Great video. I typically don’t use cleaners and additives but I love the Liqui-Moly products as they always make a great improvement to the Rangers injectors.
great video with great results. i would do it slightly differently by turning off the engine to soak the injector for a while with the cleaner fluid, then turning back on when you need to drive. but for video purposes, great. for maintenance purposes, instead of video, you can just pour it into your tank
Thanks so much for making this video! I asked you about this very thing a few months ago. The only other videos I could find were from the Philippines and I couldn’t get a clear understanding of where and how to connect the hoses.
Very nice video (as always). I have used same additive, but following the instructions I have add it to 20 liters of fuel - there is no improvement/change at all. But next time I will follow your way of usage. Once again - thanks for your sharing.
Looks more like a compensation value . Cylinder balance test compares RPM drop at idle when cylinder is disconnected . This points out injector or cylinder sealing is then at fault . Cylinder sealing is rings or valve issue . Further injector testing canbe electrical, resistance / spray pattern /spray volume ,/bleed off
My ranger had low power and the throttle body was replaced, it went back to normal. Have you ever replaced your throttle body and did you know it could affect performance like that?
Hello... your videos makes a lot more sense and are informative🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. I have a 2013 ranger 2.2 and it's been giving me problems...it cranks too long and doesn't start sometimes, but with the Quick Start it can starts...we changed the in-tank fuel pump but nothing changed. Any advice on this problem
I think it will get diluted with diesel and womt be effective. You should bypass the tank in and returns. And run engine onpy on this liquid probably from same bottle. No need to remove diesel filter.
Great videos mate, really appreciate them! Do you think that the Topdon Topscan makes Forescan reduntant, or do both have their place. Just trying to find the best scan tool for my 3.2 2016 ranger.
Hey mate what symptoms are common with injector failures on the p5at, mikes started making a knock noise over 2k rpm drives awesome still but when underload over the 2k rpm its start kncoking still idles fine to
Isn't that a feed and return fuel system? In which case having the engine on idle that moly will go straight to the tank and very little will actually get to the injectors.
I had this problem for years and over time and after my LED lights giving me so much grief and dead car batteries it was the air con system blend door actuators under dash. I had so many auto Electritions struggle to solve this until finally a mobile guy found it. Replaced all 4 and no more dead batteries and no more faulty led head lights. ( also he said the faulty parts were draining my batteries as they kept drawing 3 amp even when car was turned off ). Not a cheap fix but better than buying batteries too regularly and driving around with 1 headlight.
What instructions? On the bottle you have: In the tank, for precaution. Or best to get it 100% pure into the motor, by using not the fuel line but directly the surge fluid. Or they also tell you on the website to do it like this, just put it in the filter.

Excellent I will try yr method with filter as it seems the best way to do this procedure

Check your stater solenoid or wiring in the ignition
@@charitysiziba7530 noted, thank you... will check it out
Good day what do think of liqui moly ceratec in ford bakkie

Hey, I have a question. If the EGR is blanked off but the ford is not reprogram to tell the system it is blanked off, will that cause issues?
Hay mate do you have to do an oil change after?
Hey mate or anyone know where pcv valve for this ranger?
What App are you using?
I cant find one with independent flow sensor.
Great videos mate, really appreciate them! Do you think that the Topdon Topscan makes Forescan reduntant, or do both have their place. Just trying to find the best scan tool for my 3.2 2016 ranger.
i think topscan is preety good, but forscan is more in depth
hi wat is the name of the scanner

i would say injector knocking is a common symptom, check my videos for a injector buzz test.
This might be a pretty noob question, But the BT50/Rangers in PX 1/2/3 versions are 5 cyl. not 4? Does the topscan tool only register the 4?
The 3.2L has 5 cylinders while this is the 2.2L with 4 cylinders. Forscan registers accordingly
Isn't that a feed and return fuel system? In which case having the engine on idle that moly will go straight to the tank and very little will actually get to the injectors.
watch the video again taking note at time stamp 5:07
I have a problem in my Ranger xLT-2017 ( I could hear a ticking sound in the cabin even after turn off the engine) how do I fix that ?
same
That could be the cabin air recirculation actuator/flap. It's very common.

add liqui moly injector cleaner direct into fuel filter when replacing new fuel filter, the same idea.
Where is the 5th cylinder?
I was gonna ask the same thing lol
his is obviously the 2.2 and not the 3.2
@@rhaynes1633 that’s not a real engine so it doesn’t count
@@joeblow1711 2.2 is a superb Engine - shifts the same towing mass - at a lower fuel consumption.
It’s a 2.2 so only four cylinders
The test is invalid if you do not follow the instructions, next!
