2021 Colt Anaconda engraved

- This is the new Colt Anaconda that was sent out to be engraved by the Colt customs shop. At the time this video was uploaded, there are only 50 engraved versions made.
This is Colt factory authorized.

Damn YOU! I was getting the Anaconda as my last snake gun of the new model Colts. Then I saw this. Need I say more? Geez!
Wilson Combat makes a upgrade rear adjustable sight and a upgrade front sight that really makes that Colt Anaconda a super revolver.
I have a pair of these revolvers with 6” barrels. I bought one and just had to have twins

This gun is so gorgeous. You might like Rugers and Smiths but Colt snake guns with their ventilated ribs are best looking revolvers

How can you find out how many were engraved ?
Call up the engraver. Colt informed me of who does their engraving. Then I called them.
I found one at a pawn shop that specializes in guns. I saw one there.. I’ve never seen anything like that before. They are asking $2400

Yeah, it is a shame that Colt was so screwed up in their thinking as well as shunning the firearms community that they literally ran their business into the ground and lost it. Colt is not elite, in my personal opinion non of the manufacturers are. They just produce stuff. And if something catches your eye, and you have the means and desire, you buy it.
Funny thing is, 95% or more of the time in today's world.... most revolvers are made better and stronger than the older Colts and Smiths.
The older ones were and are legends, but with today's CNC machines and metallurgy, many of today's guns can excel guns of yesterday with performance, accuracy and overall quality at much a cheaper production cost.
In fact, I'm glad it says Connecticut. I never would have bought the original. The original was such a poor quality they decided to use the Pythons style action inside the gun this time to improve the overall quality and performance of the Anaconda
If you are going to take the time to engrave a revolver, please put wood grips on it.

I have a question. Did you by any chance asked how many engraved Pythons were done so far?
As of the posting of the video there were only 50 engraved and though they still have an open order to engrave more, they have not seen any come in for engraving for a while. Thanks for asking.
PS all I did was look up their web sight and call them. If you have other questions that I can't answer, you might be able to do the same.

Nope, still not shot. I am waiting for engraved versions to flood the market before I shoot it.
This is why I don't have any super grade guns, I like to shoot my guns, and such, the value goes down. I even shoot my 1860 Colt Army. Your gun looks awesome.
I was tempted to shoot it the other day. The longer I have it, the harder it is not to shoot it Lol. The 1860 is one that I would love to aquire one day. Those are real firearms of history. I also would love to get the Brown Bess Musket ( reproduction due to the cost of an original ). Thanks for the compliment on the Colt and thanks for watching!
Hey, was looking for some help on the Anacondas, please. Specifically it seems there's 2 engraved models out?
There's the Davidson engraved models with rubber grips, and another with wood grips, the label marked "Armory Style B+ Coverage Cut Engraving," "Custom Shop Model." The UPC code appears the same.
From pictures it does appear, maybe, there's slight differences in the engraving. Of course, I'm looking at internet pictures, so, there's that. :)
Aside from different grip sets, can anybody tell me the differences between the engraving, if any? Is one of higher quality? Is there any other differences between the 2 models?

Yes, absolutely. If it is a Davidson Exclusive, the Anaconda with the wood grips is the exact same engraving as the rubber. It is only a choice of grip style. As of now, these options are the only Colt factory authorized engraved options.
You may find other custom engraved, but it may not be factory authorized.
Somewhere in this comment section I left the phone number for the engraver that is authorized by Colt. They will answer questions.
