Go to the Fort Scott Munitions TH-cam channel and watch them take black bear with their pistol calibers. They were using carbines, due to Canadian laws, but the .380 was one of the calibers used. They even have an autopsy of the bear shot with the .380 to show the wound channel in actual flesh.
They work good enough, I won't carry them though, maybe in cold weather for thicker clothing but I wasn't impressed with this offering. This round in other calibers performance was far better, I do carry the 38spl +P in my 357
Everything I've tested in Fort Scott Munitions TUI has performed exceptionally. I'm really curious to test the 45acp. I don't know how they do it the TUI looks so similar in profile to the regular ball ammo that doesn't tumble I can't figure it out. I guess it doesn't really matter because it works. Looks they work well. Maybe not as good as the other round fired, but still put holes where they're needed.
