HPR that ESS kit is really impressive it just keeps on pulling way up in the rpm band now that it's on E85 I'm really looking forward to seeing the passes it makes on the 120 pulley great series keep the videos coming.
Great comment about chasing dyno #'s. I used to have an SVT Lightning that always dyno'd about 20 hp less than pretty much every other comparable truck when i was just bolt on. But it ran 8.20's 1/8 on regular hard tires with pulley, tune, and mid pipe.
Nice!! Did you notice a big jump in power just based on feel when driving? I just bought a 2023 6 speed and planning a supercharger install this winter. A big factor in the kit I choose is the overall feel. I want to feel the power when I stomp it. Appreciate any feedback you have!
@@livestrib3752 nice man. At what rpm’s do you feel it start pulling? Reason I ask, I have a 6 speed so 1st thru 4th, the rpm’s climb real quick based on the gear ratios. 3-3500 would be the sweet spot I think! Thanks for getting back to me.
On E85 it’ll make 750. I am running a Procharger D1-X with Fore fuel system on 13 pounds with E85 mine made 768HP/546TQ at Palm Beach Dyno. That was on 20 inch / 305 Drag Radials which eats power on a Dyno.
YES!! I try to tell guys all the time the dyno is just a tool. The numbers mean nothing. The real numbers are the track performance numbers. That's where you see what power the car is making. Some people get so caught up in dyno numbers it's just crazy.
Hi, love the content. What are the IATs for each setup please? I will be road coursing mine. After researching all the different super chargers I will pick the ESS. I want to keep it under 700 hp and don't want to change to E85. I have a '21 PP1 premium with H-pipe, active exhaust, and JLT catch can everything else is stock. What do you suggest?
I have the Ess g3, 115mm pulley, LT headers catless, 3’ H pipe all the way to mufflers. I’m still on 93 just because I haven’t put in my return fuel system. I wonder what I’ll be at
What injectors are you using? Im considering the ESS with the 120 pulley as well. I dont want to mess with the fuel system and 600 + hp is plenty for me. Thanks
I have fic 1000 on my kit. G2 with G3 Intercooler, long tubes, high flow cats, x pipe, stock axle back with ngk spark plugs gapped at .028, vortex bap, precision bov, 2 oil catch cans, tuned by Lund on 93 pump gas for the last year no problem. Also I have the mt82 but second trans lol. I have the McLeod RXT clutch with barton short throw shifter now. I also have stock OPGs for now. Car is heading back to the dyno next month. Last year it made just shy of 600 hp before the exhaust system upgrade due to a exhaust leak, on 125mm pulley so I'm hoping for 630ish on the 125mm now then pulley down to 120mm pulley and run it again. Goal is 660-680ish. I'll be happy there. I plan on doing a fuel system upgrade next year and run e85 on the same pulley and hope to touch 730ish without dropping down to the 115mm pulley. I want to be able to drive it daily without having to swap from 115mm to 120mm because of knock issue on pump gas that the 115mm and below causes. Stang is on my channel. I have some more content in the works as I'm still learning more about the kit and adding parts to the vehicle. Good luck with the kit if you pursue it. It's worth it.
It is the 120 pulley right, so what brand of booster pump you have on that ESS supercharger , also what brand of injector your have ID 1050 or FIC ect.🇨🇦💪😎👍
I’d would have to have that setup on same dyno to be able to tell you that. I would assume around 20-30 more hp. Maybe more because you wouldn’t have the car going richer on the afr due to cat overtemp protection.
Great video Ford power forever baby keep on pulling the knot out of them boties and the horns off them mopars l love watching you making them mustangs fly great job bro keep on doing the great work you do
I have put over 2k miles on my car since the supercharger install. 0 trans issues. Usually around 800whp is when they can start giving trouble. However I’ve seen some go beyond that with no issues and I’ve seen some that go before that. But usually 8-850 is when most see issues.
Usually around 800whp is when they can start giving trouble. However I’ve seen some go beyond that with no issues and I’ve seen some that go before that. But usually 8-850 is when most see issues with a 10R80. It is always best to build before it breaks.
I'm not surprised. This is what I have and it's turned out to be a very poor investment. All I ever hear is is slow because of pump gas all while whipple and procharger etc are getting alot better power out of the same 93 octane. I thought for sure buying an ess supercharger and going with the g3x head unit combined with the g4 heat exchanger along with a free flowing exhaust would perform better than my old lame azz 16 roush rs3,but nope... I just wish I had stayed stock and sold the car for something fast. We don't have e85 in my area of Tennessee so I'm pretty much stuck with this junk.
My whipple car on 93 went 133 mph in the quarter just like this car does! Procharger setups I’ve seen are trapping same as well. One thing you have to look at is timing, log your car. I have seen people pulling timing on 93 and if so the car will be down on power alot. Do a log and see if it’s pulling timing. The whole point of me talking in this video is saying that the car did great in the quarter and dynos don’t always show the true power. But trap speed at the dragstrip doesn’t lie. I have put whipple cars on the dyno we typically use and they put down same hp as a g3 on 120 pulley on 93 on the same dyno.
Can you return the car to stock sell the blower kit and the car separately? The quicker you do it the less loss. I feel sorry for you mate, with mine I was lucky I went Whipple on my 10R80 GT and its an absolute rocket, love it no regrets.

This series of videos is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I just got a stock 5.0 and considering ESS
ESS is a great kit. We will be going all the way down to 100mm on E85. Doing every pulley along the way.
HPR that ESS kit is really impressive it just keeps on pulling way up in the rpm band now that it's on E85 I'm really looking forward to seeing the passes it makes on the 120 pulley great series keep the videos coming.

What injectors are you using? Im considering the ESS with the 120 pulley as well. I dont want to mess with the fuel system and 600 + hp is plenty for me. Thanks
This is my exact reasoning. Probably do some cooling mods. Stay 93 octane and stock exhaust.

How much hp would catless long tubes add to the same setup on 120mm and 93??
