Dane! Thank you so so much! :) You are a gem sent from the heavens! I passed my driving test on the first go this week in Finglas test centre and i watched your videos non stop for the last few weeks to learn the signs, driving tips, dont do things etc.Your help really calmed my anxieties honestly. Thank you a million times and sending you all of the best energy in return!
Dane I want to thank you alot, passed my test 3 weeks ago in Dun Laoghaire. I binge watched your videos in the month leading to the test. Your help really calmed my nerves. Thanks a million! Your information is second to know. Couldn't recommend you enough
Thanks so much Dane, for these wonderful videos which I binge- watched for the past few weeks. I just passed my test on the first attempt yesterday in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. Only made 2 grade 2 faults. Thank you, thank you!
I know when I was driving to Balla and back to Castlebar. I was trying to use the break. To slow down near the Residential Areas. But I was moving a bit to fast. So I got to know when to. Use the footbreak to slow down or stop properly? Especially at that Roundabout near the old Barracks. Where that car passed me. And I know the Handbrake is only to be used. To help park the car when it's parked. And when it's turned off to. So that it doesn't move.
Passed my test today. Watched a lot of your videos in advance and found them very helpful. Thanks very much Dane. I'll recommend your videos to other learners
Hi Dane , thank you so much for your detailed driving tips... you are great 👍 I passed my test today and I'm so thankful to you ❤ I watched all your videos and it helped me lots with my preparations. I'm going to suggest your channel to every one I know.. I never saw any other classes even the instructor I dealt with giving any detailed instructions and it's very clear explanations.. thanks million..👍
Do u need to signal out while passing the parked car or a van in the housing estate when there is noone else on the road...? Noone who can see that signal?
If you are crossing the halfway point yes but it's more important to be aware of right of way and moving out gradually. Indicating in these situations can be over analysed.
Yes but it's not really strictly interpreted, don't zone in on the indicators, think about clearance and Yielding as well. There's a lot more to dealing with parked cars than indicators.
Hi Dane, to overtake parked vans like the one in your video here, do we have to indicate right to go around it? Or is the indicator not necessary? Thanks!!
No don't do that in case people think you're parking, don't worry about the indicator too much in these situations. It's far more important to be aware of oncoming cars that might have priority and giving them sufficient clearance.
@@DaneTygheletsdrive Hi Dane, I was due to have my test this morning and I got a text an hour beforehand from RSA to say it was cancelled. I had travelled down from college for the test. The next one now isn't for a month. Do you know if there's anything I can do or just have to wait another 4 weeks? Thanks a million.
I'm curious when you're performing a reverse around the corner, is it allowed to stop halfway through the manoeuvre and look right and left before going back around the corner, then do the same? I was told this by an instructor...granted the instructor only told me this recently, not when I went for my first but when I failed the first one he decided to introduce this.
@@DaneTygheletsdrive i will never be ready... i did 30 hours and still failed. I believe i will fail 2nd exam as well. I dont even know where do those faults come from, examiner doesnt go through them with you. You just get the score sheet.... I failed even on one particular. I got 4 marks on Reaction to Hazard. I have no idea what hazard he meant... Then 3 on progress on the straight. I have no idea why. Always accelerated fast and kept the speed limit whenever i could. Then 2 marks on turnabout (God knows why). Use of accelerator, clutch, gears.... Just number of them, but you are never told what exactly you have done wrong. I am sure that the second exam will be failed since I am literally not being told what exactly i have done wrong. Dont you think that it would be better if examiner explained to you exactly where you made those mistakes? Why dont they send you a footage with the description (like on those youtube videos where you show the driving and explain at the same time). Would it be too much work? I spent already €1500 :(

Do u need to signal out while passing the parked car or a van in the housing estate when there is noone else on the road...? Noone who can see that signal?
always signal when you intend to go over your half of the road even if the road is narrow
If you are crossing the halfway point yes but it's more important to be aware of right of way and moving out gradually. Indicating in these situations can be over analysed.
Hai, do we need to indicate signal each time when ever overtake a parked car in residential area?
Not really, depends on how far you are moving out
@@DaneTygheletsdrive So any time we cros the center line of the road, we need to indicate signal ? I am I right?
Thanks in advance

It's good to indicate if you are moving out over the halfway point

Yep. I passed last week and did this. Take as much time as you need. Slow and steady.
It's fine to stop halfway through the manoeuvre and look around yes.

Do you by any change know how accurate the waiting list estimator is? I got told next available test is in December.
I think there might be some glitches from time to time, try changing your test location and you'll probably find new dates appear.
Dane I failed my driving test over 8 weeks ago and I rebooked it straight away and I haven’t gotten an invitation yet to book it again is this normal?
They made it so you will only get a invite again at least 6-8 week after your last test
Interesting, it can depend on the test centre and demand may vary from place to place.

You beat me too it!
