Cheers buddy, the plugs are purely in there for my peace of mind so as not to drop anything down the holes, and although it sounds unlikely, imagine a small nut or washer whilst assembling all the engine mounts etc., slips out your fingers and drops down in to the cylinder... so an old plug is better than a wedge of cloth which can easily be sucked in the hole when you turn the engine over by hand for some other reason and then you've got to fish that out somehow!! I'll be popping a new set in shortly, they're just there for peace of mind.

how much is the torque for those bolts in pounds
Can i remove the jugs and pistons from a 2019 1200 engine i have and slip them in my 2002 883? I would install new rings and use the 883 heads. No one has told me if this is doable.

What the tip for the bottom push rod, cover seal
ok, may be a dumb question, may not.... BUT.. Why keep the spark plugs in?
Cheers buddy, the plugs are purely in there for my peace of mind so as not to drop anything down the holes, and although it sounds unlikely, imagine a small nut or washer whilst assembling all the engine mounts etc., slips out your fingers and drops down in to the cylinder... so an old plug is better than a wedge of cloth which can easily be sucked in the hole when you turn the engine over by hand for some other reason and then you've got to fish that out somehow!! I'll be popping a new set in shortly, they're just there for peace of mind.
why didnt you polish everything
Hi .. Just wanted to ask after your health since your heart attack last year. I dont know if you have lost some weight of just trimmed your beard but you are looking good.
Thank you so much mate, I'm doing fine... meds every day, diet and exercise and firmly on the mend.
