1- Are my thoughts critical or Loving right now
2- Are my thoughts from the past or the future
3- Am I in the now or am I in the past
4- Am I in a state of scarcity or in a state of gratitude
5- Am I in a state of fear or state of love, state of resistance or flow, Am I operating from ego or higher self

All your words comes down to this famous saying.
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I COULDN'T CHANGE. COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THANGS THAT I CAN AND WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

I'm tired of being in survival mode, I want to thrive in life, and not a reactor. My old programming keeps limiting my relationships. Thank you Lisa.

Right now I am in a state of fear. But you have taught me non-resistance. And that helps me face the circumstances I am currently living in. And I do have to remind myself to stay in the now.

I am in that place too. My inner self has told me "Everything is external, Maria. Nothing can really touch you"

Lisa, you help ground me in my reality. I have gone down a similar pathway as you BUT went off trail & went down a rabbit hole trying to understand what happened. Come to find out that I am from a family system of narcissistic abuse. While unraveling my ancestry, I put myself in all the victims places & felt their pain. I'm in process of getting out from under that. Truly, I'm looking for things to be grateful for as I trudge onward & upward. Could use some wings here. Namaste. Thank you. I appreciate you.

I Thank God for you Lisa A Romano & that I came across you & your Breakthrough Warrior program which I am slowly starting to consistently devote time to this year. My hope lies in My Creator & you. You are part of the few that are equipped to educate us survivors bc you get it. I wanted to find a healer/coach that came from & thoroughly gets BOTH the damage of a narcissistic parent AND alcoholic (C-PTSD, emotional neglect, verbal abuse, avoidant attachment wounding/fear of engulfment, dissociation, codependency, enmeshment.) Others may have experienced the chaotic childhood but not the narcissism, or may be anxiously attached but no alcoholic parent. I am so hopeful for healing.

    Whoa!
I never paid attention to beliefs and spiritual side, I completely ignored this - and it was missing, now I realize that I ignored important aspect of healing. For example, I have experienced Zoroastrianism from healing side in 2020 - and I forgot the power that it has.
Another thing that I connect now is power of being in the now.
I read this in self help books about social anxiety but I never understood it. For me, being in the now means not preparing wood and food for the winter time. Being in the now as I understood it from medical books - is ignoring preparedness paradox and being lazy.
    Nope.
What Lisa explained - clicked with video that I saw in Heidi Priebe videos past summer.
She explained in her video that in order to heal - we need to be present - and this means not pushing our anxiety away - but listening to is.
That is being in the now.
I misunderstood CBT self help explanation of being in the now - that being in the now means not being in the now anxious state.
While in reality - being in the now is realizing where we are right now - not denying it - and then when we feel the hurt and pain - we will naturally do action steps to help ourselves and make decisions in life that will be in our best interest -- by avoiding and minimizing contact with toxic people and toxic ambient - and making long term project when we are unable to cut toxic people right this minute.

Apart from fear and hurt. When you talk about people pleasing, enabling trying to be perfect, trying to prove your worthiness to other people, enabling, editing yourself for the sake of approval and validation , going into a party and noticing people aren't talking to you , taking everything so personally.
What kind of child abuse are you talking about?
Because there are various types of child abuse that don't include these things at all.
The message came through a little confusing .
Nautical thing i like that and I agree with the past and future. Although it is difficult when the triggers return.

Shes referring to emotional neglect as a form of child abuse. It is unconscious

My most important need has not been taken care of ever since. So how can I believe it will be taken care of? It is a need that I can't control. It is a need depending on someone else.

I think I don't want to heal anymore. I am tired of healing or improving or anything. I just want to live a simple life and have some kind of love life, sex life as I need it. Meaning I just need a lover, someone who loves me in return. But it seems that's not meant for me. I have no clue why.
