, "I'm trying not to lose my license" game. Good Luck
Just bought my... 2013 KTM Duke 690 barn find 2 weeks ago. Only had 400 km on it. Very fun.
Love your videos
I’m with you, waiting for the Agusta brutale and dragster?!
If you like a slim agile bike I think the Z series beats all the MT series bikes. I personally will give up some performance in the motor to gain performance in the ride. Just my personal preference.
I bleed orange with my 890GP and your right. It's very much so not serious. The punch is everywhere in the rpm.
Honestly, it's never easy to pick a "best of" anything as taste, wants and needs are always subjective. But if it's just based on the fun factor which I think it's all about, I'll take the Monster all day long.
I’m excited to see how much this list changes with the 2023 bikes coming out. Between Honda’s Hornet and CFMOTO putting out the KTM 790 Duke at a discount price, this list may be outdated a month after it’s released.
that cfmoto 800nk is the prettiest bike out of all of them on this list point blank, hope its gonna be cheap tho
The Trident and the CB are the best looking for me.

the z900 stock dynos 114-116hp to the wheel typically, and the z900rs dynos 97-99hp to the wheel. this is an objective number and can be researched on most tuning websites. i did a lot of research before buying my z900, and it came down to that and the mt09. after riding those two, i went with the z900 because it felt sportier and smoother. i know you do stuff like this to get more participation in the posts but giving people the wrong info isn't cool.

Different strokes for different folks. I ride a 2002 V twin and a 2008 inline 4, nice to have two that are very different. Lots of money saved every year after the loans were paid off.

YN, I own a 2020 890 Duke R with track pack. Glad to bring it to Austin if you would like to do a demo ride/video.
Otherwise a great list.
shop fixes and cost for oil changes not to mention more in price.
Gotta love that KTM 890R. If servicing wasn't a bitch in my area, I'd definitely own a KTM
Love my GSX-S750! I love the lack of tech. It just me and the machine!
It has ABS and Trac Control, the z900 and mt09 bases didn't for years lol
If it werent for Tuonos, I'd be all up into FZ1s. Such a great package.
The MT-09 SP unfortunately doesn't feature Öhlins front suspension, only rear shock. Kinda sad but I guess the price makes up for it.
Glad to see you put the CF 700xcl on your list.
Glad that in 2023 Triumph are making some great bikes now.
hey yammie, are you gonna do the same type of video for sportibikes?
I have a 2022 mt07 and I love it. Got some mods on the way for it but yes I have to agree with your choice on the mt09. I haven’t ridden it but looking at specs and price I woulda been better off getting the 09. Just wasn’t available around me. Great list love the videos 👍
I have an mt09 20’ absolutely love it just no cruise control
The mt09sp has kyb front suspension. But it is most def the best naked out there for the price, performance and tech. Cannot no have fun on it, no matter where u go(exept offroad, iknow, dont ask.)
The mt09 would sell a lot more if it wasn’t so ugly. The tuono not being so naked is my favorite part about it. There is no rule saying naked bikes have to look like robot bugs
2022 XSR 900 here thing is an absolute gem
Your #1 that is MT09-SP is my pick for 2nd bike after Ninja400 my current bike
Aches to see my Street Triple - that I love to bits - at #10, but I get the logic. For the sake of completeness, the list misses BMW F900R (IMO ranks between Suzuki GSXS 750 and Triumph Trident), Duke 790 (Somewhere between Street Triple and Streetfighter), MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR, MV Agusta Brutale. Guess 2023 will add GSX-8S and Honda Hornet 750. And you realize what a competitive field this is.
I'd say the ducati monster is more of a middle weight then the street fighter

Middle weight has two categories, Upper and Lower middle weight. The tuono 660 factory is the king for the Lower middle weight and the Mt09SP is the king of the upper middle with the Duke in a close second for sure.
Simple, inline 4
Edit: bought a 2022 street triple and have been blessed from the triple
Love my street triple RS! I’ve rode my buddies Factory tuono 660 and in my eyes they don’t compare.
As an owner of an sv650 ican totally agree Yammie 💯🏍
Street triple is at least an 8/10. Smokes almost all the bikes above it.
Agreed this list is peak stupid
@@xpantz Stripple isn't a track bike--- learn about bikes lol. Far and away from a track bike, it's a roadster meant to carve up twisty roads but it's frame and suspension cry mercy at the track.
@@englishsteel-nz6im learn about bikes rofl. Of course it is.... it's geometry is much more like a full sports bike than an MT-09 for instance. Street Triples are already raced competitively and Triumph themselves fully expect them to be raced... Their chief engineer says so. Minus the faring they are basically a Daytona. Close enough no? Much closer than most of the bikes in Yammies list.
@@xpantz I mean they race highly modified baggers and hooligan bikes that doesn't mean in stock form either are track bikes --- the Stripple is a great bike its what the mt09 wishes it was but run it hard at the track compared to a 600 and see. Night and day.
And comparing it to the mt09... the 1st and 2nd gen Mt09 is one of the worst imbalanced piece of trash bikes ever--- I'm convinced it's success is marketing and the vast % of low skill riders who ride them who don't know the difference because anybody skilled that's ridden them reports how bad they are. The new SP is an exception to the rule but it costs the same as the Stripple so what's the point then when it's still less than the Stripple?
Yammies list is a joke LOL the Chinese CF Moto is above the very capable Gsxs750 and the SV 650 above the z900 and Stripple?
Got a XSR900 here. Tons of fun and great aesthetics. CB650R handles really odd to me and is way less sharp comparing to the XSR (might have something to do with oem tire tho). The Taiwan/China version CB650R is also tuned down a lot and has become very boring. I have to say this ranking is quiet accurate but the Cb650r really disappointed me a lot..
SV650 is better value for money, and an outstanding looking, and sounding bike, with usable power that is very upgradable.
mine is pushing 88 hp, after some tweaking and full exhaust, and I get complimented on the looks and sound all the time.
