I wanted a 2023 or 2024 Toyota Tundra, but there was no way I was going to pay the over asking prices. After many months of research, I found a 2023 Nissan Titan SV 4x4 with 21K miles in mint condition. It has heated cloth seats, an awesome sound system, lane detection, automatic high beams, Bluetooth technology, a rearview camera, a smart key, automated cruise control, a bed liner, driver-adjustable lumbar support, heated mirrors, a Kicker speaker system, rain-sensing wipers, remote start, running boards, a tow hitch, a universal garage door opener, a WiFi hotspot, and more-all for $36K. And this truck is solid! With all these features, there was no way I could find a Toyota Tundra in this price range. Sure, I could have gone with a Chevrolet Silverado or a Ford F-150, but even then, the prices for a 2023 model with low mileage were still too high. Plus, many U.S. trucks seem to have transmission and air conditioning issues. That said, I am very pleased with the Nissan and can’t really nitpick the vehicle. As long as you can stand the compressor whine, rear diff whine, heavy steering, back doors that barely open, passenger seat that won't adjust up or down, no auto 4wd, it's great
I do a lot of research on 20-24 titan trucks and I personally have not heard a single rear diff whine complaint. But will keep my ears open for that one.

You nailed all the issues I saw looking at it. Cheaply built. The only positive things I saw was the V8 engine and discounted (I use that term loosely) price. Trade in on these is terrible. The Toyota was better in every category except that questionable V6 turbo. So sad car manufacturers are ruining the market with cheaply built vehicles. Just purchased a 23 Platinum Reserve with 17k miles for far less than a Toyota Tundra. It still has plenty of the 100k / 5 year warranty left and the dealer is giving a 10 year / 200k warranty for free. I have never driven a titan and was surprised at how smooth it was

This guy is more critical on the none important stuff of the truck. It contradics the tile of this video. He has a love hate relationship with the truck because the rest of the truck manufacturers suck
The Nissan Titan is a rattletrap and cheap looking compared to most other trucks. Not very nice inside and it looks like they rushed to build it. The only positive is the engine. Plain Jane. Too bad there are no very nice dependable trucks out there. No wonder they are discontinuing it. I feel like we are in the 80’s with vehicles being controlled by the government. I imagine the “no fossil fuel by 2035” nonsense may get a big delay after a current event. I wonder if Toyota will recover from their recent debacle with the Tundras and Tacos. Not a great time for car buyers!
Well Titans get horrible gas mileage. They have no cylinder deactivation meaning its V8 engine does not knock back 4 cylinders while on the highway, titans have no Wi-Fi, & no multi-pro tailgate which’s the tailgate tht turns into a staircase. Titan’s the worst truck to get due to lacking the cylinder deactivation & the “multi-pro tailgate”.
Naming the Video "Why it's the BEST Truck" and just going over dozend things you don't like about it is pretty missleading.... What now? Is it good? Is it bad? I don't get it. If im watching your video it's just bad things about it....

This is the best truck (proceeds to tell me 100 reasons why it's not very well built) lol. There's a reason everyone is going to turbocharged motors. They are more efficient, make better torque, better power more often than not.... I'm not saying they aren't added complication but that Titans fuel economy will always be worst in class......
He was being critical. They are GREAT trucks. With titans it’s not uncommon to go 150k - 200k WITHOUT the need for a major repair. With Ford, Ram, GM it’s pretty much guaranteed. IF you don’t have lifter failure in the GM truck you are most definitely replacing the transmission by 125k. Don’t get me started about Fords Ecoboost cam phasers and the 10R80 trans. Better not let a Hemi idle too much or it’ll die early as well. I currently have a GM 6.2, Ford Coyote and Titan in the garage so I’m not bias.

@@granth4768 I have a normal titan 19 sv. I'm considering trading it in for a xd, longer bed, beefier frame. From what I've read it's more robust. My .02 cents
Just purchased a 23 Platinum Reserve with 17k miles for far less than a Toyota Tundra. It still has plenty of the 100k / 5 year warranty left and the dealer is giving a 10 year / 200k warranty for free. I have never driven a titan and was surprised at how smooth it was
Holy crap. that's quite the review. hahaha
I have a 2024 Pro4X ! It’s the absolute best truck I have ever had!!! My 2016 Silverado was a Total POS !!! Had to replace the transmission with only 61,000 miles !! I’m hoping Nissan will bring back the Titan in the future!!
Great Video! Thanx
Im sorry their quality is no longer included in this line.
👍
They are so great and awesome that they got chopped😂
This review is completely the opposite than every other review I have heard. Other than the engine, you made the opposite points that everyone else on TH-cam has made haha. It’s all good, perspectives are good.
I don't think you know what a drop in bed liner is 🤣
If I took a drink every time you said "super" in this video I'd be drunk in 5 minutes.
super drunk
Brags about the old school nature then complains about lack of refinement. What a girl. It'll hold your groceries fine.
Why? Govt mandates, that's why.
If it's so good why can't they sell them? My Nissan dealer still has 3 2023 sitting on the lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣 they are ugly and outdated af💯
