Is this 2024 Titan built on the same old frame and chasis. I have a Nissan Armada 2013, and I want to upgrade its front look with this Titan Truck. Is this possible?
I love the Titan, but I think Nissan has a stigma. "Big Altima Energy" is a real thing. Nissan is subconsciously associated with lower income buyers, people with credit scores too low to buy a Toyota or Honda. It's a shame but thats a real thing. Regardless to the quality, regardless to the discounts, I think a lot of buyers just can't look beyond that.
@@Truth2240 I agree with you. I'm personally not bothered myself, the Frontier was second on my list of trucks to buy when I was shopping earlier this year. I ended up with a GMC because the technology was just too much for me to pass up. But if not for that I would have happily bought the Frontier.
shame the last reliable truck is getting the axe!! my 2017 pro4x has pulled them all out yet people still brag about their favs as they get humbled !!!!! rather have a dipstick but the v8 epic!! trucks going complicated and v6 twin turbos bringing reliability to its knees!!!! tundra only motor option can't stay away from dealer ram dropped hemi for a twin turbo joke thats also a heating pad! nissan was hurt by the cvt trans that doesn't exist in their trucks but the lack of ads and sales killed a warrior that had one the the best platforms and warranties!!!!!
There is several reasons the Titan is being discontinued. And it is not due to Nissan's marketing. They depreciate faster than any other half ton pickup on the market and that is because it begins to fall apart, rust, and the paint peels after 3 years.
$50,000 isn’t going to make me buy it. Smh. I am not brand loyal either. Had two ram trucks. I like the frontier too. Still can’t afford them. I do like the video and this brought to my attention. I will look into it more at my local dealerships. But they are still looking too expensive for me. I love V8s too.
I have tried shopping these trucks and every dealer I have talked to ends up saying they can either give me 0% or the discounts. Not both. Or they have a mandatory “ceramic coating” for $2500. If anyone has a salesman at a dealer that will honor the advertised price with no add ons and 0% send me a message.
Nissan ran the company terribly. If they just focused on rugged off road cars like Toyota did, and actually updated things people cared about, it would sell out.
love the engine to me front it ugly but so are the other brand .yea everything is to high .20k is my man ill buy one wrecked .just silly money for a pile off steal with a an engine .tuners fix cylinder deactivation so that an easy fix
Reliable they are not. I have a 2023 Nissan Titan SV with barely 10K miles on it. Today I saw an engine light come on with a warning: "Service AT", and transmission shifting rough. Two months ago I had an A/C pulley fail on it. I've never ever heard of, or had a car/truck with this few miles to have transmission issues. This Jatco 9-speed transmission is no good on these trucks.
Nissan Dealerships are the worst. Thats why theres no brand loyalty. I had the worst experience at Nissan buying a Nissan. It was a great car but I would never go back because of that. I know several other people who had the same experience.
Nissan makes horrific quality vehicles that have major power train failures more often than other major brands. We used to get Nissan traded in all the time and send them straight to auction because they were too fukd to repair and make any money on.
My 21 pro 4x had transmission issues at under 1000 miles. Thankfully the market was insane and I didn’t lose anything ditching it. Never again, Nissan.
The Titan has its fair share of issues. The transmission is the same one in the Frontier, its too small for the Titan causing the truck to Lunge forwards at low speeds while braking. Leaking sunroofs and other things also and for the price of an outdated Titan, you can get any big 3 with decent options.
@@johndelossantos1572 Bro I almost bought a Titan. Test drove a 2023 Platinum Reserve and 22 Pro 4x. They both did the same thing, lunging forwards at 5 mph or less while I was braking and coming to a stop. You can tell the transmission was downshifting hard causing the lunging. I ended up buying a 2024 pro4x fully loaded with leather, sunroof and Fender audio for 45k OTD.
Ford F250 V8 7.3 - no cylinder deactivation, no direct injection, no auto start stop and much more powerful motor. Tow way way more. Just more expensive.

i got the midnight edition black on black 🔥🔥🔥
It’s a good truck but the 10 k off is basically what its msrp should be
I agree, they have historically been about $10,000 too expensive.
That rings true for just about every vehicle being sold in the US now
that could be said for almost every vehicle on the market these days..
I got one and I love it!
I drove my 2005 for almost 20 years. They are solid just burn fuel like crazy 😂
Considering my budget, let me know when they're on clearance for $9.99
i’d buy one i. a heart bear looking for a new truck , but they stopped selling the titans in Canada for two years now …. my next option is the ram but don’t want to pull the trigger on it due to that damn tick lifter fault they have , and living in canada when it gets cold as F in winter is like to start my truck for 10-15 minutes to worm up , don’t want to have stress that the ram is idling and damaging the damn lifters…
You need to get beyond those paradigms. You're missing out on a great truck.
@@Truth2240 I agree with you. I'm personally not bothered myself, the Frontier was second on my list of trucks to buy when I was shopping earlier this year. I ended up with a GMC because the technology was just too much for me to pass up. But if not for that I would have happily bought the Frontier.
then I guess they can always pay $80K for GMC or Ford...if they are hung up on other peoples "perceptions"
shame the last reliable truck is getting the axe!! my 2017 pro4x has pulled them all out yet people still brag about their favs as they get humbled !!!!! rather have a dipstick but the v8 epic!! trucks going complicated and v6 twin turbos bringing reliability to its knees!!!! tundra only motor option can't stay away from dealer ram dropped hemi for a twin turbo joke thats also a heating pad! nissan was hurt by the cvt trans that doesn't exist in their trucks but the lack of ads and sales killed a warrior that had one the the best platforms and warranties!!!!!
Just picked up a 2024 pro 4x loaded with 15k off.
Dealerships killed the Titan.
I love my 2021 pro4x
Are they stopping the Titan all together?
There is several reasons the Titan is being discontinued. And it is not due to Nissan's marketing. They depreciate faster than any other half ton pickup on the market and that is because it begins to fall apart, rust, and the paint peels after 3 years.
Ive had 5 Titans and not 1 of them had the issues you describe...are you running them through salt water or something?
@markanderson4163 that would be hard to find in Montana😂
@markanderson4163 no salt on roads either.
I have a friend with one and it is tough.
I was interested in getting out of ram 1500 2021. They wouldn't give more than 5000 off.
What dealership is this !?
Will I be able to easily get parts for this 15 - 20 years down the road ?
is anyone here a fortune teller????
@ Then it’s Not a good buy if parts will be limited in the future
Sadly we can’t get this truck in Canada anymore unless it’s a used one
Used may be better anyhow since the new ones depreciate quickly and severely.
Compared to other trucks, it’s a great deal.
I got my truck for 15k off MSRP….
Hi, where are you located?
Nissan manufacture in Canton Mississippi and Doge mostly manufacture in Mexico.
I’m bored with everything out there and I wanted a fresh face so to speak and the price sounds right
Know one wants a truck that is the last year they will make them. Problem getting parts later .
They will make the parts for years to come.
I hope they’re extremely dependable because the future of Nissan is sketchy at best. 😮
people dont seem to want the new Frontier, either. I have seen only TWO, in the wild in the last year.
Just got an SV for zero down, 0% for 60 months. They want them off the lot.
Ill move on a new truck when they double that.
I would buy the Titan but, my driveway is too narrow. My Frontier fit me better especially the mpg
is the MPG really that much different????...
Couldn't agree more
It’s not going away, Nissan is revamping it again but they are jumping on the v6 turbo bs… you will see it returning 2025/26.
I get ford f150 vibes. I drove one, 'rent'
I think that Nissan is receiving billions from the government to retool the Titan plant into an EV plant. Sad…best half ton truck on the market.
No, these trusck were never worth 63 or 65k, not even the Pro4X. Now that they are priced at the lower 50s, that's about right
Bro forgot to mention the 5yr or 100k warranty..
Nissan did a terrible job marketing these trucks too!
Anyone in the AZ area check out peoria nissan. Got my 24 p4x for a great deal.
We were always Nissan customers until they were bought by that French company. Quality went to hell. My maxima sucked.
Nissan Dealerships are the worst. Thats why theres no brand loyalty. I had the worst experience at Nissan buying a Nissan. It was a great car but I would never go back because of that. I know several other people who had the same experience.
Not a very good deal. Nissan manufacturing is in deep trouble. I'm waiting for the $28,000 discount
make it 30K and you have a deal
I will never buy a ford, chevy or dodge again. they simply do not stand behind their products or warranties.
Nissan makes horrific quality vehicles that have major power train failures more often than other major brands. We used to get Nissan traded in all the time and send them straight to auction because they were too fukd to repair and make any money on.
I also currently have a 98 Nissan Pathfinder and it's one of the biggest pos vehicles I have ever worked on or owned.
Never buy GM,Ford,Chrysler.
My 21 pro 4x had transmission issues at under 1000 miles. Thankfully the market was insane and I didn’t lose anything ditching it. Never again, Nissan.
cuz inside tech is old
The Titan has its fair share of issues. The transmission is the same one in the Frontier, its too small for the Titan causing the truck to Lunge forwards at low speeds while braking. Leaking sunroofs and other things also and for the price of an outdated Titan, you can get any big 3 with decent options.
You cannot get a nicely equiped from the big 3 for the same price as a titan. That is a blatant lie.
All I can say is
its been a great truck with no lurch and very smooth ride and very good power
The transmission is definitely not too small for the Titan. The other manufacturers small and large trucks share designs too.
You just a hater trying to validate yourself.
