I bet those E rated toyos don’t feel great, too bad they dont make a D rating in toyo/nitto MT’s in 35/18
Seems like it rides pretty terrible after the lift. Still using air suspension? They dont seem to do well in the higher positions or aftermarket pushing them up further.
This was a couple builds ago. We’ve made several changes since then and working on even more

It performs like a Champ! Mine has a 1.5 suspension lift with the 33’ BFG’s and Yes it can go most places a Jeepster goes! But a bit more comfortable! Loving it! Cheers
What is the offset of your wheel? Btw love this Defender, I also want to have the 18 instead of 20” wheel but not sure if it fits the front.
So 35s fit on the stock Defender with no modifications? I just got a 2024 and would love to get a set of 35s with smaller wheels for off-roading it EDIT NVM he lifted it...

Why is each car recorded from a different perspective? The recordings should be from the same place so that you can see how these cars behave. It doesn't make sense to record each car from a different perspective.
Are the wheels original Land Rover? What tire does the car have?
Rims on this build are TuffAnts. 35” Toyo Open Country MT’s. Downsized calipers to fit the 18” wheels
Lifted but still low ground clearance.

Drives very well. More body roll and mud terrains are of course noisier

Three builds ago on just 35’s. Yes. That one had a rear locker. This is before we started removing the rear sway bar
So when JLR quote the ground clearance for the new Defender - it is when the suspension is fully jacked up and there is zero suspension articulation, as demonstrated here.
Correct. We have completely different setup on our latest build with 37’s. Huge plans for the next one in 2024 with 615 HP and 39’s
Proof, right here - that traction control is no substitute for axle difflocks.

This is several builds ago. We’re running 37’s on our V8110 named KONG. Running it again down the Rubicon Trail this weekend

How does it feel having those 37’ on a defender is it smooth?
Plus sizing tires always alters some driving characteristics. Still drives 80-90 great and substantially better off road. CG has been raised with the lift and the tires
Stupid question from someone who has never ever gone offloading: do you actually go back the same way you went? Or are the "point A to point B" trips?
We do both. This trail is an out and back. Just ran it again last week in our New Defender 110V8 on 37’s (KONG)
when it slide cause its slight.
We're getting closer and closer to the point where batteries outperform diesel motors. As soon as electric competes with diesel we'll see the end of the ICE. That's not happening any time soon...

This is Big Bertha - a P400 6 cylinder
What tyres are those on the vehicle?
BFG All Terrain K02. Not our favorites, was only choice at the time. Recommend Nitto Trail Grapplers, Mickey Thompson MTZ’s, or Nitto Ridge Grapplers

@@GauravSingh-bn6lw it’s good on snow, dirt, and pavement. Not good at rock crawling and sidewall is much weaker than the tires I mentioned above
Hello, my car is P300 SHE. I have installed a front runner on the roof. I want to install 35tires and 4 lift kits. I don’t know if this setting will be too heavy or affect the engine or other aspects？thank you
That will be a lot of added weight for the P300. Stay with a lighter tire like a KO2 should help. The BFG’s don’t measure true to size so less trimming as well

@@dvl1982ify that’s a 2” subframe lift with 2” lift rods on the white build (Big Bertha). We’re doing 33’s with 2” lift rods regularly for clients
