7:35 has a four and can use it for eight damage

gives up 8 damage for a 1 in 6 chance at 5 shield. while at full hp. classic egg
20:32 just didn't even attack. too many missplays, but that was the most jarring for me. especially with bump. He should of wasted a non 6 on the axe/hammer that way if curse trigger get gets 4 free dice out of bump. Which could lead to more damage over time.

NL rushing through things so fast that he has to literally restart the run because he has no idea what's going on since he didn't take the time to read anything is kind of peak NL.

This run was so strong that he made it look easy despite then many, very obvious mistakes. If egg slowed down just a tiny bit he would be unstoppable.
When coin flips meet dice, a scrambled egg is what you get.
Rerolls 4s even thougj they are his best bet (misses lethal a few times). Keeps bumping 6s for no reason as he already has way more than enough dice. Idk man, scrambled eggs for breakfast
20:30 has a two which can be put into battle axe for 4 more damage *skips* OK
7:30 has a 4. “Reroll” OK...
Yum yum yum, all the frustrations of slay the spire in a brand new spicy format.
this episode reminds me why I didn't watch the eggman till he was at least a few hundred episodes in slay the spire

more dice is ALWAYS better, even if you dont even have enough ways to spend your dice obviously.

My guy has 3 attack cards and has some need to create 7 dice and only bump 6s. I don't get it

@@jacobkeller863 watching him with silver cauldron on the witch and putting his odd spells in even slots is so painfull too.
Creating multiple dice lets him keep results so he doesn't have to worry about losing damage. Course the bumps were guaranteed damage so while I'm sure there are edge cases where that keeps you from rerolling bad damage into very bad damage, that ultimate was the sub-optimal play the vast majority of the time.
Why did my mans reroll a 4 on the vacuum fight when he had shield and battleaxe left?
Edit: can't even be mad about that because he literally ended turn when he had a battleaxe and a 2 left on wickerman
The easiest character, still, this episode was SO HARD TO WATCH, YOU HAVE 3 BATTLE AXES WHY ARE YOU REROLLING ALL THE FOURS!

If you only have space to use three dice, what's the point in continuing to generate more dice with bump? Figure out what your optimal set of dice is for your equipment, then try to get that.
Also - christ it was hard to watch every time you threw away a 6 to the curse.
NL getting into old slay the spire habbits by leaving dice unspent.

Elmore Evans it’s because he makes a million extra dice for no reason and doesn’t effectively utilize his best damage output move (battle axe) that the *entire* freaking level is built around, ol egg boy
I found out the hard way that you can’t plug 1’s into Counterspell, freeze the enemy, and have their frozen dice be locked. When an equipment says “Roll” it refers to when the dice is made and added to the board, and not when it hits a certain value after being rolled.
Great NL logic: let's only bump 6's all the time to get more dice than can be used, rather than using it to get useful dice.

Maybe you should try and use that to your advantage!!

Rule of thump NL, "you dont need more dice than you have equipment that consume them" at least for the warrior. If you have 4 equipment that consume dice, generating a 1 is a waste off of bump. its better to re roll a dice or to bump a number that is lower to one that is better.
So frustrating to see him re rolling the 4's at the beginning.
It's amazing how differently I approached this chapter compared to Egg
By which I mean I just loaded up on attack cards and killed everything before they could do too much damage to me. After the first floor it basically played itself.

Holy shit, these bumps are the most cursed thing in the world.
25:50 egghead had three attacking equipment to work with, all of which are best with 5 or 6. The first 6 bump was smart since he gets a third die, but then my mans decided to make 3 more ones instead of rerolling and using bumps to achieve max damage. I think I finally understand the frustration people had with early slay the spire since I'm actually playing this game. Egg needs to slow things down

Yes, but now he can lose a six dice to a cursed bump, then reroll another dice twice, get a five, bump it twice and then end up with a six and an one for a total of four dice! At least it purge the curse.
Curse doesn't affects the character's ability. In this scenario - Combat Roll can't be cursed.
Hi NL! Hear me out, if you get bump on the magician you can get an infinite number of dice with the value you want if you learn it on slot number 1 and put it on an upgraded spot.

I despise NL's usage of Bump. Not because getting an extra die is bad, but because *You only have three things that can use dice to actually do anything why are you trying to make a bunch of extra ones?!*

Am I crazy? Is cursed the first card you use? Or did Egg get severely unlucky with like 8 curses on bump in a row?
I think bump might be bugged. It's not always the first one you use,, but I do think it goes up, like 80% first, 90% second and 100% third, based on the amount of equipment you have

Why do you create more ones when you already have all the dice you need?
He created lots of dice but then often had dice unused and the dice he did use were worse than they could’ve been
so fury bump gives you two dice of value X+1... and Fury Bump 6 gives you 2 sixes and 2 ones for the cost of a six?
This run was extremely cursed

That bump curse at the beginning. We really need someone to count how many times in a row bump was the thing to get cursed. At some point, failing that many coin flips is absurd.
It's hilarious, and I'd be interested to know the odds/how many times that happened, but that really seems like it is broken.

I hope the creator sees this I played the witch and got the spell that “Locks” numbers you put in the spell. For some reason. It locks numbers SOMETIMES but then I’ll lock 6 and the Jester rolled a 6 and just kills me. It happened twice in the same fight.

I think that bump needs to be taken away from the egg. He uses it to get more dice then reroll them instead of making the twos and threes he has into his perfect fours or fives, and leaves himself with less than optimal dice *and* a surplus that he can't do anything with, instead of taking the three or four dice he's given and making the most.
