    If you haven't looked at Raxles, worth it. Especially if you are going BT/G25-550. Amazing.

    Just a thought, all you need now is a rear diffuser. Remove the bottom rear bumper around the exhaust tips. Would complement the rest of the skirting.

    • @HunterDirection
      @HunterDirection  ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree. The honeycomb rear is great but it would look so much better with a diffuser that matched the lip and skirts. I'll have to think of a good design🤔 thank you for the support!

      @@HunterDirection i wonder how much shipping for the honey comb rear diffuser would be from Canada to South Africa (I cannot find one in this country this is a cry for help)

    In old cars (not TTS) the axel was open but the you have a seal between the joint and differential. The closes one like you installed are preferred

    I love the way that side skirt was designed. Not having to drill new holes and reusing existing ones is really nice.

    Damn man, you're getting so good at editing 😁. (Also I finally have bought a TT mk1 of my own! 🙂). I've been watching your videos for a while now but it's gonna be so cool now being able to follow along with the real life thing 😁.

    • @HunterDirection
      @HunterDirection  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha thank you! I've still got a ways to go for where I want the production value to be. I'm always trying to learn more, so if you ever have suggestions let me know. I am stoked you have a TT. I bet you're gonna have a blast with the car !

    recommending raxles forsure! and im not sure if this is the exact same as s4 but with the s4 you dont even have to take the wheel off to get axle out as long as you get axle bolt thru rim like you did here.. i had my axle in and out in 14 min

    Good Video! Where about in WA are you? I'm near Puyallup, not a lot of TT enthusiasts around here. Keep up the good work!

      I'm over on the east side of the state near Spokane! I agree haha. The TT needs more support in the PNW for sure. Thank you for the support!

    Loving all of your videos. You should make a tutorial on the 3.2 rear battery relocation. Btw are you on the mk1 track car Facebook page?

    Audi advise do not trolley jack to FRONT jack-pads attached cars underside, ok though to do the stronger rears. Reason x4 jack pads designed for garage post lift to all x4 pads simultaneously, equal load distribution. Front pads in weak shell location tends to dent under trolley jack single point loading. Chasis rails the correct trolley-jack location at front + ditto placing jack stand, or alternative use grooved puck / not bend over seam / to lift or jack stand at sill seam at location sill marked for changing spare wheel.

    Black taillights would be rad or just wrap them when you do the car.

    Just a heads up, on your adjustable drop links for your anti roll bar, the locking nuts aren't locking anything, they should be up against the yellow part locking it in place.

      @HunterDirection  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha it's so ironic you mention that. I noticed it while editing and corrected it as of today. They seem to have just worked their way down. Thank you for the support!

    hi HD, could you let me know the size of the extended bolts you used for the underside to hold the skirts? Thanks in advance :-0

  • @frankobrien4248
    @frankobrien4248 ปีที่แล้ว

    got a cut-out in those side skirts so spare wheel jack can lock onto the sill seam to change spare wheel?

    • @HunterDirection
      @HunterDirection  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they curve in enough on the inside to reach the pinch weld thankfully. Thanks for the support!
