The anchor has no intention of listening and when she is cornered , she says she doesn’t understand and goes for a break.
The person in charge and the Committe responsible should resign.
If TMK was according to the Academy bureaucrats, chosen by poll, we should know the details like number, target group etc.
Wokism in Music Academy and tarnishing of the spotless tradition of the Academy are a strict no-no.

The Academy's bureaucrats should go. All financial support should be stopped.

Very difficult for this slender group to fight against mighty. Sri. N. Murali and Mr. N .Ram. keep quiet and come forward to glorify the music of T.M.K the Tansen of South India.
You oppose/fight because you feel something is not right. ‘Winning’ or ‘losing’ is not the immediate issue though in the long it is crucial.

The anchor has lost it when she confuses herself about music in general and Carnatic music in particular. Even TMK’s main point is it is Carnatic Music that has shut its doors to others who aren’t Brahmins.
Most news channels and their anchors don’t seem to understand what TMK stands for and why is he opposed and the comical (?) role of MMA that is accused and was boycotted by TMK now bending its back and hastily announcing in March the award which hitherto used to be announced in July/August!

Did not like the way she ended it without allowing others talk. I mean if most of the takers for it are Brahmins that's not thing to be discussed. The communities must want to come in and can we force everyone to take upto music? In that case, why madurai some did not receive Sangita kalinidhi. Is it musicians(mostly Brahmins) or listeners(mostly Brahmins) fault?
The host should allow them to talk and not conclud without allowing them to answer those questions.

This anchor is clearly unpredictable. It's odd that she speaks softly for a moment, then raises her tone; it's unclear why she becomes so effervescent. She takes breaks at odd times, then calls on another guest after the break.

Painting it as hegemony, it being clustered is uttrrly baseless and should not be a permit fir anyone, least being a pro in this field to question the core values of the art. TMK is arrogant and the academy which chose him is even more in accepting fact that carnatic music is clustered which simply is not. The reputation of the prestigious Music Academy has been brought down by awarding TM Krishna the Sangeetha Kalanidhi award. That shameless person has Christianised Carnatic music and insulted great legends like MS Subbulakshmi. That's why he is backed by DMK for their agenda. There is no bhava and bhakti in his music. He doesn't deserve it
