Hi Eric I do suppose there is a similarity to it maybe more the super astute as that had the battery down the middle also if you look at a buggy called the desert gator the body is very similar to an astute ;)
It depends in what context the dark impact is 4WD , the sand viper is 2wd , both buggy’s aren’t a patch on Tamiya’s TRF buggy’s for example , as budget buggy’s you can make them run very well for what they are

Will the Astute or wiper astute body fit this chassis?
Yep you can get the astute/super astute body to fit the dt02 chassis :)
I have this same car except mine is an orange body and a black wing!
