  • Healing Childhood Trauma: How the Ego Blocks Your Connection to Your Higher Self and what you need to know to heal your life. Childhood subconscious programming runs all of our lives, according to Life Coach and Award-Winning Author Lisa A. Romano. In this inspiring, enlightening, and motivating episode, you will learn how to heal childhood emotional neglect, childhood trauma, and dissociation associated with CPTSD symptoms and traits with three distinct mental skills.
Learn how to deal with childhood trauma. Understand how subconscious childhood programming impacts adulthood. If you have taken a childhood trauma test, such as the ACE score, you may wish to begin taking your symptoms of emotional neglect or childhood trauma more seriously for the purpose of AWAKENING your AUTHENTIC SELF.
Adult children of narcissistic parents or adult children of alcoholics are raised to dissociate due to CPTSD. CPTSD refers to traumatic circumstances a child cannot escape from. If you experienced childhood emotional abuse, in the form of overt or covert abuse, or neglect, while you were in a theta brainwave state your developing ego personality most likely assumed false beliefs about yourself. You may believe you need to abandon the self in order to remain in contact with others. As Dr. Gabor Mate teaches, abandonment is akin to death for a child and the survival instinct is to abandon the self for the sake of attachments even if they are frail.
In this session, please consider taking notes, as Lisa A. Romano reveals 3 specific steps to healing from childhood trauma, and the faulty subconscious beliefs that occur as a result of being raised by neglectful, abusive or toxic parents.
Do you believe you are codependent, or that you are a perpetual people-pleaser and caretaker, who gives too much of yourself for the sake of relationships that are unfulfilling, emotionally manipulative or toxic? If so, take the FREE Codependency Quiz Below.

You make an EXCELLENT POINT about anger making us feel centered! I never realized this is why so many of us "get stuck in anger"! Because it feels CENTERING! So we think we feel better! It's just an improvement over what we were feeling prior! As we know, anger chemicals are addictive, so it's my personal go-to emotion in stressful times. Thank you for talking about this! I needed it!

Thanks Lisa, the introduction most definitely looks like "..a little bit more than the 12-step meetings that they are going to.." I don't go to 12-step meetings, but I already know I will be going to this video for "a little bit more", as you put it. The introduction of it resonates. I will definitely be taking notes.

I am so grateful for this podcast. I've been listening for a few years now. I really connected with this. Going to take it one step forward. I thought "giving up" and "letting go" was my path. I am encouraged, thank you! Back to the basics.

Lisa, I would appreciate you discussing the Male contribution to this
Males who drink or do drugs have unhealthy sperm. Also the DNA contribution from both parents is significant in possibly genetic abnormalities!!!
When my Dad's sperm hit my Mom's egg....
    I was F**KED😮😮

hope you read my little story, because my pain is unbearable ,I just picked up my uncle from the airport who my parents haven't seen for 25 years and my narcissistic mother stayed in bed didnt even come to the front door, and my father actually stuck up for her when I said why couldn't mum just come and great him, he said her leg hurts,he broke her leg two months ago but she went to the supermarket 3 days ago but to be so disrespectful and not just greet him then go to her bed with the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. I feel so bad for my poor Uncle he came here just because I was crying a week ago and didn't know what to do, he is elderly he took a flight and came here to talk to my dad to get some sense in him and then she doesn't even come to the door. I know this they will never change, but today 18 sep, it broke my heart. Sorry I'm always writing so much but I don't know anybody here

I need to get some clarification on this thought if I may Lisa, do all narcissists know that they're narcissists? or is it some of them do & some of them don't? I get the feeling they all know but they also know how to act like they don't...
