The #1 thing I don't like about BMW's is the price of parts and the price of basic servicing. Here in America we say "BMW" stands for "Bring More Wallet" . It's true, parts and shop rates are crazy expensive for fluids and service times. Just bought a R 1250 GS Trophy model ( blue in the USA) and will be servicing the fluids myself. Not sure if you have a Rotterdam / Mastricht accent, Hague, or Frieseland. Which is it, my father is dutch.
