Mad Season - Above was reissued in 2015 and is available from the usual places, around £25 upwards. I bought this album on release day back in 1995 and it has been and still remains one of my favourite albums of all time. It definitely needs to be in your collection.
Used to visit Bedford record fairs for years, collecting AOR vinyl, remember seeing Arcadium numerous occasions, probably from the same seller, original as i am talking 30 years ago, for a couple of pounds, never brought the damn album , probably as late 60's so no link to the classic Aor genre i was collecting, only years later flicking through record collectors that i realise my oversight. It was such a distinctive album cover and it looked like something i would be interested in.
Blackwater Park is one of the best albums ever made in my opinion, it has so many different styles and that's what I love about it. I think it's also because I like a lot of different types of music.
Cool to see a couple of Doors albums mentioned. They're probably my fave band. As for the other albums... let's just say it's probably an age thing, as I'm more up there with Poppa Dave in years. My personal fave stuff to collect is mainly 60's psych n' garage punk.
Top Video. Great choices. I might have to give Demons and Wizards a listen. As after your recommendation I haven't been able to stop listening to Mad Season. You should give the film sound track for a film called Singles a listen I think you'd like it.
Death Walks Behind You is a great album. That and the "Devil's Answer" single are all the Atomic Rooster I need. Demons and Wizards is great, but Salisbury is my go-to Heep.
First album slave to the grind - oh ok we're going hard then! Livin' on a Chain Gang and The Threat are standouts to me, the album is 5/5 and underrated imo.
The Wooden O A Handeful Of Pleasant Delites was also on Middle Earth as well as Writing on the Wall and a couple of other acts. Wooden O is very lightweight folky stuff with Baroque touches. The Power of The Picts is decent hard rock by Writing on the Wall. They do a good cover of Aires from The Zodiac Cosmic Sounds record on Elektra. Cyrus Faryar more recently appeared as a narrator on Pepe Deluxe's last record The Phantom Cabinet Vol. 1. I don't think being a music fan and collector you can ignore Pepe Deluxe, especially their masterpiece Queen of the Wave, but you will be lucky to get it on vinyl as the remaining stocks of the album were destroyed in the London riots. I am not selling mine. th-cam.com/video/CVZKX1RuJA0/w-d-xo.html Poor Lady from Arcadium gets a bit of attention from the Freakbeat 7" only hipster DJs with their Telephones for DJ headphones and their Paul Weller haircuts. It was featured on The Perfumed Garden compilation. Not particularly representative of the album but I'm on my Way is a banging opening track. I saw one for sale on the wall of a record shop in the early 90s. I think it was about £100-150 then.
William Blake's Nebuchadnezzar is crawling along the Atomic Rooster Album.
Thanks for the Uriah Heep recommendation. Not usually my cup of tea. After smoking a certain something, I put it on and loved it.

Great selection of records!
An awesome channel😊😊
Seventh son ... came out in April 1988. Love your videos. Thanks for info on Atomic Rooster 😊
Good to see you today at the ‘little shop’ all the best, luv from Dagenham Dave and Lesley ❤
Good to see you too!
Hey man, read up on those thick PVC outer sleeves. They're a bit risky to use. Better to swap for polythene ones.
Wow, has it been 10 days already?! 😂 Great content again , and even better to see the sub count climbing every week. Well deserved guys
Thanks Louis! Wouldn't be where we are without all you guys

Nice List My Friend!!
Yes in particular this record by the Doors is great. I will listen to this Arcadium's record.

Thanks for the info on Arcadium, their album "Breathe Awhile" is on TH-cam, and it sounds pretty interesting.

Arcadium released a great album. I keep playing it.
Cheers.

Mad Season all the way! It's unbelievable, right? Why didn't anyone tell me about this before..
Death Walks Behind You is a great album. That and the "Devil's Answer" single are all the Atomic Rooster I need. Demons and Wizards is great, but Salisbury is my go-to Heep.

Absolutely love Ten by Pearl Jam.
I still need an OG of slave to the grind.
Demons & Wizards is definitely their best album.
I have a USA 1994 first pressing sealed of Perl Jam 10... supposedly the best sounding one. Never was released in USA in 1991.
OPETH FUCKING RULES🤘🏼🤘🏼.
Seventh son… the last good Maiden album….
Do you like Morrissey?
First comment Boom!!
