I like your packing style! Simple, organized, modular.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice. Thanks so much for sharing...Going to follow your lead with some of this gear for my defender.
Have fun!
Sick man. Would love to see a follow-up video of unpacking and using all this gear at the site. Would really put things in perspective.
Great idea!
Great video, thanks for sharing the packing guide!
You're welcome!
Love it!
Thanks!!
Super Nice Love too see someone using the Land Rover as a OverLand car I would use it too I would tow a off road trailer as I older guy for comfort
Trailers are awesome! Give you lots of extra capacity and a great bed
@@Autoplicity The one that looks good with the Land Rover Defender towing a Bruder EXP-6 Off Road Caravan
Cracking video. Lots of good ideas in there. Shame you're not I the UK!
Great video - many thanks for sharing your tips. I’m about to order a new Defender and this has answered many of my questions. That said I’m in Australia so not sure about how I can buy some of this gear yet. Again thanks for sharing. Cheers
We ship worldwide so feel free to reach out to us by calling 800-299-1028 or sales@autoplicity.com when ready!
Great video !! 🇮🇩🇮🇩
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice setup👌🏻
Glad you like it!
Very useful... The most interesting part for me was the jack relocation. Is that mounted in any way? You obvioulsy needed to move it for the dual battery, but it's a great idea not having to unpack to whole boot to get to it when it's stored under the floor...
Could you make a separate detailed video on how you installed the tailgate table? I’m sure a lot of us defender owners are very curious how it’s installed!
Good idea can do. It’s very simple, just. A few extra holes drilled into the back of the tailgate table frame
@@Autoplicity no drilling into the tailgate itself I assume?
나의 드림카… my dream car
How do you use the tailgate table and have the fridge out at the same time? Is there enough space to stand between them?
Great video! How do you access the factory air compressor? Are you removing the fridge each time?
There's a cutout in the side of the box just for this purpose
Great content. Curious if after a year you are still rocking the Defender and if you have had any issues with side punctures or tire issues. I have an overlanding Wrangler but thinking of moving to defender. Little concerned about trail ability.
3 years and 10,000 off road miles later, it's been absolutely bulletproof!
What kind of tent do you have on top? Thanks for the information, very informative! cheers
Hey George that's the Roofnest Condor
My Defender is Due Aug 20…..22 model…Can’t wait!!!!
awesome build. are you at all worried about the reliability? please let us know if you run into anything. i am definitely getting one reguardless but just heard about a few things here and there. kinda worries me as far as being in the field.
Have owned many Land Rover's and they've been just as reliable as any other brand I've owned
Hey Sean, I could not get the link to your Front Runner Tailgate table, do you have an updated link? THANKS!! GREAT VIDEOS!
It's the TBRA030, currently out of stock
Hi, it’s possible to combine front runner product like the water tank on the original Defender roof rack? Or do you need special adapters?
Greetings, Alex
Yes that's exactly what we've done
Hey Sean, what system do you use to fasten things to the Defender roof rack. I just got my 22 Defender and cannot find much on systems or attachment system for that rack???
We use t nuts that you can buy on amazon, and slide into the channels of the roof rack
Did u make any mods like body and roof reinforcements and most importantly the suspension?
No need on Defender, the load bearing rating of the roof is an industry high.
Just curious about your fridge box and what material you used to build it? Smart design as you can take it out when not in use!
Thanks! It's 1/2" birch wood, coated in some bed liner
Do you still have the plans or dimensions for the fridge box? If yes would you share?
👌🏽
Cooler full of hotdogs and beer, sleeping pad and bag, and fishing gear. This is crazy overkill.
What costs of these kits with all complete ? Just to give us an idea before buy a new defender !
Which kit are you referring to?
Pls give me link of the rear table present on 11:17 tks
Links to everything in the description, here you go enjoy autoplicity.com/14511860-front-runner-outfitters-tbra030-drop-down-tailgate-table?
@@Autoplicity thank you. pls give me an other info about it. when it is closed in motion it cause some noise?
Makes no sound at all because it closes very tightly
Would like to know just how much weight you have on your roof rack when you head away? I am well aware of landrovers claimed roof rack weight capacity of 168 (which you have to minis the weight of the roof rack which is 36kg) giving you an dynamic 'ON ROAD' (this is very important 'ON ROAD') weight capacity of 132kg, which is still really good. But as nearly all roof rack manufacturers fail to tell prospective buyers, is that load capacity plummets when going off road due to the nature of forces put through the rack under these conditions. Most have a formula for off-road that is 1.5 which basically means, if 132kg = 1.5 (for ONROAD) then 88kg = 1 (for OFF ROAD) Or basically 2/3rds of ON ROAD capacity. NOTE: nowhere in land rovers literature is this stated that I or others have been able to find. So naturally I am curious to how much weight you have up there with the tent, the awning, fuel, water etc.
Not as much as it looks. 120 tent, 60 fuel, 70 water, 15 gear. Pounds.
@@Autoplicity you’re probably right on the off-road limit at 120kg total. The 168 is for on road and your supposed to minis the weight of the rack itself off that 168. I’d have a look at the defender roof rack documentation. If you have accident or roll it while off road, I bet insurance will do anything and everything to say you were over the technically allowed weight for the roof capacity while in an off road environment.
Mate...all that just for a weekend camping trip? 🙄
All depends on how you like to camp. Only thing we change for a 10 day trip is more food
Lmaoooooo
How much stuff ?????
Not sure the police likes you covering your license plate... But nice video for the rest!
