Hi Andy, same here fella, my favourite buggies usually have a sentimental connection that's hard to explain to a non-RC enthusiast! They just get under your skin. Strange, but something that doesn't happen with too many other brands. Anyway, your DT02 is sweet as! Love it! Goes like stink too. Nice to see the walk around of the chassis. Any of the DT02s are awesome and you can make them Go really well, plus you can do loads of custom work to them. It’s a great platform to work on

Wow, what an awesome looking buggy! I really like the DT-02, it's a great basic buggy and runs well. I actually started with a DT-03, but that had way too much understeer for my liking, so I got the parts and converted it to a DT-02. Once I'd done that. I flipped the front lower wishbones round to slightly increase the wheelbase to make it more stable, I also replaced the screw pins with hinge pins, replaced the screws with steel hex head screws, and I also fitted a turnbuckle brace to the front shock towers. I was also looking into bodging a better spur gear setup but never got round to it, and sadly I sold the buggy last year as I wasn't running it much and I needed the money, and I regret selling it now. Great video as always, keep up the good work!!
Cheers Barry , awesome budget buggy , they drive very well with a few tweaks , I’ve always loved the DT buggy’s especially the 02, like I said in the video this is the buggy that got me back into racing. Fingers crossed you may get another 02 in the future. Cheers for watching, take it easy :)

Huge fan of the DT-02 chassis. 👍 It's by far my most driven buggy. Your race spec DT-02 MS looks superb. 😎 Unfortunately, as you say, getting third party hop ups for the DT-02 chassis is becoming more and more difficult.

Congrats on the 3k. I know how hard you work and it is well deserved. The dt02 ms is one of the best Tamiya modern day non TRF buggies. That was a mouth full. Lol I cannot wait to build mine.

Thanks for the great comment it means a lot to be recognised that you put a lot in to something you love :) the DT02 is a great budget 2wd that was loosely based on 2wd competition buggys of the day. They go really well with a bit of work to them , it’s even beaten much better machinery on track. Realistically it will never be an out an out race car . They are tons of fun though enjoy yours when you build it ;) take care

Cheers Richard much appreciated, the one make DT races where great fun to do as everyone had the same machinery there was some good racing. Lee Davies did a cracking job with that event. John Weston even did a buggython event with the dt02 chassis as well.
