I'd throw in for the 2018-2021 engines. The cam phaser solenoid on the exhaust side can be sticky and causes transmission slipping because the motor is trying to compensate for the bad data point. Changed mine when I caught a slight sound I didn't like and the car is a new beast.
Hey I’m having trouble with mine and it’s really confusing and I don’t really understand it myself it is having slow deceleration times in between shifting gears at high rpm it drives normal cruising but if I’m actually wanting to open it up every once in a while it has this problem with the decelerating it is a manual and I’m not going for extremely fast shifts when I drive I want a smooth nice sounding shift so I am not being hard on my car it’s been a problem since I got it 6 months ago and is starting to show more and more as I daily drive my 2019 5.0 mustang
The only complaint I have is sooo small. If you drop something it's gone till I get out and push the seat all the way foward. I flipping love my 2021 gt p.
I got one of the very first s550s in December 2014. V6, automatic. I had to replace the water pump around 90,000 miles. Other than that, it's been flawless. Best car I have owned. I still have the original brakes at 115,000 miles.
Good concept for videos and content and make us aware of the most common faults. Ive already done my air cooler kit with MAP, and had to have my arch re sprayed 2 weeks ago but fitted a new front end while at it.. Intake manifold next and of course map will be doing it 🎉
So a engine issue I had repaired was asticky exhaust side cam solenoid. After the replacement of the parts on the engine. The car drives like a different beast.
Do the early s550’s have steel hood and fenders? My Mach is aluminum. Also lots of Mach guys have had issues with the passenger side active exhaust harness shorting on the frame at the valve. Fix is move the exhaust forward. Got the harness replaced twice through warranty until I fixed it myself by correctly positioning the mufflers. The exhaust system will lengthen with heat, if you don’t account for that you will have an issue if you track your car.
I own an S550 GT premium with performance pkg. It's parked in my garage collecting dust. It's all good , running fine, but grew to hate Ford nearly as much as GM and Chyrsler products. As an American with a problem only liking American muscle and sports cars, do yourselves a favor and just stick to Japanese Cars. Our so-called American cars are nothing more than Cheap Chinese Parts assembled by 3rd world country laborers. I say this with sadness but it's true. Just get Honda and Toyota products. Good luck.
Toyota or Honda will never get you that v8 muscle car feeling sound or even emotion. Not even talking about v8 manual.. so get your gt and take it for open valve spin on full throttle..😊
@themorronshacks You do realize Lexus, which is made by Toyota, and they have the IS500 with a 471 HP V8 rear wheel drive that is well within the same price range as a well equipped Mustang GT right ? They've jacked up the prices so high on the Mustang it's even worse today than when I purchased mine. Hate Ford, GM and Mopars.
my 2020 GT is having some issues when I start it up it doesn't start like it should, it sounds a weak. The check engine light also popped on yesterday any ideas to what it could be?
It would be great to get your views on the MT82 in the UK. Has it got as bad issues as the US. Have you installed any upgrades to make it better? I’m in South Africa where we get the same RHD models
If you are lazy or a not mechanically inclined then yeah it could be a hassle but it's actually a very steady and stable platform the coyote is one of the most reliable engines out there my S550 is pushing 150k and with some minor issues here and there that car has proven to be more reliable than any other American car have owned

Another great video guys. Keep up the good work 👍
So….basically a damn good fun daily driver car.
I own a 2019 GT and have had none of these issues with my car with 29 k on it.
Don't forget the random stalling issues, even after manifold was replaced, no check engine light

Omg turn the music down with the background blow out my ear drums.
I'll see you guys soon to get my exhaust valve issue sorted (again) 🤣🤣
The two biggest false points, the back up camera and the valves getting carbon

They all have aluminum fenders and hoods as well as the trunk lid
Great video.
What’s that front bumper called?

Switch to a transmission mounted shifter instead of the stock body mounted shifter.
Airy bag warning light 😬
So basically my car's a pos 😂
