Tbh Andy in your video where u first showed us the truck I wasn't too sure about it, but in this video seeing it running I've changed my mind, it looks great 👍, looks plenty quick too, I don't really know this chassis but looks like it runs nice, shame about the mishap, hope u found the parts lol. Ahhh man, ya jinxed it by saying "let's give it one more blast" 😅 Personally I always liked the TL01, for a touring car. High speed gears, carbon shafts, they would levitate with a hot motor 😅 IIRC the high speed gears will fit the MFX-01 chassis 🎉

If anyone is going to moan about the multiple connectors. On a NIMH pack the current draw is that low it doesnt make bugger all difference. That being said i need to pick one of these up !

The Super Astute is a fantastic looking buggy, I'd love to get one but cannot afford it. You've got some great upgrades on there, they'll definitely help! It runs really well, looks great, awesome stuff!!

How is it “over engineered”?

I broke multiple of those weak front bulkheads on my original Astute, I remember gluing it back together and reinforcing it with aluminium and all sort of things but I kept breaking them until my father made me one out of nylon that is still going strong.

that thing looks cool! peak buggy design really, rear cab. But Andy please do without the 3 adapters and standardize your battery connectors to 1 type, last thing we want is something to melt and catch on fire. love your vids btw.

I spy with my little eye........thanks for the subtle plug on the spoiler! Those wishbones definately look like the could break if you stared at them long enough hopefully the upgrades can be sorted before you race it! It will be good to see this up close!

did you use the stock motor and the esc that comes with it? if not can you tell me what motor and esc you used?

I find the smurf blue a total turn off. Missing parts. Sounds like classic Chinese quality control. Is that where these are these made? These compaines are really cleaning up off this nostalgia fad.

It does look like a very nice kit, bit odd that they don't include a manual but I suppose you can always download one. I hate to think how much this kit was though.....
