Check the screws that hold the plates in. I had one that was loose under the grip and once I used lock-tite on it I had no more issues
I have the 6” “new” Anaconda and I absolutely love it. It makes me look like a better shooter than I am
I really like mine too
Love those grips!
They definitely set it off lol
Nice Gun & beautiful grips. If we ever have a failure to fire on a DA revolver then we we run it SA. I believe the hammer typically hits a bit harder. I haven't personally had this happen in my guns or handloads but 2 or 3 times in 40 years. But I have seen it with others at the range. Thank you.
I think I have it narrowed down to a single lot of Winchester LPP.
Looks awesome man, great video. I don't know if you remember me but after watching your last Anaconda video I went out and bought one, I love it 😂
That’s awesome! 😎
Love the snake guns! Thank you.
Thank you!!!
I prefer the S&W revolvers, but I do like the snake guns from Colt. Glad it is working its issues out.
I prefer the cylinder release for a defensive gun on the smith.
I got the Python, love it. This is next on my list
That combat python has my eye but so does the new Viper they just announced
It looks like a good hit on that primer. And to answer your question from the last video, after seeing this I'll say 308 and 44mag, neither of which I own right now🤔
The super Blackhawk wouldn’t fire it either. Great choices!
Want to get the New KODIAK PORTED BARREL SHOULD HELP With RECOIL see its coming out soon $1600
That viper has my attention too!
Only issue I had with my Anaconda was that I got a 4.25" version when I ordered the 6". And this wasn't the first time Ive encountered that problem. Ordered the King Cobra DAO four times. Each time the SA/DA model arrived. On the fourth try Colt agreed to take it in and do a factory DAO conversion.
lol I would not have had the patience to deal with that 😂
@@thegundungeon Oh I lost it after the first time. Luckily Colt CS is really good. The factory conversion cost me nothing. And the DAO snubbie has been flawless. I carry it and the 3” KC most days.
Those light primers give me anxiety, just watching you Iol
lol 😂 eh any hang fire I’ve ever had was always old military surplus stuff. Seems like new stock is either bang or dud right away
Having same issues with my winchester primers.
Well I hate to hear that but glad it’s not just me lol 😂
I shot my anaconda for the first time today. Had several light primer strikes. I also had light strikes with large winchesters in my main 1911 which has never had that issue before. I think winchester large are just a bit thicker than the usual CCI primers I usually use..
Looking like Dirty Harry shooting that thing. Hope you got it worked out. Otherwise it’s just an expensive paper weight lol.
HEY YOU GOT NEW GRIPS??? WHERE FROM??? MINE HATES REMINGTON PRIMERS
Altamont grips
Rem 1 1/2 or Rem 5 1/2? I've never had a lite primer strike with 1 1/2's. 5 1/2 are much harder and needs a mighty strike to ignite.
Colt has become pathetic. Almost as reliable as a Taurus now… keep spending big bucks on sub par craftsmanship
Iono man, the issue with this one was super tight tolerance in my opinion. Tight fitting with tight tolerance typically requires a little breaking in.
