Dope video man, definately hit all the key points. The one i picked up in decmeber has had almost all of those fixed now😂. Hope to see yours at some shows this year
I have done hundreds of sparkplug jobs on 4.6L and 5.4L , and coil packs don't go bad that often. Mostly what I see with misfire codes is just replace sparkplugs and coil boots
Awesome little gem of a video, ty for sharing, I’m considering a terminator mustang and I know they are different but seeing more about new edges is a great way to see the base line.
Beautiful car! I just bought a 2001 Bullitt and I'm currently in the discovery phase of what's wrong with the car. It only has 98K but the steering wanders and the rear end bottoms out on light dips in the road. So far I've only driven the car a couple of days but if I had to guess, I"d say it needs rack and pinion bushings or tie rods and at the least new rear shocks. I'll check the fuel leak at the filler grommet because when I filled it up I noticed it smelled of gas for quite a while. Absolutely love the car, though. I've ALWAYS wanted one of these!
has anyone with 99-04 mustang had a problem with the seat belt warning chime and light constantly going off not only when the seat belts are latched but also when the car is running in park and all the seats are completely empty, and the normal factory seat belt minder disable procedure will not activate so you can't disable system, there are no SRS codes???
Funny the radio nob blew my system too. Went super loud. Had the same problems on everything except the power steering. The coils was the worst one went after another.
I filled up the gas tank on my 99 GT and gas ended up on the ground at the gas pump. I was confused as to where it came from. I’m thinking it’s that’s rubber grommet at the gas tank. Gonna have it looked at. I just picked up the car a couple months ago with 70,000 miles on it. It’s at the shop right now having the intake changed. Should have it back later today.
@@KonaBlueSVT Yep! It came from somewhere under the car. Confused the Hell out of me. Got the car back from having the intake changed and the car’s running great. So smooth and strong. It’s on my channel. Convertible Electric Green 99 GT. It’s super sharp.
Based on what you said this is everything but super reliable. I started to look for a V6 manual, but I have a feeling I will keep my 2011 Volvo C30 T5, which is in fact super reliable. Maybe it is a pig, slightly heavier than a V6 new edge and it is a front wheeler, but I can live with that.
@@KonaBlueSVT big oof, if it is even worse than that, then I will forget it completely. Like man, at least 2 of the things you mentioned never happens on a truly reliable car...

Thanks Buddy! Glad you found one. I look forward to seeing it!

Thank you! The Terminator is the ultimate New Edge for sure!
Super informative, just what I was looking for. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment!

Congratulations! You'll love it once you get it sorted!

Same exact thing when I bought mine, first fill up it was all over the ground.

Knock on wood. I haven't had these problems with my MACh 1 except with the radio.

The V8 is super reliable in these cars, the V6 not so much unfortunately.

All cars have something, these just happen to be cheap and easy to fix when they do have an issue.
Sounds like this video wasn’t for you at all
@@tempnullname oh it definitely was, I was curious how sh@tty this car is, turned out too much for my liking.
