Holy Che moly alright Ken very nice content from inside the vehicle, what a great improvement with the circle D converter awesome ET. Those Cayote engine are tough at that 8000 shift point, is it gone last longer after more high rpm shift. Ken bring that customer with the 3.55 rear gear with that ESS blower to the track, that is my gear ratio in my mustang i’am curious what it will run forET.👏👍😎🇨🇦💪

Looking good with the converter and long tube headers combo, really good launches. 3.55 gears should
be even better. Really digging all the changes, she is really getting fast. As a far as shop content as long
as it's a Ford, all the the content is good, awesome job Ken.

He’s good with the 3.15 if he just pulley down.
With a converter a more aggressive gear ratio is not what you want. Even with the stock converter boosted 3.15 guys are getting the same 60 ft as 3.55 guys. And more mph up top. Gotta remember 1st gear in a 10r80 is super aggressively geared internally. 1st gear with 3.55 is like a 6r80 1st with 4.10's. Way too aggressive gearing boosted.
@@Oliver-ft2fq I’m not going to 3.55 with the converter. From what I’ve seen 3.55 without a converter does good.
Great video Ken!!! Like seeing the comparison. The car is really getting fast! 10.5 at 137-138 is quick!!!! What tires/rims were you running? Did you have your Welds on? I look forward to seeing the pulley at 110 or even 100.

All runs in this video are with the welds. Had the runs at the end of the video been on the quarter we would have went very low 10’s.

I love seeing the changes with the converter. I have an ESS 2017 GT with a 6R80 and factory 3.15s. I’m about to swap a 3.55 pumpkin in, you think it will help with my track times?
Yes it will! 3.55 gear cars do great with centri.

Yes I have the dss 800’s in it. I usually do DSS 2000’s but had someone that had 800’s new in box that offered me a great deal on them.
Have you done any work on the new 2024’s and what are you hearing on them?

ESS. Circle d is a 4,000 flash converter. I told them my setup and plans and they set it up for me.

Dang that 1/8 mile ET is good for a 10.0 in the 1/4! Fix that early 1-2 shift and You've got a 9.9 on it! My car chirped on the 1-2 hard enough it took 3rd right away. These 10r80's are very picky with wheel spin.
Yes they are very picky but when right they get down.
3.15's for pwr adder cars.
Is this on E? My buddies Lund ess car ran 10.5 @ 135 on the 125mm and 93, no converter.
Did you watch the video all the way through? The 10.4@137 was with a 6.79@107.1 mph in the 1/8th The last run in this video on same setup was 6.55@111mph in the 1/8th which would be at least a 10.0 or 10.1 or maybe better in the quarter. Also we are full weight on 3.15 gears. I have customers that run mid 10’s on 93 with 3.55 gears as well tuned by wengerd. Also DA has a huge factor in how quick a car is. I’ve have had Lund tune my customers cars as well as Wengerd and they put down very very similar hp on the dyno. Both drive great.
800 ft above sealevel aint gonna hurt, +1500 ft will add a quarter sec and slow down a few mph.

Not using paddles. It is shifting itself.

@@Travisisaac55when I installed the digital dash that was put in to show like that from where it was pre programmed. I haven’t gotten around to turning it off and making it come up when only in manual mode.

I run a whippled 10r80 s550 stang (only 660whp on 93) with 3.55 gear in Australia@@SpeedAddict731 doing rolls from 35 to 120mph at a local non prep legal track. starting off in 2nd and hitting it then flicking the stick to D I find the 2-3 shift can get loose. Apart from tyre you think I should hit it in third then shift to auto (D) mode to reduce spin on the hit?

Wasn’t doing it at the end of video. Just getting everything lined out with the converter. It was short shifting at one point there.
