Might have to go the route of a centrifugal type blower with my Mach 1 if I ever decide to boost her. It probably makes the most sense considering it’s a track focused car. Glad you’re not doing anything too crazy and focusing on the balance this car is supposed to have! Love the build brother!

For a street car it’s perfect and has a great gear ratio (3.73) same as the gt500 The only thing I would do would be headers and a free flow “ quiet” exhaust ( I’m old lol). Also If it spun coming out the hole I would either do a sticker tire or change the gear ratio to 3:55 imho. Congratulations on the build and take care.

I was not sure if this kit would work since it does not say for Mach 1 but SUPER happy you worked with them and they probably have/will have a Mach 1 specific kit. Awesome brother! Centri takes the best of TVS and Turbo and applies + plus won't destroy the car from crazy torque early on. Love the midrange on my Procharger P1X . It's all about rpm on launch. While rolling, launch from 5000rpm - then hang on. Wouldnt get headers unless you are going big big power, if you stay around the power you are at now, you will lose about 1lb ish of boost with headers. Check out the MAK 2 Hurricane inlet for +1lb of boost and 40ish hp for cheap. 😉

Love the setup. I’m getting my Paxton blower installed as soon as my headers arrive. Get it all on at the same time. Also, I loved that boost gauge, I had been on the fence for finding something that looked OEM as much as possible and that P3 Gauges has one for my 2014 GT. Thanks again brother!

Centri blowers are pretty easy to manage. Pulls like a freight train. I don’t have any experience with a TVS type blower. I’d look at whipple though or twin turbo but my p1-x is making around 800 wheel on e85. Headers too.
Hell yes man, I'm still working on my 60-130 times. Problem is finding a place to hit 130 plus without losing my license here in AZ lol. Glad you like the kit man.
Tons of places in AZ to go 130 late at night on the freeway with no one around. My favorite is the 202. Maybe if you talk to wild horse pass they will let you run to 130 on the strip or let you do a rolling start on drag nights

Alex I have been following you for awhile now before the red Mustang. I stayed up with you on the Toyota Supra & Camaro, I have followed entirely through the white 2022 that you just put on the ESS G3X with the G4 cooler. Please tell me why you got rid of the Mach 1? It was almost perfect. Was it due to the great deal that you got on the 2022 GT and you wanted a lower payment???? I am waiting on my 2024 DH. I plan to do very similar build on it as you have done on the White GT. Variant wheels, Corsa double H-pipe w/Kooks headers & Borla S-pipe saving the AE option. Planning on Corsa CAI x 2 for the 7th generation; PPF + tint and ESS G3X w/G4 inter-cooler, oil pump gears & crank sprocket, keeping it in 93 octane. This car will be my daily driver. I am wondering how long I will have to wait on a Tune (Wengerd)? Ford already provided the ECM encryption to Whipple & RTR. So hopefully only a one year wait for a tune. Well done for being willing to pioneer this specific setup. Makes for interesting watching. Quick question about boost pressures - you have mentioned a few times including this video that the pulley you got provides around 7.5 of safe boost, but clearly your actual max is 9. You said something about the extra 1.5 is what pushed the power to over 700, which I understand, but what I don't is where the extra 1.5 comes from? Simply from raising the max revs or extra tuning or what? I am an absolute novice when it comes to this kind of thing so sorry if it's a slightly stupid question.
Centrifugal blowers are a connected to the crank.. the faster the motor spins the more boost it makes.. Rev it to 8500 and it would make well over 10psi..
So you said you may not want to add any more power, you probably will bro. I ran the G2 at 720whp for about a year. I knew I wanted an 800 hp car. Now I'm 870whp with the G3 and its the most fun you have as a street car. Glad to see you enjoy the car like my 2020. Good shi* man!
Thank you for touching base on my question about drivability and when boost comes on. I still can't believe they sell these kits at the prices they do. My kit arrived about a week ago then 2 days later we got hammered with 34 inches of snow so don't complain about weather to me lol. Thanks man

Has the Mach 1 engine internals (crank, bearings etc) been beefed up to handle this extra horse power? I have a '19 GT Coyote (20k miles on it) and I'm wondering if my present engine will handle this.
With this setup, it doesn't need any beefier engine internals? Just got my Mach 1. I probably won't consider a blower setup for a while, but may down the line.

Thanks. I’m running NGK 6510s I think and gapped to 26 for 93. Your tuner will tell you what gap he wants. And I’m running motorcraft 5w50 synthetic since I’m boosted now

My 10 speed actually runs like a bat out of hell now with their tune revision (6th) +170 thermostat incorporated . They told me to stay on 5w20, but I bumped up to to 5w30 penzoil ultra Platinum + 1 ceretec treatment. I just can't see running 5w50 unless I'm tracking it. I know lots of other centri users are doing the same. TVS different story since always in boost.

If I pounce on it, it will go no higher than 208 then quickly jumps back down. Thats why i am staying at 5w30 until a play date, then I will go 40w. "Hennesey HPE750 2015 Mustang GT, set land speed record (for mustangs) of 207 mph, uses PUP 5W-30" I miss the Campbell AO!

would this kit work on a pushrod motor? Paxton charger, the same type of charger right. I was looking at one for my 66 stang. Pushrod motor. In 1966 Paxton was a factory option at the same boost level. 7-9lbs on 302 and 351. they did it back then without forged internals as we have now. I would think you could turn it up higher on pump gas. if you remember I posted 700-750 when you didn't know how you were going to boost or not. your car is much heavier than my 66. Impressive, but a safe build for your beautiful Mach 1. The vent dash gauge looks great with it's built in look. My only question is the rattling sound the blower makes when you're shooting with the hood up. Is that from the mic, or is it noiser then other brands. Thanks for the ride along. Really like your conservative approach making the car remain like a stock Mach 1, yet over 700 horsepower. I'm not sure if you know the U-Tuber RacerX who switched from his Hellcat to a Hellion Twin turbo Mustang GT. I think you both have a lot in common regarding building fast Mustang, yet keeping them stock in appearance. A nice guy like yourself who's learning a new platform. Nice job Zander.
Before you take that thing to a road course, check and make sure the clutch slave cylinder and the brake system aren’t on the same fluid reservoir. That is a problem for the PP2 cars , and when you start heating the brakes up you can lose clutch control.
No problem. Someone makes a reservoir kit to isolate the slave cylinder from the brakes. Can’t remember the manufacture off the top of my head, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
@@Zander13Productions emailed the tuner and he is holding the car back so I don't blow it up. Lol. He said had bad experiences with people going all out before it's dialed in correctly.
I think air load on the dyno was like low to mid 80’s. I need to data log the shifting to look for false knock but it feels solid so far. On the dyno there was none

Ess rates the boost number at 7500 rpm. Any thing over that will be more psi. And I feel like they slightly under-rate them in the first place

My 10 speed actually runs like a bat out of hell now with their tune revision (6th) +170 thermostat incorporated . They told me to stay on 5w20, but I bumped up to to 5w30 penzoil ultra Platinum + 1 ceretec treatment. I just can't see running 5w50 unless I'm tracking it. I know lots of other centri users are doing the same. TVS different story since always in boost.
@@motiv8d111 yea. Minimum weight I would run is 5w30. I will probably switch to that in the winter.
@@Zander13Productions I hear ya brother, I did a ton of reasearch and settled for this as the oil to go with. Car is always in the high 180s-mid 190s for temp. If I pounce on it, it will go no higher than 208 then quickly jumps back down. Thats why i am staying at 5w30 until a play date, then I will go 40w. What did it end up making for peak boost? At what RPM? I didnt see anywhere that you talked about it.

would this kit work on a pushrod motor? Paxton charger, the same type of charger right. I was looking at one for my 66 stang. Pushrod motor. In 1966 Paxton was a factory option at the same boost level. 7-9lbs on 302 and 351. they did it back then without forged internals as we have now. I would think you could turn it up higher on pump gas. if you remember I posted 700-750 when you didn't know how you were going to boost or not. your car is much heavier than my 66. Impressive, but a safe build for your beautiful Mach 1. The vent dash gauge looks great with it's built in look. My only question is the rattling sound the blower makes when you're shooting with the hood up. Is that from the mic, or is it noiser then other brands. Thanks for the ride along. Really like your conservative approach making the car remain like a stock Mach 1, yet over 700 horsepower. I'm not sure if you know the U-Tuber RacerX who switched from his Hellcat to a Hellion Twin turbo Mustang GT. I think you both have a lot in common regarding building fast Mustang, yet keeping them stock in appearance. A nice guy like yourself who's learning a new platform. Nice job Zander.
Thanks. The rattling sound is the straight cut gears. They have a quiet version that does not sound like that
How is it with gas ? And any warranty in the engine left ? And any warranty on the turbo ?
It’s not a turbo but there is probably still some warranty left. Just depends honestly
Before you take that thing to a road course, check and make sure the clutch slave cylinder and the brake system aren’t on the same fluid reservoir. That is a problem for the PP2 cars , and when you start heating the brakes up you can lose clutch control.

No problem. Someone makes a reservoir kit to isolate the slave cylinder from the brakes. Can’t remember the manufacture off the top of my head, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

I think air load on the dyno was like low to mid 80’s. I need to data log the shifting to look for false knock but it feels solid so far. On the dyno there was none
Ken said it pulled more pounds per air than his stage 2 whipple did at similar power level

There is still more room for fuel but the biggest concern is not too much boost on 93. E85 will support much more
