Thanks for the video! Now let also give you a tip back as a graphic designer. The letters are never spaced out evenly. Its a rather complicated procedure of matching their distance and the negative spaces created between them. Modern design and typing programs do a semi-decent job into doing it automatically, but when it comes to design elements like logos, a good designer always tweeks the spacing manualy. Now since nobody wants to take a full seminar in typography, the best thing to do is stick a length of painters tape and mark the positions of the letters. Clean the area from the glue residue, re-attach the painters tape and use it as a guide.

Rather than apply each letter individually, I like to place all letters on a clean table, spacing them to where they look "right". Now take wide masking tape and place over all letters. Carefully remove the backing tape from each letter, align on your vehicle and stick all letters at once.

using rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive and before completely removing the adhesive put painters tape on all 4 sides to make re-adhering of emblems close to factory as possible

When laying a tile mosaic, you actually lay out the tiles face down on adhesive paper. Then when it's as you want it, you flip the whole thing over onto the thin set. You could do the same thing with the emblem. Tape over the logo as-is. Trim the edges so it hangs over as little as possible. Then I've seen dental floss or thin fishing line used to slice the emblem off the body. Of course you'd want to be super careful not to disturb the tape. Then do exactly as you did, except all your letters would be aligned precisely as they were to begin with. The only challenge is making double-damn sure you disturb that tape! You could even use Gorilla tape or duct tape, then take 10 minutes to remove the residue with a Q-Tip when you're all done.

I just cleaned off with 99% ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL and used Gorilla Glue, the badge is more flush to the body than with tape and it wont fall off again as double sided tape will always eventually fail.

I use the eraser wheel. Put it in my drill and viola it’s gone. Use masking tap and put the letters face down on tape to get them lined up then after you get them where you want peel the tape and line up just like you have with the masking tape.

Water and cold and hot weather will definitely break down the super glue. It basically works on things that are not left outside. At least not for a very long time.
