    Dearest, your explanations is simply the best I've seen so far. I was searching for a definitive explanation on the net, of the analogy between Vedanta & The Matrix movies, as I could see so many similarities. I'm an Advaita Vedanta student, studying under a Guru and scholars of Narayana Gurukula, Varkala, Kerala. I'm also an ardent fan of movies, over the last 50+ years of cinema. Love & Blessings, Go well, Subash

      Thank you for the kind words sir. I am so delighted to see your comment. Only a vedantic student can fully understand this analogy

    Excellent, I will see all the parts of this YT series.
    I had an idea that Matrix concept is taken from Sanatan Bharat core ideas when Neo interacts with the little girl in train station when I saw the movie first time. Even Avatar, Inception too.

    Thanks for wonderful insights on Matrix n Vedanta. I love this understanding!
    Following is the name of movie. It looks like the contemporary definition of non-duality ( ekam sat):
    Everything, Everywhere, All At Once

    Amazing and apt comparisons between the two. Please keep up such enlightening talks. With each new discovery by astrophysicists, I think, it takes us deeper in vedant, one step forward in understanding vedant. Many a times I think that Is there something called Invention really exist ? Or everything is a Discovery? Thank you so much Mam for your wonderful and meaningful insights.

    U did a good analysis ma'am, I'm A very big fan of the Matrix Series.. If u actually see the movie Series, it's Ghost In the shell- 1996 Japanese Anime.. Wikipedia Has an official page for this.. And says that The Matrix Series Has been influenced by multiple religions and Philosophies.. I.e Christianity, Judaism, Gnosticism, Buddhism And Hinduism. They Also Have Taken Some Parts From Greek Mythology- Plato's allegory Of the cave.

      One unbounded conscious of eternal being. It's the end game of virtual reality. It dawned on me that we are all the creator co-creating within a collective consciousness. It makes perfect sense. When you think about it exploring consciousness is what we do. When we dream, when we remember, when we consider the future, we put ourselves somewhere other than where we are. That is a gift. The Brahman and the atman. Hindus we're seers and they nailed it.

    This reminds me of a story from mahabharata.....Kali begged for his life. The good king Parikshit said that Kali would have to go away from his kingdom but had to accomodate since the universe had to follow the yuga cycles. He thought for a moment and said Kali can remain where there was gambling, drinking, adultery and violence to innocents. He also granted Kali to stay in gold and silver and other precious metals that create troubles for spiritual aspirants. He also gifted Kali with untruth, pride, indulgence and attachment, violence and enmity or jealousy. So during his lifetime Kali could not enter the world.
    Now, Kali has spread his reign all over. Such a strong power, we would only know ourselves until we get into such things, once we are in, we ll get lost.

    Namaste 🙏 pranaam .
    Many times many years back I also feel the same thing about relation between Vedanta matrix and guess what I have searched through Google and surprisingly read a Wikipedia page about director who made this movie they worshiski twin sisters . They learn this from Hindu sacred books like mahabharat and Ramayana also might be Upanishads.there is shanti mantra chanting at the end of the movie may be in part 3.

    • @thenaturalpeoplesbureau
      @thenaturalpeoplesbureau 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      During Neo`s fight with smith there is both shanti mantra from brihadaranyaka upanishad, as well as the narayana gayatri mantra: aum narayana vidmahe vasudevaya dhimahi, tanno vishnoh pracodayat.
      Neo represents both the seeker/sadhaka, but also partially on a meta level he represents vishnu/shiva, just as the architect is either vishvakarma or brahma. Neo incarnates into brahmas matrix, which brahma created out of the body of the virat. Neo represents the virat purusha, or the anima mundi, and as such is both the spiritual seeker (jivatma) and the supreme being (paramatma), which are both manifestations of brahman. So Neo is all of us. Basically. Thomas anderson is the jivatma, and as neo is sakshad hari, basically paramatma incarnate, jivanmukta, liberated and imbued with yogamaya.
      Every one of us is both paramatma and jivatma at the sametime. And both atman and prakriti are manifest of brahman due to maya, whereas both brahman, atman and nature are eternal, and the first contains the latter 2. The matrix clearly has used gnostic, and vedantic ideas, to enrich its worldbuilding. It is quite dualistic though, in that it basically focusses on the player (soul/atma) and matrix (prakriti/maya) dualism. The idea of the sacrifice of the virat purusha at the begin of a new cycle is essentially what neo is doing - but it also has of course messianic elements of both christ and kalki avatara. So on the surface its religious allegory, on a deeper level it has both dualistic and monistic elements about the journey of every spiritual seeker.
      Many ideas are more gnostic, as in the machine nature of the architect and oracle.. The redpill people are the gnostic pneumatokoi who have tasted pneuma/prana, and are liberated from the power of the demiurge/architect. In this regard i find it interesting that brahma the creator is not worshipped in the east, yet the western religions clearly worship brahma, and suffer hence from severe daddy issues. As Yehowa/Brahma is basically the antagonist in all gnostic lore. Brahma is also sometimes enemical towards the highest, as he quarrelled multiple times with vishnu and rudra, but although he is quick to anger, essentially the three get along. So no real enmity. Some ideas are more clearly vedantic. The whole ghost in the machine thing is clearly dualistic, but there are many ideas which are taken from sanatana dharma. But in regard to characters, the narayana gaiatri clearly states that neo is saguna brahman himself, sri Narayana. And his function as purusha/worldsoul is but one narayanas plays. The player is atman, the game is prakriti. Both (although eternal) are manifest from brahman. Brahman is even para prakriti, and it is purushottama gopala. As long as one cannot understand the lords maya, a person thinks that ones self, the lord, and the world are different, when indeed all of them are the same para brahman.
