Perfect. Sounds 👏👏👏
Great clear explanations
Thanks!
Thanks for the video! I see you also have a Tone X pedal amp. If I wanted to use Amplitube with an effects pedal, would you recommend the iRig HD X with the IK Multimedia BluePedal or the Tone X Pedal Amplifier? For my purposes, it would be for guitar practice and private playing (no live gigging).
@@worldnomaderic Amplitube as the plugin itself doesn’t come into a hardware pedal, at least at the moment. Amplitube is only in plugin format for practicing using the IK Amplitube pluhin you just need the iRig USB which is the little sister of the HD X version since you don’t need the streaming loopback feature
Thank you!!!
Trying to get this to work on my iPhone just using my amp but it’s not recording the audio
Could you do a video about
How could a set my computer + phone with this.
I would like to record my guitar video with this interface but plus over tracks saved in Mac.
How can I set the recording software to take 2 audios
The one coming from my guitar
The track coming from my laptop?
so I could use it with headphones and my android phone mobile right, like in a car whatever right, whats the battery consumption like? how many hours shreddin you get for a set of batteries?
I don't think the iRig uses batteries. It uses power from your phone, tablet, or computer. The length of time would depend on that device. The processing power comes from the device itself, so the iRig uses minimal power.
Hello. How should I connect it to a PC? Do I need the PC to have a USB C input? Or should I get another cable that is USB C to USB to connect it to the PC? Thank you
If your pc do not have usb-c you can get an usbc-to typeA adapter (I think is that the name)
@@MadSteex thank you for response bro. I will try. Y have a cable USB-C to USB-A from my tablet Samsung. I hope that work
How to fix it on a microphone stand. I couldn’t find any support.
I tried to follow what you did. When I plug in the rig HD X, there is no sound! I’ve plugged into my iPad and iPhone still, no sound. I’ve gone through every setting in Garrage Band and the irig. I can’t figure how to get any sound. I’d like to use this for pratice. I’d like to play something from Spotify and hear myself play along with it.
I’m getting the same thing, did you ever find a solution?
There is no solution as the software program on this device simply doesn’t work.
If you have to have this type of device the hd2 is a far better choice and does work!
It's possible to send ToneX iOS app signal to Amplitube iOS using the irig loopback?
Don’t know, never tried, but why not use simply the tonex block inside the Amplitube plugin?
@@MadSteex yeah true. Too bad I cant test it here too :(
Is it compatible with Android devices?
Yes on the box is written " Compatible with Android devices running Android 5 or later and with USB digital audio capabiliies"
Will this stream other audio while you are playing guitar? Like, if I play a backing track on the same device I'm using ToneX will I be able to listen to both and stream both?
Yep, that's the point of the Loopback feature.
Have you tried with an acoustic guitar?
it's the same approach.
Con la funzione loopback invia in streaming anche la backing track?
Si invia in streaming i canali di uscita principali 1/2
So can I connect it to my guitar, then to my pedal board that goes into the amp?
Exactly. You can record the DI while you are sending the DI to the pedals/amp
Well this was usefull. Can i listen to my playing with ipods (wireless headphones)?
Yes you can for example decide in your daw which is the input interface and otput interface. Actually I don't know how wireless system will interact with mac/pc so how you can select them, but in any daw you can select the In and out.
Without a DAW I don't think is possible
I though to connect irig to my iphone and output to be ipods(wifi)?
@@wladosu mmmm interesting...I can try, I've the earpods
Please do, thank you
Hi man yesterday I’ve tested with my AirPods 2 they can be selected in any daw/plugin so can be recognized as possible output. The problem is the latency! Man is around 0.5 sec 😂😂😂 I think is due to the bluetooth technology of these wireless headphones..maybe Bluetooth is slow for zero latency audio
Can it record also my voice if I want to sing over my guitar? Like if my headset with mic plugged to the Irig HD phone jack and use my headset mic to record my voice
I think the headphone jack is only to listen so it’s an out
Do I need to use a specific preset to run this to a mixers aux out for livestream band sessions?
No any extras needed
I’m a complete noob with all of this but how (using my iPhone) would I use this for guitar and be able to switch to talking?
This device accepts only jack input so only for instruments and not xlr for vocals
You should use another audio interface for your vocals
Can I run into FRFR with no latency? Would be a great portable rig with a Headrush 108, if it works.
You can do that for recording. “No latency” is only for recording! When you use plugins you will introduce a small latency obviously
Thx.
@@MadSteex
hey. can we route output sound from mac to Bluetooth speaker ??
Hi yes you can decide the input and output device differently as you want
Can I use this to record through my physical amp into my phone?
If you want YES but you have to send line level to the input of the audio interface. So you have to come from the amp with a line level
Zero latency while Play & Listen?
Zero latency on recording D.I.; there is no possibility to get zero latency recording with any plugin with any audio interface.
@@MadSteex Thank you for the info, I know that zero latency is not an option, but is this product solve all other earlier versions latency issues that what I wanted to ask. Can you please let us know what is the feeling while playing? Any noticeable delay/latency when you hit a string?
@@aduketket-km4cy not any latency feeling actually. I enjoyed very much using it. Super user friendly, fast and stable
@@MadSteex Thank you..🤘
Do the amps on this sound as realistic as on the Tonex pedal? Like the sensitivity and headroom.
It’s an audio interface man, you then need to use a plugin for the sound
Yes the Tone X amp's sound very good. You can use this with any other guitar vsti or guitar app on ipad 👍🏼
Scrolled through. All talk no business?
Maybe don’t scroll :) follow the logical and chronological video and you will learn everything about the features.
Secret: This is the mean for a video ;)
Were you born stupid or did it come later?
Scrolled through what? I’m so confused 😂
Can i run my axe fx through this
It’s an audio interface man you can do the same as a normal desktop audio interface
