Why not? His deck is flexible with low rolls, and giving the yeti/snowman low rolls means they deal almost no damage. Yeah, you miss out on the chance of them dealing _literally_ no damage, but you're far more likely to have them roll 3's and 5's if you don't freeze them. NL's play was the safest. Freeze Snowman and Yeti all ya want.
Well not no misplays, but extremely minor ones countered by playing other things well. Like he managed to get that HP up skill on like every battle except one; that really helped the run a ton.

You want to split your high value first, play the "playable parts" that are less than 3, and force teh berlin key to hit the remaing value you cannot play. so for example, when you have 2 and a 5, you want to split the five. Then you can berlin key a 2 into a 3 if it splits 3/2 or berlin key the 4 into a 2 if it splits 4/1

If you go ham on Dramatic Exit you are practically unkillable as long as you have decent damage. Having as much health as the final boss feels great.

NL you over rate how much the rouge likes 1's a little. Freezing a 4 or 3 in to a 1 is bad for dagger as you can split the 4, and 3 > 1.
