    I almost bought this yesterday but the reviews aren't very good. Couldn't take the risk over getting Scarlett 3rd gen. This was my first option though.

    2 things I'm sad about, it doesn't use USB c and the lack of android connection 😢

      Anker has wonderful adapters that will make usb scarcity no longer a problem

      It was designed for Apple. I'm going to pass on it.

    This thing is great! What’s the best way to hook up to a frfr? Do I need a 1/4 to 3.5mm stereo cable? Then plug into the aux on the frfr?

    Nice review/demo! I hadn't heard of this one before. I wonder if it would with Jamkazam? Worth checking out, for sure. Thanks.

      It will work with any amp sim and DAW. I actually recorded and mixed an entire track using this and it works quite well. Nice low latency and great sound. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍

    Nice demo, thanx. Can you use just as input to record and have an other audio device for the sound coming out of your speakers. For example a Mackie mixer?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is possible to do that if you use something like Asio4all to route your audio. You could connect the output of the riff to an input on the mixer and then monitor it through the mixer that way.

    Just tried the Bias fx 2 myself and found no recommendations about needing an interface when buying the $210 download!
    You have that mixer on screen, so do I, but no way to use it with this and my PC. Can only go through the PC so one volume for everything! I have Spotify for songs, the mixer for guitar volume but all of this in this method only goes through the PC which goes into the mixer. I love PG tones on my Spark. Would love to get these tones but run through my mixer and PA to give it that punch in volume. With headphones the Spark is awesome, but I don’t want to use headphones all the time.

    Nah. Positive Grid is one of those shady companies that manipulates available stock and deal deadlines. As soon as the numbers reach zero, they just refresh them. I noticed that when I was considering buying one of their Spark amps. The site would advertise the limited availability, then just start over every few hours when they "sold out."

  • @spundry

    What about the direct signal? Can you record that and re-amp later?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is all you’re recording with this. The amps and effects are from plugins or the app on iOS. If you record your guitar while using the plugin, you are only recording the direct signal and the plugin is an effect that you can change later or take off completely. You can use any plugin with it, you don’t have to use the bias FX software. If you want to remap the audio that you record through it then you can do that without the amp plugin on.

  • @JordanBenevento
    @JordanBenevento 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Question, what you're listening through your headphones is the sound processed by bias fx? or just the direct sound of your guitar?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s an audio interface so you’ll hear any processing that you do in the software. If you use bias FX amp sim then you’ll hear the guitar processed through that.
      You can also use this to listen to music through or watch videos through. Plus record and edit entire songs.
      If you aren’t familiar with audio interfaces, think of this like an external soundcard.

    Hi can you record and save recording?

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not with the interface itself but if you download a recording program (DAW software) then you can record, save, edit, add even more FX, whatever you want.

    It's not even designed for a PC. It's an Apple toy. To use it on PC you have to download unstable software. And it uses a Micro USB. Was it designed 10 years ago? Pass.
