Adriene, thank you! ✨❤️💗💖🙌 you have perfect timing with this one and your authentic self is so beautiful, kind and wise. Thank you for guiding me and so many others on this yoga journey called life. I am forever grateful for you and how you share your gifts.
Just want to encourage anyone who is not well enough to do the whole practice that it is okay to do what you can do. I have ME/CFS, and it`s not safe for me to do things like downward dog right now. I would love to, but if I push myself, I end up sick in bed for days. At first I was sad when I saw this, because I used to love practicing with Adriene. Then I remembered that it was okay to just do the seated and lying down portions of the video. I can do child`s pose or just sit during parts of the rest. I`m listening to my body and even a few poses is better than none!
I love this. Thank you so much for the reminder and encouragement to listen to our body and do what we can (I know I had to do so many modifications for this one and sit some poses out, but I'm still glad I did what I could). Sometimes just getting to the mat is enough :) Sending love your way ❤
I couldn't agree more. I have Ehlers Danlos and there's days where I can and days where I can't. Learning to listen to my body, slow down and adapt has been a massive journey for me and as you say, moving is enough whatever form that may take.
i saw this notification and GASPED - i have intense seasonal affective disorder and yoga is one of the few things that (sometimes) helps me through it 🥺 thank you for everything you do!
Take high doses of Vitamin D. Minimum 20,000iu per day. Also take Vitamin K2 with it. It works wonders. Say goodbye to Seasonal Affective Disorder. Wishing you well on your health journey. 😊
I've been starting to neglect myself again, shortening my practices. Decided to say no today and did a full one! So glad I did❤🎉 Namaste and perseverance everyone🙏
Im so glad to see benjy still around. I lost both my doggies in 2 months. They used to do your yoga with me and I havent been able to return to doing your videos without them 😓😓😓😓
Oh I am so sorry my love. I know this heart ache. Sending you love. Benji just turned ten and of course it already aches to think about practicing life without him! But we savor the time don’t we? And carry one another in our hearts forever. 💓
I'm so sorry to hear that😔 Maybe yoga can be a way of reconnecting with them? Either way, sending lots of love to you in hopes that it can lessen your grief🖤
Adriene I am weeping. I just realised 15 minutes ago that I’m getting SADS symptoms. I don’t get it every year. Yoga insulated me from them for years so I was ok. You picked me up off the floor yesterday. And today you met me on my mat and spoke the words. I. So excited to get to do this tonight xx
It’s been a tough go back at work since the new year. We are down 1/3 of ur staff and the pace has been tough. Despite not believing I had the 25 minutes in me, this was the perfect practice to do after work today. What a gift! Thank you thank you!
Great practice for calming our hearts. The world can seem OR feel like a bit crazy right now but HOPE is the answer. Things are falling into place and it will get better and better. Hang in there people. Trust God and pray! Peace and unite to our world. Thanks for being you, Adriene.
When we got to the light body scan, a part of my mind went "Oh. Like sunlight!" And I imagined a yellow light on my toes like water and was just filled with giddiness at the idea. Rarely does an emotional moment comes so easily from yoga, but when it does it's awesome.
I live on the Gulf coast and we broke a 130-year old snowfall record yesterday. We are stuck in the house so this practice spoke to me today! Thanks for helping me unstick my mood! ☀️
thank you Adriene for this great practice. I hurt my rip cage two weeks ako and are not able to to really execises or yoga. But this one works. Thanks again, have a wonderful week 🏵🌹🌺🌻

For this last week of January I'm going to deviate a bit from the Energy calendar to do a little chakra reset, using Yoga with Adriene's supportive practices. 🙏
January 2025: Energy - Day 26❤ I have a hangover. Just throwing that out there. And I honestly wasn't sure how my body would react. Behold; just what it needed. I love this month. Thank you ❤
Awesome practice, Adriene! Thank you for this loving, & kind yoga practice today. As someone, who has been suffering from SAD this Winter. Doing this practice today, has really helped to shine a light, in the dark places. Thank you again. ❤ I love ENERGY 2025! Daily yoga, whoo! 🎉 See you again tomorrow, Namaste. 🙏🧡🌞

Energy day 26 🎉, thank you, Adriene, I loved today's practice, its such a good to let everything go and be present on your mat, although I did get interrupted by family a few times, which was annoying, but I managed to get back into my practice fairly quickly.💖🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻
Got a notification about a new video. I was amazed and I rushed on here for Reflect Day07:12:24✅ it's just what I need as UK is having storms after storms, hope it's not as bad and it's the getting shorter days and longer nights that brings about SAD.moods...this was so comforting and peaceful to practice. 1:35❤Thank you Adriene for that....💞🤗"I inhale lots of love in and exhale lots of love out"💞🤗. I am grateful for the timing of this video. As an RN, i can say SADD is a real diagnosis. This is a great practice on a first day, quiet lazy sunday morning.

So true! And what a necessary message. We have to be our own light first, before we can help others and hopefully lift some of that gloom in the world x
Thank you, for this gorgeous yoga practice today Adriene. I came to the mat really anxious, I'm not quite sure why. But I couldn't shake the anxiety, it was just growing, and growing. It took a while of doing this practice, and pausing the video a couple of times, to add in movements my body needed. But I did it, and I feel a lot better now. Thank you Adriene, you are the best. I'm so glad to be doing this months yoga calendar, REFLECT, alongside you. See you on the mat tomorrow. Namaste. 🙏🧡💙💚

This has to be one of the best yoga sessions I've ever done. Wow. I felt like I unlocked core memories of happiness during this. Thank you, Adriene & Benji!
For one reason or another I have missed a couple of practices recently and my body was craving this - such a tonic in so many ways. So much gratitude as ever. 🙏
Thank you so much, Adriene! You’re always there when we need you. 🤗 I visualized the light as pieces of armor being fitted onto each part of my body. ✨ Feeling stronger than ever and ready to get through the winter ❄️ 💪
Thanks very much, Adriene, for reminding us of the tensions this season can bring. As you help us to navigate and get ready to surrender and connect with each other far and near. You're an angel 😇. Love to you and my yoga family. Have a wonderful week. Namaste ❤️ 🙏 👋 ❤️ 🙏 .
I’m so grateful YWA has created this resource! Like Adriene, I used to live in Austin where I never experienced Seasonal Affective Disorder- Austin averages 300 days of sun a year. They think SAD is largely triggered when not enough sunlight hits the eyes in the winter months, and the body stops creating the right cocktail of hormones that helps us feel energized. Now that I live in Wisconsin, I suffer from SAD each winter. Energy is hard for me to generate for much of the year. For anyone else suffering, there is a fabulous workbook called Winter Blues Survival Guide by Rosenthal and Benton that is a great resource as well. Thank you for addressing so many needs we have Adriene! So thoughtful.
suffering from SAD here and just wanted to let everyone know that this works! I was crying for real and feeling all hopeless when starting this video and by the end of the practice i am all clear and positive!
I've done this one a few times now, particularly when I found it difficult to get my sorry ass onto the mat. SAD IS a real thing - I would put it down to those of us that still have hibernation in their DNA ☺️. Anyways, this morning...up to ten minutes in and I'm thinking 💭 I still don't wanna DO this 💭 then came the magical moment of feeling it working. At the end I was seriously shinin' my light... hallelujah. Loads of Love and much gratitude Adriene ✨✨✨❤️☮️🤗🙏
Thank you so much for this practice! It moves with intention. It was a gentle, warm hug that helped me regain my energy after a long week, and just in time to start a new one. 'Last but no least, shine a little light'. May the blessings of this season embrace you all ✨💖
I've been a passenger on the YWA train since 2019, and I can't begin to say how much I love watching the evolution of Adriene as an instructor. Love you Adriene, so grateful to practice with you
This practice was heaven sent for me today. I don't know that I experienced SAD today, but I did experience sad. I didn't want to feel it; I didn't understand it. I was scared to give it space today. Thank you, thank you, thank you for always being a safe space. I especially needed it today. It feels so good to sit, follow, breathe, love, together. 💛💜💙
Hej from Sweden where the 5 hours of daylight (and "daylight" is relative on these mostly cloudy days) is really getting to me. Tack så mycket, Adriene! 🙏❄💕

Thank you so much, Adriene! You’re always there when we need you. 🤗 I visualized the light as pieces of armor being fitted onto each part of my body. ✨ Feeling stronger than ever and ready to get through the winter ❄️ 💪
Adriene-- your channel is a go to for preventative care for my SADD. So excited to try this targeted practice. Thank you so much!!!!
Truly perfect for a dark cold UK evening - thank you xxx
Benji 😍 the moment I take out my yoga mat and put on your videos my cat jumps on the mat, stretches and sits down to listen to you 😀
January 2025 Prana...by the time I finished the sun had risen. I hope those living with SAD feel enlightened by this practice 😇
Greetings from the Laurentians. 💖Pinky snow and sky. 🙏🏻
@@mapblanchet5165 💗 love those sunrises
I don't have SAD but I've been in a real exercise rut and I just sat down to do a different class of yours but then this appeared ✨️👏
Thank you so much for this wonderful practice ❤❤
Thank you for the LIGHT, Adriene!
suffering from SAD here and just wanted to let everyone know that this works!
Your videos are the closest thing to unconditional love that I experienced in my day to day life. It helps me in every way. Thankyou Adrian
Doing this on a foggy morning, perfect start into a busy day/week.
Love you Adriene, so grateful to practice with you
Thank you so much, that was so lovely and perfect timing as feeling the disorder much more this year x
I can't express how badly I needed this and how perfectly timed it came
This practice was heaven sent for me today. I don't know that I experienced SAD today, but I did experience sad. I didn't want to feel it; I didn't understand it. I was scared to give it space today. Thank you, thank you, thank you for always being a safe space. I especially needed it today. It feels so good to sit, follow, breathe, love, together. 💛💜💙
This video is pure medicine. Thank you, Adriene.
Beautiful Sunday practice ❤thank you
Hej from Sweden where the 5 hours of daylight (and "daylight" is relative on these mostly cloudy days) is really getting to me. Tack så mycket, Adriene! 🙏❄💕
This is a very timely practice! Today has just been drab for me as this time of year usually is and it helped to some extent to just connect back with my body. Thanks Adriene and this lovely community. Have a cheerful day🙏
