I had one nagging question all throughout ie., what was there before the creation of the universe looking from the scientific point of view ? There was a talk of multiverses, parallel universes,with laws of physics inversed etc.,in science journals, time dilation, people looking younger, etc., ln the perceived circumstances, I've figured out that, how the universe could have come into existence. What can be the " Theory Of Everything" & quantum entanglement of a pair of photons sharing the same quantum state. All these can be explained, if we make certain changes in our understanding of nature. The idea struck to me after trying to understand what the word "A-dwaitvad" wants to convey. There is a physics awardee, Dr. Asoke Sen who set the physics world rolling by suggesting that "the principle of duality" is invariably followed in the particle physics. N-S pole, the +ve, -ve charges. The solution was there, only we have to look at the physics world differently. Maybe, one should have the psychology of an electrical engineer to understand such invisible, but real phenomenon. All around us there are charges, light & photons. We do not take these into account, but realize when electrocuted, say by overhead lines by induction or on touching. 1- personally, I think time has no physical existence. It is a man made concept to measure the sequence of events & confuses us. 2-To me using light, to measure the speed of light is like using sound to measure the speed of sound, is somewhat ridiculous. It will be proper, if papers are presented in our/international scientific journal rather than discussing in such open forums, because there will be considerable changes due to some change in fundamental building block.
So finally the entire theory of the Universe exists on Big Bang, which no one can explain. It is like saying Give me the Big Bang and I will give you your universe. Vedanta I am sure has an explanation on the origins of the Universe.
Extrapolating Radio Waves backwards; and coming up with a beginning number of 13.8 billion years from Zero is just ridiculous; even comical. Vedanta looks directly at REALITY to find the Ultimate and Correct Answer.
One needs a detailed understanding of both the theories and experiements in physics and also a deep understanding of vedanta in order to make these connections. Now, whatever it may be, I'd adopt the one that appeals to me the most. This applies to every single Individual because humans are not herds. The logic forwarded in Advait Vedanta by Shri Shankaracharya appeals to me the most. The waking, dreaming and deep sleep states of a person does indicate that there is one single witness consciousness. Moreover, the entire existence appears with my birth in this body and disappears with the death of this body. I too am a component of this maya, so are even the devis and devatas who's pooja we perform. The enlightened alone is able to transcend maya. The vedic knowledge too has no value for that enlightened one. After the body perishes what happens? I have no clue to this day.

It's absolutely incorrect to say that nothing exists until you observe (or measure) it. QM does NOT say that. It only says that the value of something you want to measure is a superposition of all possible values (or eigen states), so that you have a probability density function (a wave function) and when you make a measurement, you see the value to be one of those eigen values (or the wave function collapses to one of the eigen states). Nowhere it says the particle does not exist until you observe/measure it. If you are interested in position of a particle, before you make a measurement, you have a probability associated with each point in the allowed range (which can be finite or infinite); after measuring/observing, you find it in a particular place with 100% certainty. That's all. Whether you observe or not the particle very much exists, only that you don't have an accurate knowledge of where it is. The observable can even be the spin state of an electron, which can take the values of Up and Down. Before measuring, you have probabilities associated with the two states, after measuring it will be either Up or Down. Does it mean that before i measure, the electron had no spin?!! Not at all! An electron cannot exist without spin. QM does not say that reality does not exist. What you and we as viewers need to understand is that it is not as if Quantum Physics has Hindu roots. Quantum Physics has been what it has always been. Similarly, there may be another medium in space through which quantum information travels at almost an speed of instantaneousness. The experiments for which Noble prize has been given do not rule out this popossibility.

I am pretty simple human and don't know about the Vedaanta, Spiritual Science/ Knowledge and believe there is something, it can take care of me.
But looking at the flower and fauna and humans, all so called living or non-living beings, there is the existence of such INTELLIGENCE POWER that manipulated whole Life and Universes.
I remember Ramana Maharshi, once some what he should do to attain Self awareness. Answered by Bhagawan that don't do anything but take Sharanagatha to what he perceived and which is asking him to do.
There is a Famous personality stated that Humans don't invented anything they just Discovered, what's already in existence.

Archanaji, you are pursuing the matter of connecting physics with our ancient scripts. I had one nagging question all throughout ie., what was there before the creation of the universe looking from the scientific point of view ? There was a talk of multiverses, parallel universes,with laws of physics inversed etc.,in science journals, time dilation, people looking younger, etc., ln the perceived circumstances, I've figured out that, how the universe could have come into existence. What can be the " Theory Of Everything" & quantum entanglement of a pair of photons sharing the same quantum state. All these can be explained, if we make certain changes in our understanding of nature. The idea struck to me after trying to understand what the word "A-dwaitvad" wants to convey. There is a physics awardee, Dr. Asoke Sen who set the physics world rolling by suggesting that "the principle of duality" is invariably followed in the particle physics. N-S pole, the +ve, -ve charges. The solution was there, only we have to look at the physics world differently. Maybe, one should have the psychology of an electrical engineer to understand such invisible, but real phenomenon. All around us there are charges, light & photons. We do not take these into account, but realize when electrocuted, say by overhead lines by induction or on touching. 1- personally, I think time has no physical existence. It is a man made concept to measure the sequence of events & confuses us. 2-To me using light, to measure the speed of light is like using sound to measure the speed of sound, is somewhat ridiculous. It will be proper, if papers are presented in our/international scientific journal rather than discussing in such open forums, because there will be considerable changes due to some change in fundamental building block.
So finally the entire theory of the Universe exists on Big Bang, which no one can explain. It is like saying Give me the Big Bang and I will give you your universe. Vedanta I am sure has an explanation on the origins of the Universe.
Extrapolating Radio Waves backwards; and coming up with a beginning number of 13.8 billion years from Zero is just ridiculous; even comical.
Vedanta looks directly at REALITY to find the Ultimate and Correct Answer.

One needs a detailed understanding of both the theories and experiements in physics and also a deep understanding of vedanta in order to make these connections. Also, there is more than one school of vedantic thought, not just advaita vedanta. This topic needs much more careful and objective analysis than what has been presented here.

@Gan Subram sanatan can be understood as a dharma, not a religion. To me dharma is about my duties towards myself and towards everyone and everything that sustains me. It has nothing to do with my way of understanding gods and goddesses.
Whereas religion has prophet and a canonical book. It survives as long as these are "believed in".
There are several ways to understand the wisdom of the upanishads. It is incredible to see great masters interpreting that one in different ways.
Now, whatever it may be, I'd adopt the one that appeals to me the most. This applies to every single Individual because humans are not herds.
The logic forwarded in Advait Vedanta by Shri Shankaracharya appeals to me the most. The waking, dreaming and deep sleep states of a person does indicate that there is one single witness consciousness.
Moreover, the entire existence appears with my birth in this body and disappears with the death of this body. I too am a component of this maya, so are even the devis and devatas who's pooja we perform.
The enlightened alone is able to transcend maya. The vedic knowledge too has no value for that enlightened one.
After the body perishes what happens? I have no clue to this day.

Archanaji's explanation of karma is a little difficult to accept. She implies that the Brahmanda (Universe) is exclusive of jeevatmas and that it has been created for the jeevatmas by, if you may, Paramatma or Parabrahman to help jeevatma burn out their karmas. This view, then, fails to address how, where and when did jeevatmas got created and then accrued their karmas. I would like to know her take on this.

When you (Dr Archana Raghuram) talk about "Sakshi Chaitanyam" you mentioned Brahman created the Universe. Are you referring Nirguna or Saguna Brahman?

It's absolutely incorrect to say that nothing exists until you observe (or measure) it. QM does NOT say that. It only says that the value of something you want to measure is a superposition of all possible values (or eigen states), so that you have a probability density function (a wave function) and when you make a measurement, you see the value to be one of those eigen values (or the wave function collapses to one of the eigen states). Nowhere it says the particle does not exist until you observe/measure it. If you are interested in position of a particle, before you make a measurement, you have a probability associated with each point in the allowed range (which can be finite or infinite); after measuring/observing, you find it in a particular place with 100% certainty. That's all. Whether you observe or not the particle very much exists, only that you don't have an accurate knowledge of where it is. The observable can even be the spin state of an electron, which can take the values of Up and Down. Before measuring, you have probabilities associated with the two states, after measuring it will be either Up or Down. Does it mean that before i measure, the electron had no spin?!! Not at all! What you and we as viewers need to understand is that it is not as if Quantum Physics has Hindu roots. Quantum Physics has been what it has always been. Rather it is that Hindus of the past may have been at this place earlier where physicists today have reached Such scenario is not inconceivable. But there really is no cause for pride or self-preening here. Forr if today physicists and scientists have reached certain places, there was a particular outlook and approach to things which facilitated this journey. It is possible as indeed it is happening right in front of us that such an approach no longer informs our outlook. In the past also, it is possible that Hindus had once this kind of outlook, but lost that outlook. And most relevantly can we honestly say currently we live our lives with such outlook? If we do not now have this kind of outlook, there is little point in claiming credit by association with your ancestors of the past who might or might not have scaled those heights.
When you are not looking at it means when your( mankinds) consciousness is not observing ( by any means, 5 senses, or probably thoughts, imagination). For example, nothing exists if any of us become unconscious!

So before the advent of life (observer) there was no universe? Time itself is a myth. It does not exist as it is not defined. What we call time is a relative measurement/recording of events.
