I like the new GS , the light is no problem for me .......the price is a bigger problem. 😂 . I think it ' s one of the best bikes there is at the moment . Holds on his value very good . Maybe I should wait for a couple of years and buy it second hand . Good to see some new content again Roland 😉
Yeah, the price was already a problem, and second hand they really don’t drop that much.
Wondering what the prices of the older 1200 and 1250’s will do now at the second hand market.
@@TheRideWithRoland Judging by the number of pre orders befie it was launched and orders since it was launched the price isn't a problem.
There will be a lot of GS/ GSA for sale in the next couple of years now and the prices can only drop.
As to Roland the price isn't a problem as they already had a lot of orders prior to people seeing it and many more since. The older bikes used price can only drop as more come to market when people trade to the new bike.

It's like the biking world has become possessed and infected by old people syndrome WTF ""I dont like it/ the light is different/ it looks different etc" what a bunch of wet whining people😮💨🤪 So what does the front look like? It looks like a BMW "the new one with the star/cross light!
The BMW asymetric light was different back in the day, now new build regulations are making symetrical the standard, bmw has complied and given something most of the biking world already recognises, everyone will know the bike, you wont get mistaken for a Honda, Yamaha, Ducati or KTM owner😝
I 've been up close and sat on the new 1300. The engine is higher and further forward, it's alps mechamically quieter and more refined, you have more shin room for your legs, The gearbox is new and under the engine and it's slick, the Quick shifter is now a slick up and down change🤗 The headlight gives better light, the seats are better, the main stand has the fold away lever improvement, BMW have giver a phone compartment with charging that takes the new larger phones unlike others.
There are charge ports where the pannier fits that connect the boxes for central lockin, interior lights(we believe) and charging for cameras or tablets. the finish on the engine an other parts see, far better. New chassis and better rear suspension protection from road grime and the rear end gard is stronger and more rigid.
If it looked the same with Asymetric light the biking world would have moaned and whined that it was just the same. same again The chassis and new steering mounting looks very interesting.
Nothing will ever be perfect, the headlight looks like a star and providing there are no hidden flaws it looks like BMW have raised the bar and brought us a new star.
Check out my insta ... - @ le_asouth for some close ups. BMW spent more time in wind tunnels with his bike, everying about the front and screen seems to be about improved aero when riding.
Now you make it sound like the old 1250 gs was bad 😂 I am sure they improved some parts.
However, with every new model, new flaws will pop up.
However the lights are just something you like or not. Don’t know what the deal with headlights is. But Harley Davidson with its pan America was sure taking a big gamble there, although it won’t buyers from buying it. It’s just a light, right?

No I never said hated the gs, and i still make jokes about gs riders :)
If you say gs, then you hear the Starbucks jokes. :)
I know that the joke is only for a little group of gs riders, most ride it more then on any other bike brand.
However, there are jokes on any brand.
