Bjp and RSS is already doing that.
The right wing ecosystem in our country, in recent times , has crossed all limits by their venomous speech and actions.
      Remember haridwar dharm sabha or
      Maha panchayat in haryana
Where members of right wing organisations openly called for killing and arson.
What do you think media is doing now a days?
      Same.
      Vilification of one particular community.
And it is being rapped by SC , penalised by NBDSA and other self regulating organisations of print media and broadcasting media.
What is happening in Tamil nadu is totally wrong
I totally take this as an offence.
Because these political parties whether DMK ,or BJP are making damage to our social fabric and multicultural society for petty gains.

The world war was started by Christians, but you never said all Christians were like that. In Mahabharatam, Krishna killed many people in war, but no one is saying people who follow Krishna are killers. If a few bad people from Muslim countries did that, then you would say the whole religion is bad. Consider the Palestine War, which has resulted in the deaths of approximately 30,000 Muslims, 10,000 of whom are children. Despite the fact that you do not criticise the attackers' religion, the truth remains the same.
Reasons why people are afraid of Islam
      1. Islam prohibits gambling and betting.
      2. Islam prohibits alcohol and drugs.
      3. Islam prohibits sex and porn.
      4. Islam prohibits caste (the main reason why so-called higher-caste people like Brahmins hate Islam).
And these are the world's leading industries, right? This is why they spread hate against Islam.

What is happening in israel-palestin conflict has been going on for long time in middle east which has alot to do with issues within abrahamic religions.
Now the reason why there is so much hatred towards your religions is because followers like you who keep using deceptive methods to spread your religion!

I am a 'low' caste Hindu(whatever that means in the present day society) a Doctor practicing for the past 40 years ( and an AGNOSTIC TO BOOT) who nevertheless loves listening to ALL types of music - Classical Carnatic, Hindustani, Western, Hindu, Christian, Islamic devotional songs and some songs without knowing which language they are in!
I don't know even the basic grammar of any music but that has not hindered me from being fa good Rasika! I have never thought of any musician in terms of his religion, caste etc.
Having said that we cannot deny the fact that Bhakti (Faith) systems have nurtured ALL MUSIC FORMS
    throughout the world.
If Mr. T.M.Krishna is so woke leftist ( WHICH I AM IN SOCIAL ISSUES - not when it concerns CLASSICAL MUSIC) and considers singing paeons on Rama and in the same breath says he will feel the same when he sings about a BROOM OR PERIYAR then why doesn't he devote a whole concert in praise of a Broom, Palm tree and Periyar fittingly arranged by the MUSIC ACADEMY⁉️
    Suffice to say-

That article is actually true. It is a fact that MS Amma was born into a devadasi amma and a Tamil Brahmin father who never acknowledged her as his daughter. This is the complete truth. Also it's because Sadashivam married her and gave her a respected belonging to a Tamil Brahmin family, that she completely immersed herself in dedication to her husband and her music. Imagine if she hadn't met Sadashivam. He even forbade MS Amma to meet her family after her marriage. This is the truth. She also knew the Brahmin stronghold over Carnatic music.
Times are changing. Music belongs to everyone. It's divine and cannot belong to any religion, caste and creed. TMK is a highly talented and gifted musician who wants to reach out music to everyone. Nothing wrong with that.

I want to ask one thing to Mr Murali....Is Madras Music Academy owned by him, just because he is holding the post of president of the academy? What is the criteria for choosing the recepient of the Sangeeta Kalanidhi Award? If music is the only criterion, are they choosing exponents of other types of music, like Western Classical, Arabic, etc.,? If they are awarding only to Carnatic Musicians, what is the guideline they follow? Will they choose a Brahmin, Hindu Basher like the one they have chosen this time, who is for substituting the words Rama with Jesus in the Kruthis of Thyagaraja, thereby destroying the basic tenet of Karnataka Sangeetam, which is Bhakthi? Are they approving that? Really Shameful and Disgusting to have such persons who don't give any value to our culture ? It's high time they are replaced by some other eminent persons who value the highly respected traditions instead of the persons from the left-oriented Hindu Ram family

There are two questions, for which there are no convincing answers so far - (1) Why did the academy decided to announce the president for this year's conference so early - The timing of this announcement is very suspicious, esp when you see politicians of a certain hue are rushing to defend the award (2) All these years the awardee has looked the other way and I dont think has even performed in the academy citing B-patriarchy, elitism and what not - what has changed now?

Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, a prominent social reformer and the founder of the Dravidar Kazhagam in South India, was known for his radical views on caste, religion, and gender equality. However, there is no historical evidence to support the claim that Periyar ever called for genocide. Instead, his activism was primarily focused on social reform, particularly the eradication of caste discrimination, the empowerment of women, and the advocacy for rationalism and self-respect.
Periyar's critiques were often directed at institutional and societal structures that perpetuated inequality, and his methods included speeches, writings, and non-violent protests. While his views and methods were controversial and sometimes provocative, attributing a call for genocide to him is not accurate based on historical records and his body of work.
It's important when discussing historical figures to rely on verified historical data and scholarly research to understand their contributions and viewpoints accurately. Misinterpretations or misinformation can lead to misunderstandings about their legacy. If there are specific instances or statements you're referring to, it might be helpful to look at those in their historical and societal context for a better understanding.

I feel that Carnatic music should be offered to all, a lot of Thamizh songs should be sung or created in Carnatic music, all communities should be encouraged to learn and practice, all castes that work for the artists that work in the background should be recognised - that is what TMK is speaking about. Without getting aroused by bits and pieces of what he says, do listen to his long interviews and pick up his books and read. I am an ardent fan of Carnatic music and I don’t belong to the Brahmin community - it is usually been taught and practiced for generations only in their household and I am not against the same - it should be more democratic so it is celebrated by one and all

Music Academy, Chennai has fallen into the hands of leftist activists who have no public support and Dravidian politics. The famous Music Academy has lost its credibility by awarding a person who is less known for music and more for controversy. Periyar ideology is hatred and violence against Brahman community which is followed by corrupt DMK and supported by the fellow who got awarded. The Carnatic music will do well without the patronage of the Music Academy but the same Music Academy will lose its reputation, credibility and relevance in future. There are many Sabhas in Chennai and other cities which can host the Carnatic musicians. The anti Hindu news paper itself has lost credibility since it is controlled by N Ram and his stooges which is damaging the Music Academy, Chennai. Well done Ranjani and Gayatri for your bold opinion. Boycott the Academy which is bereft of Music now.

But inside the country untouchability exists if you are a Hindu low caste Carnatic musician. If he/ she is from other religion then well you can imagine. Everyone sites the example of KJ Yesudas and Neyyattinkara Vasudevan who are not even from TN. No-one is against Brahmin community. They themselves assume so. If they are open minded then prove it by accepting underprivileged singers as shishyas from all communities. Kudos to Ranjani and Gayatri for taking a courageous stand. It is not sufficient for artists like them, and others such as Vishakha Hari, Ravikiran, the Trichur brothers, and Dushyanth Sridhar, to boycott the Academy; like-minded Carnatic music Rasikas should avoid patronizing it. The Academy president, Narasimhan Murali, said, "According to me, they are disappointed that they have not been awarded; that is at the root of all this." These statements only indicate the arrogance of a rich, senile man. Ranjani and Gayatri have been quite vocal about their disagreement with T. M. Krishna's attitudes and behaviors for a long time. Their opinion was not formed recently after the award was announced. In fact, the two sisters have every qualification that makes them more suitable for the Sangita Kalanidhi Award than T. M. Krishna. Krishna most likely got this award (and others) because of The Hindu Group's nexus between T. M. Krishna, N. Ram, and N. Murali. In fact, how is the award decided? Does the Academy have any democratic process for it? What qualification does N. Murali have (besides being rich) to make him eligible to head the Academy?
