Great to see. I’m sure this is what the LR engineers had in their hearts but the regs around CO2 emissions, crash protection for others, wheels NOT protruding outside the arches etc mean they cannot sell this set-up and could never just do a straight replacement for the original. You should go with #New Defender #Free the Beast!
Right... That's exactly how I feel when I think about these Wranglers and gladiators... Yeah that's nice and all that you made The regulators happy.. about 2 hours after somebody buys that thing it's going straight to the chop Shop and getting all kinds of stuff done to it that's going to cut the mpg in half.. you might as well sell them that way!!!
What I think is going to happen... I bet Jeep gets into the side by side market... Mahindra's going there .... Maybe they can skip some of the regulations if they get into the side by side market... They're going to have to make a better pickup truck to tow that stuff though... Got to beef up the Gladiator a little bit.... Make it more like the power wagon.

Love it!!!! Wheeled with the Nor Cal crew in Moab and had a blast. Would love to hook up some time👍👍🤣
Maybe a nice overlander.
Pulls 8200 lbs, seats 7, and rolled the same trails as the classics in Moab. Very capable!!! We wheel our 5 Jeeps and 4Runner as well all summer long
Defender Suspension: Thank God our owner got an extended warranty..
Also Defender Suspension: 37's..? This is interesting...
We have to push the limits and capabilities. We have maxed this platform out at this point…
It looks like a supped up Ford escape
