You're so talented. I would love to use this structure gel with dual forms! I used your method of using the french tip dual form to create a perfect c-curce base, since some of my nails are completely flat. Then I use a regular dual form on top to create the structure of the nail. My nails look like it's been done by a professional. The overlay looks so good on top of my natural nail, i dont even bother with nail polish. I look at my nails with immense pride.
Denise I have a similar nail bed to you my nail tech call's mine "ski jump nail's" (could be an Aussie saying lol) but yes mine would need many layer's like you showed...I found it really interesting (I'm odd I know lol) and you explained it so well I'm sure it will help people who do actually do nail's...thankyou for sharing stay safe xo 💜💅💜
denise, don't you think this structure gel (versus the pot) is too thin to do any type of build-up? also after applying and curing the gel do you wipe and cleanse before applying the gel polish? or do you apply the gel polish over the tacky layer. thanks
I think this is too thin and soft to build extensions but for overlays it’s good . Yes you can put the gel polish right over the second layer of gel without wiping it .
Hi Denise would you soak these off or infil them. I am using dip powder at the moment and I am struggling with infilling them as I do not want to soak off my nails I find the acetone too drying. I also don't think I need such a hard product with the dip powder. Would love to know how you maintain them.
I never soak anything off . You are right , it’s too drying , making the nails brittle . I always file off . You fill this the same way you would any builder gel . This is just a soft gel , meaning it’s soakable , if you wish to soak . It’s not a hard gel . Try it . You will love builder gels .
@@Denisejohn65NailEd You answered my question. I just put it on two nails that kept peeling with Foundation Flex, it feels much stronger and like it will be a good overlay. I don't want to soak off every time. I will be doing backfills. Thanks for your video, it's the best and seemly only one on this topic.
How do you find this is to soak off? I have the full system as well but want to be sure I can actually soak off and not have to file off. I've heard varying things...
It’s fine to soak off . But preferably I file off ….. but that’s not very often as you can fill overlays . Doing too many soaks to close together is bad for your nails and skin . It’s very very drying . You should learn to file off . It’s better .
Well , there are gel polish thinners on the market . You can search . Or you could add some thinner consistency top coat to it . If it is overly thick it could be a bad batch . You may have to just toss it in the bin .
@@Denisejohn65NailEd what is your opinion on nail hardeners/strengthening polish. Some have biotin in them. Are they basically the same as protein bond, primer, or builder gel?
Thank YOU for such a precise and "to the point" VIDEO... I was crying while trying to figure out how to use this!
You are welcome !
Awww don’t cry ….
It really is a good product .
Ms. Denise, I love that you do your videos in real time and not fast forward and that you explain every detail.....
Thank you 😊
Very nice demo! I also like these products, especially since I’m not licensed and just like doing my own nails.

For the video 😍
I know this is old, but do you back fill these?
I started out with Gelish/Harmony gels , & love them! I used to overlay my natural nails ! Great tutorial !! 😍💅😘💕
Thanks Janeen 😊
Love your channel, great info! New to nails myself and new sub.
Thank you 😊❤️
Looks great. Can you do a fill using these products, if so would you do it like a hard gel fill?
Yes , you can fill these and fill them the same way you do hard gel .
@@Denisejohn65NailEd thank you for your reply
They turned out really niice
Lovely!
Thank you for sharing this. I am using an overlay on my nails right now. I'm using Young Nails Mani Q gel. Trying to get away from so much filing.
This is great. What nail lamp do you recommend?
Madam Glams lamp Or a sun5 or Sun5 plus
New subbie!
Is the gelish structure gel hard enouph for stiletto?
I don’t think so . You need a hard gel .
@@Denisejohn65NailEd thank you
Do you remove tacky layer of structure gel before applying color gel polish? And can the top coat be used on top of gel polish?
What now ? 🤔
If I want to put a color on top, at what step do I do that? And does gel polish need a deferent top coat than the top coat you used in the video?
That dry brush step is weird. :-) Thanks for clarifying!
can i use the first two for preping my nails for a gel application??
Yes , I think so .

Nice
Is this supposed make the nails hard or strong?
Both

if u buy gelish on amazon/ebay/ect just be careful cuz theres a lot of fakes out there
It’s easy to tell which is fake and which is real . I buy from sellers in California . No overseas people .
Thank you for this video ❤
You’re welcome and thank you for watching ❤️
