    You guys are smart to do this in steps similar to what a typical guy would do it. My stock 5.0 will first see a supercharger with headers and the rest of standard mods well after.

    Are you launching from 1st or 2nd gear? What are you stalling up to and what drive modes/traction settings? I just installed a ess 120 on 93 here in Canada but she doesn’t hook at all on the street from 1st gear

    How much was your pil pump gears and crank upgrade? I know those are MUST haves with pretty much any power over 550 wheel/620 crank in these.

    Im in the similar situation as you with 1/4 mile track closed down and only have local an 1/8 mile track. Losing the 1/4 mile has reduced my drive to build another drag strip car, but i would love to build another drag car in the future and these mustangs might just be the ones to build!

    Ken, are you going to have a dyno video out on the 120 mm on stock fuel system? Just curious what power it will put down in stock form I’m basically mimicking your build with the 120 mm pulley on pump 93. Just curious what would make compared to the 125 mm.

      Damn. I'm in Commiefornia where the highest we got is 91 octane and e85 is almost impossible to find

    Definitely got to do something with the exhaust now that the supercharger is in ,at least get the resonator out , nice clean car and you're making me want that supercharger kit...

    Great vid as always. How do you have vac/boost gauge on your cluster? I have a digital cluster on my premium/pp and don't have one of those.

    I don't know if I missed it in the build video, but do you have completely stock fuel system in there right now? I'm about to buy an ESS G3 with a G4 intercooler and a 120 pulley on 93 octane. I don't have any E anywhere near me. I would be happy with the performance you've gotten on yours thus far, I don't race it often. It's completely stock right now and I don't need it to have 800 whp or anything. It sounds like you don't even have a BAP or injectors on this currently? Because that would definitely save me some money if I don't need that stuff to hit these power levels. Thanks!

    With the ET you have from them passes next to be fair installed the circle D on pump gas first. I’am curious what will the car reaction on the 60’. Thanks! Ken well done.

      I will go back to 93 on this pulley in the future with the converter. Even if I have the fuel system and E in the car by time I get one. Just to see.

      No just holding the brake and pressing the throttle to that rpm.

    I actually won a G3 kit but I'm contemplating not installing it on my '17 as its got a little over 80K miles now (it's my daily). Definitely will keep the kit though. What is your opinion on higher mileage cars and adding boost?

      As long as the engine is healthy I don’t see any issues with it. I’ve installed a vmp supercharger on a 136,000 mile engine. A year and a half later it’s still doing good. I usually wouldn’t recommend at that mileage. But if highway miles it’s not as bad. Do a compression test and see how it looks.

      @@SpeedAddict731 Yeah it's primarily highway miles. I'm not hard on my vehicles either. It sees 8200 rpm maybe once a week if I have a empty road but that's rare on my daily route. I may do a compression test just out of curiosity though.

      Talking with them they are recommending a 258mm.

    Honestly I think you’re making a mistake going right to a converter. Most people don’t go to a converter and wanna see what it’ll do with say headers, maybe better rear gears, fuel system and E85 etc before you start messing with the transmission. I’d say do that towards the end

      Only thing with the rear gear is you kind of need to stay out of 7th and with a 100mm pulley we will be in 7th on the quarter mile. I did think about that. I have a 3.55 diff at my shop. Fuel system will be in before the converter. Headers will be on shortly as well. It’s just with a centrifugal car, you really need a higher stall converter to get them to leave hard at the dragstrip which helps out a lot on the ET. I do appreciate the input and that’s what I want out of my viewers. To let me know what they want to see.

      @@SpeedAddict731 I can definitely understand not wanting to get into 7th gear and possibly hurting the trans. Maybe taller tire and 3.55’s? But definitely do LT’s and E85 first, see what it does then the converter to showcase the big gain in 1/4 mile time. Another piece of input I can think of is daily life with said converter. That’s the reason most people don’t do them is they’re scared of the drivability while just cruising even in a weekend care.

      Yup…Circle D converter..stall RPM matched to what your dyno graph shows when that boost hits that spicy HP 😊 Leave them 3.15’s alone 🤣

      @@boosted10speed Definitely the best approach for the most performance and best 1/4 mile time but most people don’t go that route as most people’s cars are daily’s or weekend warrior car that cruise more than race on a drag strip so more people are interested in what their setup can do vs what a more race car setup can do.

    Ken I'm trapping 2mph more than you on a 2nd gen 16 mustang gt manual with a gen 5 stage 2 whipple with nothing more than a catback exhaust with whipple lame tune. Maybe your tune is off alittle?

      No,tune is great, car is making great power.
      I ran same mph with my gen5 whipple on stage 2 as well on my 15. Basically your same setup on my 15 as well. Right at similar power levels. Also Depends on DA both are ran in. If the da would have been lower I would have had more mph. Almost 3k DA is not great for glory runs.

    Very disappointed on HPR and Wenger Performance. Not here to talk trash, just wanted to mention that I was tuned by the infamous Wengerd (excuse my ignorance for spelling)...Motor Blown 13k later and still no response from either gents.
