It took me 3 hours to get out of bed. Stress melt sounded like what I need. 10mins in, I didn't think I could stick around until the end. I did it! I feel a tiny bit better even though I'm crying.
I hope you feel much better now , i can say from experience that I was following Adrienne's yoga sequence for 3 years now and they never fail to make feel grounded and better each time 🙏 I hope you find it in you to keep trying to feel better 💙 namaste and merry Christmas
Today was especially difficult for me, I was plunged in sadness over the recent events in my home country, Lebanon. Yesterday the main port in Beirut blew up entirely. More than a 100 people died, more than 3000 are wounded, Many are still lying under the rubbles waiting to be found and 300 000 have had to leave their homes after they'd suffered severe damages. My heart is crying. I did yoga with you in this video in an attempt to relieve my stress. Then you said "a Phoenix rising up from the ashes".The Phoenix is the symbol of Beirut! Legend has it, t's a city that was rebuilt from the ashes seven times. Thank you for this lovely coincidence

I had a rough day at work yesterday. I found myself crying throughout the practice. It felt weird, but necessary. “I choose”…. to cut toxic people out of my life. ❤ Thank you Adriene. Your words really resonated with me. You do an AMAZING thing. ❤
Sometimes I begin these videos so unintentionally judgemental... "how long will we just sit here" "this position hurts why would it help calm me" and every time by the end I feel so refreshed and new, teaches patience and faith. I've never been disappointed in one of Adriene's videos (by the end of it :') )
following the December 2021 calendar and i decided to do this practice at 8pm instead of working out because i felt very iffy and restless. about 2 minutes in, i felt the overwhelming urge to just close the video because i should be studying right now. but she said, "don't close the video because you don't have time." she truly knows. and at another time when she said, 'it happens sometimes'. i didn't feel like i 100% landed in the practice today but that's what it is, it's a practice. sometimes i do good, sometimes i don't. so i just have to keep doing to see it all i guess.
In this crazy, awful time of the corona virus I’ve been searching for Yoga with Adriene videos to relieve stress/anxiety/worry at the end of the day. Thank you so much for these videos to help us release . When I started this practice tonight I was so tense it almost hurt to breathe. I loved this practice and now feel ready for sleep. I choose to be strong. Namaste 🙏
Every morning waking up it's been really hard for me as I'm sure many of us on here have joined yoga with adrienne for similar reasons ..my breathing has recently felt really heavy and hard to complete a full cycle of breathe bc of all the corrupt politics and news that I feel obligated as a citizen to stay up to date with but I cannot thank you adrienne for you're service!

I closed my practice today thinking ... what would i do without you Adrienne, finding you has changed my life. "If you feel scattered..." at the start really resonated with me ... as did "befriend your breath". Powerful positive ending for me moving from negativity and "I can't" to the feeling of "I can" . Thank you Adrienne - I am so grateful for your generosity of knowledge, spirit and kindness.

I felt so wrecked emotionally today I cried through most of the practice. But it's so awesome I sticked to it anyway. I feel so much better now, it made me feel so proud after I finally got my foundation right and stopped wobbling. As always - thank you.
I found this practise today. Adrienne, I am so grateful for it. Thank you for such gentle and supportive time. I had a difficult day but now i choose to be strong and loving to myself.
Today I decided to swap today's practice with tomorrow's, because for the first time since I started yoga I felt really unwell, stressed and nervous and I had really need to feel more peaceful and relax after the 2 previous sessions who where a little hard for myself ! And I think I really needed it since I broke down and cry for the first time during the session! I feel a little better now! Thank you so much Adriene ! Namaste.

In today's practice, I realized that (even though I try to set an intention for my practice every time) I have been very focused on the physical of yoga. My body feels so much better when I stretch it, so I have been focused on what I physically need and how to best support myself physically. This is not a bad thing, but to consider and choose to believe that even this will support my emotional well-being throughout the day helped me to live more in the moment and FEEL it with my heart. THIS is the connection I've been seeking! I think my intention for the day, after this comment, is "I choose to believe." Thank you for this lovely recentering 🩵

Even just your first sentence brought me back to tears...I had a mental breakdown today and am still griefing for my favorite cat in the world. I miss her dearly and I can feel her presence which for some reason makes it even more painful, but also beautiful because I know she's sitting right next to me.
The last weeks have been very tense and stressful. Even though things get better, the stress is still in my blood. Yoga with adriene always releases stress and helps me to relieve. May God bless her soul!

This practice is one of those slow mindful ones. The last part needed my focus and concentration to balance then that lovely stretch with knee raised. Hi everyone! It's election day here in the US and with SO much at stake, I'm on pins and needles! This practice was just what I needed to get me back in alignment. 473 of us did the practice together and I like to think that TOGETHER we can also steer this country in the right direction! 💙💙💙

my favorite part of the day (stressful or not), is always when i take the time for myself, role out my mat and hear adriene's intro music start to play. it always makes me smile and that moment comes full circle at the end of the practice with a feeling of love and completion that i know, i made for myself.
I'm embarrassed to say I haven't done a yoga practice in probably over a year, but this one felt soooo wonderful as I went through the motions. I could feel every sweet stretch of my muscles and my joints pop happily after months and months of sedentary work. Thank you so much for posting these, Adriene, and knowing exactly what we need as we move through the chaos of life. Namaste.

That was exactly what I needed this morning! I felt really connected to my centre and core and it was a blessing as I am due in a couple of hours to have a check up mammogram as I am in remission from breast cancer and I wasn't aware I was feeling anxious and nervous about it. This practice has helped me to put everything back into perspective. A Big Gratitude from me and Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you Adriene for sharing your videos with us online. They've helped me through a lot of hard times and happy times. But what I really wanted to say was your positive messages of love and supporting yourself are really starting to resonate with me. I've bee working on self love and acceptance for about two years now and these videos are a daily reminder to do these things. They've become a tool in my toolbox when feeling anxious, sad, frustrated, etc. I'm finding more and more that I'm giving myself grace during the hard times and I know you play a huge role in that. Blessed Beloved Beauties! Love Day -11 was completed on Day - 12 as a make-up session. I was compelled to return to this session based on the tile. Melting the stress away is always a wonderful idea. it's the little things you notice with daily yoga. I started this practice clutching at my thighs in seated, palms tight to my legs. by the end I instinctively opened my palms up, accepting myself, others and the current climate of the world. thank you 💚 :)
Love love love this. It was a total reset for me. Yesterday I planned to do 10 days of doing more for myself and to reduce my cortisol. This was step 1. I choose commitment to my 10-day challenge. Hoping to build some self-trust and confidence. And de-stress!! ❤
I can't believe what you have guided me to do and aided me to do. I have PTSD and constantly struggle with hitting glass walls. One of my current ones was to do something about my unbearable stress and when you said "Say to yourself 'I choose'" I said "I choose to do something real about my stress and my glass walls" not thinking about yoga and then you continued "and considered it already done" it made me cry. I can't believe it... I'm crying and not from stress!!!
The result of a beautiful foundation following today’s practice reinforced my belief in the great powers of yoga. Upon slowing down in child’s pose, placing our palms firmly, I could intensely feel the comfort of our sweet earth and just wanted to remain there embracing the feeling, tears of relief streaming. But then, I became a phoenix rising from the ashes! Adriene, every practice with you is magical and I cannot tell you enough how very much I appreciate your lovely soul. Thank you! I almost didn’t practice yoga today because I didn’t do it first thing in the morning like I usually do. I started to overthink and become scatter-brained so I searched “yoga for anxiety” and this video came up. I’m so happy I chose this video because I feel a lot calmer now. 😊 Adriene’s videos have been my saving grace since 2018 ❤

I felt so wrecked emotionally today I cried through most of the practice. But it's so awesome I sticked to it anyway. I feel so much better now, it made me feel so proud after I finally got my foundation right and stopped wobbling. As always - thank you.
I found this practise today. Adrienne, I am so grateful for it. Thank you for such gentle and supportive time. I had a difficult day but now i choose to be strong and loving to myself.
Today I decided to swap today's practice with tomorrow's, because for the first time since I started yoga I felt really unwell, stressed and nervous and I had really need to feel more peaceful and relax after the 2 previous sessions who where a little hard for myself ! And I think I really needed it since I broke down and cry for the first time during the session! I feel a little better now! Thank you so much Adriene ! Namaste.

In today's practice, I realized that (even though I try to set an intention for my practice every time) I have been very focused on the physical of yoga. My body feels so much better when I stretch it, so I have been focused on what I physically need and how to best support myself physically. This is not a bad thing, but to consider and choose to believe that even this will support my emotional well-being throughout the day helped me to live more in the moment and FEEL it with my heart. THIS is the connection I've been seeking! I think my intention for the day, after this comment, is "I choose to believe." Thank you for this lovely recentering 🩵

Even just your first sentence brought me back to tears...I had a mental breakdown today and am still griefing for my favorite cat in the world. I miss her dearly and I can feel her presence which for some reason makes it even more painful, but also beautiful because I know she's sitting right next to me.

This practice is one of those slow mindful ones. The last part needed my focus and concentration to balance then that lovely stretch with knee raised. I do this one a few times a month, but whenever I'm in project mode with lots of people counting on me, deadlines, different departments to plan and support, etc... I'm just so greatful I have access to this knowledge. Finish line is two weeks away. I'll be back a few times each week. Cheers!
my favorite part of the day (stressful or not), is always when i take the time for myself, role out my mat and hear adriene's intro music start to play. it always makes me smile and that moment comes full circle at the end of the practice with a feeling of love and completion that i know, i made for myself.
I'm embarrassed to say I haven't done a yoga practice in probably over a year, but this one felt soooo wonderful as I went through the motions. I could feel every sweet stretch of my muscles and my joints pop happily after months and months of sedentary work. That was exactly what I needed this morning! I felt really connected to my centre and core and it was a blessing as I am due in a couple of hours to have a check up mammogram as I am in remission from breast cancer and I wasn't aware I was feeling anxious and nervous about it. This practice has helped me to put everything back into perspective. A Big Gratitude from me and Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you Adriene for sharing your videos with us online. They've helped me through a lot of hard times and happy times. But what I really wanted to say was your positive messages of love and supporting yourself are really starting to resonate with me. I've bee working on self love and acceptance for about two years now and these videos are a daily reminder to do these things. They've become a tool in my toolbox when feeling anxious, sad, frustrated, etc. I'm finding more and more that I'm giving myself grace during the hard times and I know you play a huge role in that. I've been feeling some stress the past few days and this was an amazing transition to a more centered calm.
it's the little things you notice with daily yoga. I started this practice clutching at my thighs in seated, palms tight to my legs. by the end I instinctively opened my palms up, accepting myself, others and the current climate of the world. thank you 💚 :)

Love love love this. It was a total reset for me. Yesterday I planned to do 10 days of doing more for myself and to reduce my cortisol. This was step 1. I choose commitment to my 10-day challenge. Hoping to build some self-trust and confidence. And de-stress!! ❤

I can't believe what you have guided me to do and aided me to do.
I have PTSD and constantly struggle with hitting glass walls. One of my current ones was to do something about my unbearable stress and when you said "Say to yourself 'I choose'" I said "I choose to do something real about my stress and my glass walls" not thinking about yoga and then you continued "and considered it already done" it made me cry. I can't believe it... I'm crying and not from stress!!!
The result of a beautiful foundation following today’s practice reinforced my belief in the great powers of yoga. Upon slowing down in child’s pose, placing our palms firmly, I could intensely feel the comfort of our sweet earth and just wanted to remain there embracing the feeling, tears of relief streaming. But then, I became a phoenix rising from the ashes! Adriene, every practice with you is magical and I cannot tell you enough how very much I appreciate your lovely soul. Thank you! I almost didn’t practice yoga today because I didn’t do it first thing in the morning like I usually do. I started to overthink and become scatter-brained so I searched “yoga for anxiety” and this video came up. I’m so happy I chose this video because I feel a lot calmer now. 😊 Adriene’s videos have been my saving grace since 2018 ❤
